aunty/becky - so glad you've come too...our threads are not the same without you and this is where you will be by January when you get your BFP!!

I do miss the others so popping over to the other thread to say hi!

Hi laura/paige - don't think we have 'met' before. Paige it seems we are due on the same date - how fantastic to have a same date buddy. also have first scan on 17th so can share notes.

Wow it is lovely to have this thread.

Becky - Thank you for the comments. I have tried the ginger biscuits and they have limited sucess. DH is out tonight and had planned me a really healthy dinner. Just before he went out he decided to grab a quick burger and that really set me off wanting one. So I gave in a walked upto McDonaolds for burger and fries. I don't normally eat them but for some reason today they seem to have done the trick. Maybe it was my body telling me it wanted some junk food for a change.

Jackie - Thank you for starting the list. It looks lovely.

Paige - Congratulations - Welcome to this thread. I have also got my scan on the 17th which appears to be a popular day for scans, there is both of us and nimble already having scans that day.

Laura - It looks to me like you will be joining us very shortly. I am sure that you will enjoy being part of the family on this thread as they have been such a good bunch on the September hopes and dreams thread.

Becky, Aunty and Jeck. I am glad that you have come with us to keep us company and I can't wait for you all to get your BFP's.

Souris - I bet you can't wait to go back to see DH. We look forward to hearing how you get on in Dubai. Are you going to be living there for a while or will it just be a visit.

morning how are my BFP friends?

I had a small scare this morning when I had some minor spotting and lots of AF type of pains, hopefully the spotting is subsiding but still getting a dull ache. On tender hooks at the moment, too frightening to go to the loo! I know the clinic said that this is normal but it does scare you so much.

I think I notice it much more at weekends as we are just chilling out, where as work I'm busy so don't get to think about it or notice. Waiting for the scan is like the 2ww all over again, but worse

Yay! I am so glad Jackie created this board. I would like to be added! My due date is May 26th which I think is the earliest of the bunch.

I am feeling lots of morning sickness (but in the late afternoon). Perhaps it is true what they say..when you are pregnant with a girl...you feel sicker. I did not feel this way with my boys.

I am off to L.A. for a bachelorette party tonight. I have to say...I am not really up for an all-nighter of dancing and partying...but I will rally for my friend.

Let's keep this board going!

Zirly - i am feeling quite sick all day and someone told me that it can be worse with twins. We will find out at the first scan.

Nimble - I have heard that slight spotting is normal, but I am sure it can be very worrying. I know it will be hard but try to relax.

I hope that everyone else is well. I have gone back to work today, although I am signed off for another week but DH was just so exhausted doing all the work. I was only there for a couple of hours at lunch time and it nearly killed me so I will have to see how I get on tonight.

I hope that you all have a good weekend.

Hi ladies...

How are we all today.?
Little bit anxious today, got my 2nd beta and it was 516.9 up from 124 4days ago.....Does this seem normal or low.? I have to cut down on my progesterone pesseries now to one 3xdaily for the next 4 days and then stop. Have another BT on Friday. I'm also getting lots of sharp twinges around my ovary area...has anyone else exprrienced this?

Isla hun i wanted to put your mind at ease...i found a site and checked your doubling rate...it says anything <1200 should have a doubling rate of 48-72 hours your has a 46 doubling rate so is slightly higher than normal for your beta

Ange - Try not to worry about the twinges either. I have had various pains over the last 3 weeks and apart from the OHSS the clinic said that they are normal as your body settles down and the uterus grows. It sounds good that you can stop the pessaries soon. I am not sure how long I have got to have them for. I have got enough on my last prescription for another 2.5 weeks so I wonder if that will be it then. They are a pain as my clinic say I have to lie still for 1/2 an hour after each one and I take 2 a day which is sometimes hard to fit in. Also as soon as I lie down you can guarentee that the phone rings or something similar.

jemima - it won't be long and you'll be here before you know it, with all those other ladies on the sept hope & dream post.

ang - not that I know alot about beta levels as I haven't had one, but yours sounds great and its going in the right direction.
I'm getting twinges around ovaries, somedays worse than others and as Angela says it is just the body adjusting. Although if you had seen me Saturday I wasn't so calm!!

I think my spotting may be down to stress at work, as I was really wound up on Friday so trying to think of 7mnths time when hopefully I won't be here and trying not to stress out so much!!

angela - how did work go on Sat night? Please take it easy - any luck in finding another member of staff to help your DH? Poor thing he must be shattered. Can't believe that you have to lie down after each pessarie. I've been told that I've got to take them for the first 12wks.

Zirly how was the bachelorette party ? Are they the same as what we call hen parties?

I'm going to a party tomorrow night as a close friend of mine is going into hospital on Friday for a major brain op and it will be the first time that I'll be out with loads of girls who are drinking and dancin. Quite looking forward to see what it is like being on the other side to see everyone drunk when I'm sober!!!

Guess I ought to get back to some work......

Oh honey the spotting must have been really scary but its very very normal... How are you feeling. I am sure you are right and its probably something you notice that you are off work.. I find my twinges (thats what I call the cramps) seem to be worse when I pay attention...I have to take the pressies for 12 weeks too and I also have to lie down for 1/2 an hour..

I am so jelous you know that you are having a sweet little girl already.. I can honestly say beside the twinges I feel just fine. I have been normal with my stomache no belly aches or sickeness. Crazy huh

How is work going? Has it eased up at all...You are right to just do what you can do.. We cant wait for your first to see how many little ones...

As Aunty said you are right within the normal range.. If you had 4 days it should only have gone up to 496 right? I am not that good at math but if that is right you did double more than twice...and Yes on the twinges.. They are scary but a normal part of all of this. its all the growing...

For me not much we had a nice weekend and I am just waiting and waiting to get to that 12 week mark.. I wish it was today although I heard once you hear the heartbeat you are doing well.. Its just those nerves of wanting to KNOW everything is ok...
