Implantation Bleeding

Post by suzhan »

Has anyone ever experienced it? What's it like and how do you know the difference between that and the start of AF?

I had implantation bleeding. It was a reddish brown, not bright red like AF bleeding. It went away after a day. I think the biggest difference is the color.

Good luck!

I had it for about week. From about day 10po onwards. It was very light, just like spotting really. That was the main difference, I just knew it wasn't my normal AF. I think it varies from person to person, but it won't be like your AF.
Take care.

Thank you for your replies. I'm a little confused as to what's going on with me. I'm between IVF cycles on a break and I think ovulated about 8-9 days ago and today I woke up to some very light pinkish/brownish color on the tp when I wiped. That's all it is. I was wondering if I'm about to get AF (which would seem to be too early) or if there's some way I could be pregnant. I hardly even want to think that (don't want to get my hopes up), but I'm just trying to understand what it could be....So far, no real AF yet, just this little spotting event.

Thanks again....

Hmmm, Could be AF starting but seems too soon to me too. Could be the meds still screwing with your system. Maybe you are PG. There are some women who have become PG after a failed IVF. Implantion happens 7 to 10 days after fertilization. Sorry to get personal, but did you have sex around the time you ovulated? Tell your RE. I wonder what he thinks. Ooooo, I sure hope you are PG. I love it when IVF women get PG naturally, it's a miracle. :) Good luck!

I think I'm going to wait the weekend before calling RE. I'm having some mild cramping and have been for a few days, so it may just be around the corner....we'll see.

The acupuncturist told us to have sex 3 days in a row when I o'ed.....so yes, we did. But, after so many years of trying, I don't get my hopes up anymore....I figure its old 'AF' playing tricks on me. I think I shouldn't really get AF until next week, like Tues or Wed??? But this whole cycle has been so crazy since the failed cycle, maybe it's just trying to catch up.

Thanks for the good wishes, I'll keep you posted.

Hey - I'm actually off to Las Vegas this weekend for a friend's bachlorette party! So, I'll be back with news on Sunday or Monday, hopefully no AF! I have to be good all weekend though, since I don't know either way....but, it's a small sacrafice which I'd gladly make if God would actually grant me that miracle.
