Gina and Cowgirlclass congratulations!
Charity - I am so sorry, but please don't give up. Each cyle is different. We've just had a really bad fertilisation rate, but last cycle we had a really good one. Who knows why? ICSI is better for getting fertilisation rates up, maybe they should do that next time?
Had my EC yesterday. They got 14 eggs and we were overjoyed. DH was good too, so we were told we didn't need ICSI, and that normal IVF would do. Honestly, this was so much better than our last cycle, we thought this was so positive and we'd have loads for the freezer.
However, we get the phonecall this morning and only 4 have fertilised. We were really disappointed. In fact I was quite gutted, I know I shouldn't feel that way, but I just thought 'what a waste of all those eggs'. We asked why and they couldn't tell us. But they did say next time they'd probably do ICSI. But I find the whole thing very bizarre as last time, although we only had 5 decent eggs, 4 of them fertilised. I don't know what the difference was this time round. I guess you just never can tell.
Anyway, going in tomorrow for ET and just praying that they are developing to a decent quality.

Ok- I just read like 7 pages of posts to catch up. You were busy!! I was so frustrated this week while on bedrest because our laptop wasn't working. The one week I needed it!! Mom and Dh took care of me and didn't let me into our office very often to post on the regular computer so... bedrest is over and I'M BACK!!

Jeck- Almost there! A busy weekend will help you a lot. I'm hoping to stay busy myself! hmmm...shopping perhaps??
I have had...how do I explain this? Cramps but not like AF cramps. Just aches and I hope it is just my uterus and ovaries expressing their distaste for me letting a Dr. poke around at them. But what if it is my uterus getting ready for AF?
I think the worst part of the 2ww is you feel yourself getting excited and you want to get excited because... this could be it! But at the same time you want to protect yourself for the failure that could happen.
This is soooo hard, and I applaud all of us for being as strong as we are.
Take care ladies, I'm praying and hoping for all of us.
BecP I just saw your post. I'm sorry you are disappointed, but keep your chin up. 4 is good! Stay positive. When is ET??
