I went to the Dr today, still measuring 4 wks ahead...Dr informed me that I will more than likely go into labor within 2-3 wks with the beanies....so we are in full steam ahead mode to complete everything... I just pray that I'm not home alone when it happens.

Hey ladies - just a quick post to say hi! Many congrats to all of you that have had your babies since my last post! Seems there has been a lot of action in last 10 days or so! I will never stay away from these boards again - lol!
I am very excited that we are all getting so close!
My doctor said she will induce me a week or so early so that I am home for Christmas - so I am thinking I will probably be having my daughter around Dec 15 - unless she has other plans and decides to come early.
This still just all seems like a dream.
Hope all is well. Have a great day.

Round 2 IVF - Oct/Nov 2010 - BFP!!!
That should work out really well. I hope my Dr. will do the same.. Maybe I can just tell her how much she would hate having to show up for my delivery on December 25th!
I have to say with both of my kids I was induced each time. So I would feel comfortable with that approach. The waiting to go into labor all by myself would be a new experience..
Congrats Julie and DH! Sorry to hear about your hard labor. but Glad to hear you made it out already!
Congratulations Julie and well done! It doesn't sound like you had the greatest experience, but thanks for not scaring us! I hope you are fully recovered and well rested, and welcome to your wee little boy.
Hope everyone else is well. Most of you guys finishing up work round about now?? I have one week left and am counting the hours literally! So tired when I get home at night I can barely be bothered to eat!! I feel like the baby has been "due in 5 weeks" for the last 2 months!! Time warp.
Bella if your little one turns out not to be a "lucy" when she shows her face, then nothing wrong with two sophia's running around either! Funny, I liked the name lucy too but a close friend popped out a baby before hand and took the name!
Hope you guys are all well. My belly really does feel huge now! I Can hardly sit at the desk typing without squishing my belly up to get to the keyboard!
Take care bumps and all.

Wow a lot is buzzing and happening!!! Danielle and Lisa - so glad you are here!!! I think its great that you are shooting to be home with beanie for christmas!!!
As I probably sound like a broken record, my cerclage is going to be taken out at 37 weeks which for me is right after thanksgiving - I am kinda hoping that I go into labor shortly after that - my doctor seems to think I will and from what I have read most women that have cerclages go into labor within a week of the cerclage being removed! If not I know that my doctor does not intend to let me go over my due date so we shall see - I am prepping my hospital bag to be in the car when we go to have the cerclage taken out!

Just a quick update...still nothing I'm not sure if I updated you all on what has been happening - we've been getting so many phone calls that I can't keep up to who knows what! All in all...if nothing happens by Wednesday (18th) then we go in to be induced. Crossing my fingers that babe decides his/her birthday is before then!
Welcome to all the newcomers to the 3rd trimester - it's really a nice and fun relaxing few months - you'll love it!
Hey everyone!! I'm back again finally. That pain I had in my right side ended up putting me BACK in the hospital 2 days after I was discharged after my emergency c-section. I was in the hospital for 6 long days. They still aren't sure what is wrong....it might be my appendix or an ovarian cyst that ruptured, or a uterine infection. But long story, short, NICU held the twins at the hospital for me and they released all of us 2 days ago. So we are all finally home together!
Since the babies were preemies they sleep all the time, except during changing/feedings. They rarely cry. The round the clock feedings for two babies wears me out though. The babies are so precious and cute.
I'm glad to hear all of you are doing so well! Seems like lots of action for several people. I haven't posted in so long that I had a lot to catch up on. Hopefully I'm home for good now and can keep up better with you all.
I just posted 2 pics on photobucket....finally! Tyler & Brady will be 2 weeks old tomorrow (Saturday).
Take care & I hope you are all keeping somewhat comfy during these final weeks!

KristiA - Congratulations on your 2 bundles of joy!!
I am here guys I have been in Munich and Italy without computer access. I need to read up on all the news just wanted to pop in and say everything is fine on this end.
I've been reading up on everyone's posts, but not being at work every day means I don't sit at the computer much, so have not been able to post anything...aaah, the joys of not working!!!
Welcome to all the newcomers to the third trimester - as you can tell, it all gets a little exciting towards to end.
Kristi - I have to go back and find the URL for the photo bucket cos it was bookmarked on my work computer, but I can't wait to see them. Do you still have the pains?
Mel - I told you I would be joining you on the big baby thread....Had a scan on Friday (34+1 weeks) and she is already measuring at 6lbs 8oz!!! I don't get it...neither me nor DH were big at all, so we are joking that maybe the clinic did mix up our bits afterall!!! DH is now convinced it means she will come early, and keeps pestering me to pack my bag.
Mel - when do you finish work? Have you found a replacement yet?
Hi to everyone else (Sue, Tracii, Jessica, Gregmbarry....sorry if I have missed anyone).

Kristi, Oh my gosh, what perfectly beautiful wee babes! You must be so so proud! It's just amazing to see them after all those months of chatting about the pregnancy and all and you kind of forget the wondefulness that lies at the end of it!
Big huge massive hugs to you. Have a healthy and quick recovery. All the best to you and the new family XXX

Hi!>
> So that's the labour part done and dusted. Not too bad - and managed to
survive without any pain relief at all. Whilst this sounds very brave, in fact
there were a number of reasons - I was feeling sick and I just could not handle
anything that would make it worse - and I arrived at the hospital too late for
an epidural. So not very brave at all really!!!! All went rather smoothly and
whilst it wasn't a breeze I'm sure it could have been worse. Shame I had to
have some "needlework" done but he-ho!
>
> Unfortunately complications with the placenta meant surgery for a spinal and
manual removal. There were further compliations which I won't dwell on but
needless to say it's an experience I would not like to ever repeat!
>
> Anyway, after two days in hospital we came home and are fine! V.scary having
a newborn at home though! Feeding is going quite good but at the moment he's
only interested for about 10 mins at a time so it' little and often I'm
afraid. Although last night he slept really well and I had to wake him at 4
for a feed so long may that continue!!
> Midwive just been (hence this is the 2nd time of writing this -i lost the
first one somehow!) and all looks fine. she'll be back to weight and do
healprick test on Thursday. Lost only a small bit of his birth weight - now
5lb 10oz so although only feeding for a short time looks like it's ok. And
from the look of the nappies it;'s certainly going ok!!!!! (good thing about
going into surgery is that Dave got to do the first few horrid nappies!).
>
> Can't believe he was born on his due date after all. It was destined to be
Friday 13th!!!!!!
>
> Anyway don't want to lose this post as it seems to tke me so long to write it so I'm going to be very rude and keep this short.
>
I think I may be missing some posts as there only seems to be a few in my inbox so I'll scroll back when I get more time and catch up with your news.
