what to expect after transfer

My first transfer is Tuesday and I do not know what to expect. I would love to hear how you guys felt afterwards or can give any good advice. Thanks Jen

it is hard to say, everybody has different symptoms,
take me for example,
because of the progesterone shots, my breasts are tender, sometimes I have cramps, like my period about to start, I am very emotional and I cry alot...

well my symptoms were very similar to malinka's. after the transfer, my dr made me lay down on the table for 30mins - which was very easy since I was sleepy from the valium I had to take an hour before my transfer. then I had to go home and do nothing for 2 days. even tho I was taken those progesterone shots, my breasts did not get tender. I did feel different, I did feel crampy like I was going to get my period and you do feel very emotional (guess it all the meds). but other than that I felt pretty good.

Good luck with your transfer since it was today and I hope everything turned out good.

Hi Jenf,

I felt absolutely nothing after the transfer, had 2 days of mild spotting and cramping the beginning of the second week and even after I got the BFP, I still didn't feel much. So moral is, we're all different, don't expect to be like everyone else as this may interfere with your peace of mind.
