Hello Ladies:

Thanks for the translation of stones for me. I guess I have gained around 1 stone thus far.

Justine: I can't believe that you are almost done with your Christmas shopping. I have not even thought about Christmas shopping yet. I will probaby wait until after our Thanksgiving holiday, which is Nov. 23. Three hours to get to work!!!!! That is crazy! I thought my 1 hour drive twice a week was bad.

Jo: I'm sorry that you are feeling down. I hope your sugar levels stabilizen and you start feeling better. My day started off bad, as DH was in a bad mood and that affected my mood.

Kareen: We are going to name our boy, Andrew James, after DH whose name is James. I have been craving oranges. I have still not felt the little guy moving yet, eventhough I know he is moving. I'm wondering if I have felt him but am just not quite sure what I am feeling. I am a newbie when it comes to pregnancy, as this is my first one.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hello All

Hope you are all doing well. Kareen I can't wait to hear how everything goes tomorrow. What time is your scan? I hope it's the morning. When I have mine in two weeks it's not till 2pm but have midwife in the morning so that will keep me busy!

Riley that's a great heartbeat. I'm glad everything went well for you. When's your next one? Will you find out the sex?

Justine I don't envy you sitting on that coach. I used to commute from here but I was lucky as Paul used to drop me off at Stansted so I used to get the express into Liverpool Street then it was just a walk from there so only used to take about an hour. How's the car?

You are so organised getting all your christmas shopping done. I've done some of it and have a list for most of the rest. Alice's birthday is in December and Hannah's is in January. I have their birthday pressies but struggle for christmas.

Tammy it's not unusual not to feel the baby move until week 22 when it's your first. Though like you say, I'm sure it has been and you haven't realised it's him. I felt bubbles at first, then butterflies and what felt like tiggles. Now I get kicked and it feels like it's sumersaulting lots! I like your name you've chosen. We can't decide on a boy's name but have James as a middle name (after my grandad).

Thank you all for your kind wishes. Still not feeling great. The hospital phoned four times yesterday and just kept getting me to take more insulin. I had ketones yesterday which really isn't good for baby but today they have gone. My sugar levels are still really high which makes you feel really awful but baby is moving about loads so that's reassuring. I may go and get one of those listening things. Kareen do you use yours lots?

Paul finally finished the girls rooms. I mean they aren't spoilt or anything! lol One wall is pillar box red, two are deep pink and the other deep purple! It's so horrible it's kind of nice. Well Emma and Jodie love it (well they did choose the colours!).

I hope you are all ok. I need to go to Tesco but don't think I could make it round there, maybe I could use their wheelchair - no the baskets aren't big enough! lol

Have a great day

Jo

Hellooooooooo girlies..... and bumps....

Hope you are all well...

Jo - hope you are feeling brighter today. It must be at nightmare today but at least you're getting a good kicking!!   Anyway, hope things have settled down a bit more....

Justine - I've done most of my Christmas shopping too  Partly I have to say because of money i.e. probably having none. I don't like shopping at the best of times, so I know I can browse without panicking now. It's even wrapped - bows, tags the lot   As for the maternity trousers - you go girl - expansion is good!

Kareen - hope sacn goes well - I'm sure it will. If you drink plenty of fizz, you may get a dance!!.. LOL

Tammy - I'm with Kareen - you probably have felt the babe, but are putting it down to other things. It won't be long before you know it big time!!!

Hope everyone else is good. A day and a half and I'm on holiday for a week - YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Evening All

Kareen you are so lovely. I've decided not to get one. I think it will be good for the first week then I would get bored or get paranoid if I don't hear anything one time! Thank you for the offer though.

Yes the girls room is...... different! lol I've put Emma's Dora the Explorer duvet on and it's exactly the same purple and pink as the walls. Now I know why she chose those colours. We went out and picked the carpet today. A nice bright ..... PINK! Whatever colour we choose it will clash so why not go bold.

I've not really craved anything but I did tell Paul I'm not feeding the dog anymore as his food (he's on dry food) smells really really nice!

Kareen we will let you off about Justine's signature as when you scroll back the signature disappears, it's only there when you aren't in the post, if you know what I mean!

I don't know what DES is either but it doesn't sound good!

Everytime I've had the 20 week scan they've taken me in on my own first so they can see everything they want to see in quiet then they call in any visitors you've brought with you, so you may get chance to ask. Besides you will have having a few more scans before the birth so they can confirm it at every one!

Zoe you are good too. Think I will finally get into the Christmas shopping after the half term, then I want to get everything at once. I will probably do most of it on line as I don't like people when they're shopping :x

I'm feeling a little better. My sugars have gone down. They aren't great but they're down which is a start. They want me to go in tomorrow if the sugars are high first thing so fingers crossed they are ok.

Kareen best of luck tomorrow. Can't wait to hear all about it.

Vita I hope things are ok with you. Hayley I hope the move went ok and you will be back on line with us soon. Jess how was Florida? Renee haven't heard from you in a while, hope all is well, if you're lurking let us know how you are. Riley hope you're ok. There's another new lady but it won't let me scroll back enough now to see your name and I can't remember (we have pregnancy brain now), anyway, I hope you are doing ok too. And you Anna, I'm sure your lurking somewhere too!

Hope everyone else is ok. Oh and hello to Tammy!

Speak soon

Jo

Hello Ladies,

So nice to be able to talk to you ladies again, Unfortunately i dont get up anymore unless i have a doctors visit, i have been placed on pretty much house arrest and bed rest... Getting up to go to the restroom has become one of the highlights of my day and the biggest prize of the day is my shower which literally is no longer then 5-10 min with luke warm water???????????????????? as my doctor said, " i said it was possible to have triplets but i never said it would be easy" he wasnt kidding. As sleeping is now on a recliner (spelling).... I feel like all i do is complain, but i hope God will forgive me... Im so thrilled and blessed to have this pregnancy as things didnt come easy for any of us.... I had another scan today and baby 3 will not stay still to find out the sex.... i have officially given up and decided this will be the surprise baby. 2 boys and hopefully a girl if not then the 3 musketers will arrive....

Kareen, im getting excited for you about your scan!!!! after such a long wait im sure you are getting anxious to see them, and hear their heart beats... OH its going to be wonderful... If you really want to know the sex then you must use your womanly charm with the technician and somehow get your partner out of the room...Umm ok what about telling the nurse who takes your vitals and Blood pressure to slip a note on your chart to quietly write down what the sexes are and you can look at them later???? what do you think? Thats probably what i would do... just so things are not obvious, but the thing is will you be able to resist yourself from telling people what they are??? OH HOW EXCITING!!!!!

Jo, how are you sweets? Hows the baby??? Your daughters room sounds like my Goddaughters room...PINKKKKKKKKK everything PINKKKKKK...after her i thought to myself just incase if my third baby is a girl i will buy nothing PINK.... But girls are just toooo cute with the way they think... I hope your glucose levels will drop soon... any growth spurts by the baby??? Have you asked for the gender?????

Zoe, i envy you for getting all of your christmas shopping done and wrapped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow that is so impressive..you are my idol right now!!

Tammy, hi how are you?? As far as feeling the baby dont feel weird, i have 3 and still am not sure if i have felt anything, doctor said it was normal to start feeling anywhere from 19-24 weeks for first time moms...
As long as your doctor sees movement thats all the counts!! but he said you will for sure within a few weeks be able to distinguish them...so heres to hoping!

Hello to the rest of you wonderful ladies...... Hayley are you done with the girls rooms yet????
With Gods Blessings BFP!

Post by kdc2006 »

morning girls....

justine... hi ... how are you?.... i read about DES in one of my books last night....and read about it online too..... im glad times have changed... though its a shame for children of a mother prescribed DES.. especially if they are affected.... the following link is about DES,incase any of the women here want to read about it......
http://www.womenshealthlondon.org.uk/le ... s/des.html

vita...hello you... i can only imagine how uncomfortable you are and trouble sleeping...i sympathise there!!!...ive only 2 babies within me... so i kind of know how you feel and you have 3.... i moan too... lol.... im over the moon about my pregancy and the fact its 2... but the way i see it, its a womans perogative...to moan... hope your next scan reveals baby no3's gender.....take care..xx

jo..... how are you 2day?...hope the sugar level has dropped and your feeling much better.....
lol@you... yuk!!! dog food? i cant stand the smell of my dog saskia's food...omg please dont dare post that you have tasted it!!!! like your wee ones, my little niece ,who is 3,loves dora.... the colours will be nice together..... their room will be princess like....i can just imagine it..
about that listning thingy....your welcome too it if ya like... now that i feel movement ive no need for it... plus its noisey now with the amount of activity going on inside..... :P ....
ive decided to cut out fizzy drinks...well cut down.....ive bought in flavoured water instead..... at night my ankles are swollen and im feeling bloated so i will cut down on fizzy stuff.... :( ...im writing a christmas list put and going to start shopping....like you,i will do some online and pop into woolies for stocking fillers etc.... i hate crowds, queues, squeeling kids :o ...lol....

right im going for a nice warm soak.... want to look my best for my scan this afternoon.... im so excited as is darren.... if the hospital dont tell the sex then there isnt much i can do... as long as both are health and growing the way they should be, then thats all that matters.....

speak to you's later...
bye
