October buddies??
I am stunned to report that 7 of my 9 eggs fertlized! I was really not expecting good news to be honest. Was surprised to have 9 eggs (I had prepared myself for empty follicles) and now can't believe that so many fertilized. Plus we did half ICSI and there was no difference in fertilization rate. We are scheduled for transfer tomorrow! (Should I be nervous for this?)
Cowgirl, Lori, Haylie-I can't wait to see your BFPs tomorrow! I am sending you girls lots of luck!
Jeck-Congrats on the 8 frosties! That's awesome! ER was fine, better than I hoped. There were some scary moments-going under the anesthesia being that hardest for me. But I'm proud of myself for sticking with it and going through this. At the start I really didn't think I would make it to this point. Walking through the door of the hospital was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Thanks for all of your support.
Jenn-So sorry to hear about the struggles you had with your clinic! I hope you let them know how their actions affected you. Did you have your transfer yet?

Hope everyone is doing well. I really feel for you guys doing the progesterone shots. I hope that you guys are hanging in there. I'm doing the gel-I think I've told DH 10 times how hard it must be to do the shots. You guys are so brave and real troopers! I hope they get easier for you as time goes on.

well, today went GREAT!!! The doctor was estimating 5-8 follicles and I had 15 eggs!!! I am so excited. I guess they were hiding back there somewhere.
Tommorrow I should get an update as to how many fertilized.
Feeling ok. I'm sore and in pain but nothing I can't handle.

Hello all! Retrieval went well. 15 mature eggs. 10 of those fertilized! Had mild OHSS, kind of scary if you ask me! Felt horrible for a few days! 
But, we transferred 3 embies on Sunday the 8th, day 5. My clinic is having me test on Monday the 16th~ Had acupuncture before the transfer and during this cycle. Very positive this go round! 
Surely baby love will come my way! Take care everyone and look forward to talking again tomorrow!
Oh, yeah. Is anyone else being advised to eat warm foods instead of cold ones? No ice cream, ice water, nothing like that? Heard it helps blood flow to the uterus. Hell, at this point anythings worth a shot!!

ampmed1-sorry about your OHSS; I bet that was scary! That was one of my fears of doing this because I was told I was at a higher than normal risk of this. I am sorry that you have been feeling so badly and hope that you are doing better now. Sounds like EC and ET went great for you! I can't wait to hear about your BFP. My acupuncturist also recommends warm foods-soups, hot tea (green tea especially) and to avoid ice cream or very cold drinks. She said lukewarm water is better that cold too. She did say that if you eat something cold, like ice cream, you should follow it up with something warm like tea. She said that in Chinese medicine, cold foods are considered to interrupt your various energy flows, including that to your core (and uterus!). Like you say, at this point, why not?!
