Well my first transfer was yesterday. I transfered 3 embryos that were 8 cell and all grade A. It was a five day transfer. I am not sure if that is better than the three day or not. I am still learning all of the info as I go. I am worried about every little cramp or twinge that I feel. They said that the implant would occur within the next couple of days. I am not sure how I am going to make it through the 2ww.
You will make it through this 2ww just fine. Try to keep yourself busy ... The girls on this board are a great inspiration and a wealth of information & support!
Burrrr old man winter is knocking on the door tonight eh'?
hi jen i had my first et on tusday and i know exactly what you mean one minut i am so confident that i will be pregnant five minuts later i will have a cramp and i'm sure i'm srarting my period.but we need to take it easy and hope for the best result .how are you feeling and when do you go for your test ?
jenf and yogi - I had my transfer monday and have had some slight cramps or twinges....along with headaches and a junk food craving that won't stop! I'm hoping it's just side effects from the progesterone shots.
I had a Day 5 transfer as well, which is supposed to increase your odds somewhat, but there are plenty of ladies who get a BFP with a Day 3.
Me=32, DH=31
First IVF attempt (drug study),
Day 5 Transfer of 2 blasts
10/16=BFP!
11/13=TWINS!
overall, I feel great! My DH made me stay in bed for two days. I went back to work today and I had a late night, so I wasn't prepared for the long day that was ahead of me. I have a few cramping, but I am sure it was from the procedure. They said that if I were to have my period, then I would have it around or after my two weeks, but who knows. I go back Oct. 23 for the pregnancy test. How about you guys?
