Angellica, Congrats! Doesn't it feel great to be able to move on to the next step? When do you start stimulation meds?
I really do hope I have lot's of kids. I would still consider triplets a major blessing, no matter what the risks. I'm older now and I don't think it's practical, but I used to say I wanted 10 kids! I'd be super happy with just one now!

10 imagine that, I couldn't cope with reconstructive surgery I'd need after all them Triplets would be fantastic, I read somewhere that increasing your dairy products intake increases your chances of multiple births... would probaby just increase my stretch marks and the size of my behind! I hope you get as many as you feasibly can... and if theres only one then think of all that love you'll have for him/her!!
If baseline scan and blood tests go well on Thursday then stims wil start Friday....the 1st time I had IVF I went from a 28" waist to a 32" and looked 3 months pregnant due to having OHSS they told me I had over a hundred follicles but the more I read on this forum I think I must have misheard, I could hardly walk!! they are more careful with me now as they are apparently more concerned with keeping me alive, so sweet of them due to egg donating this time I am happy to be pushed to the limits, I know it isn't my time yet so stim all they like I have to give the recipient half so I want 30 at least!!!

Hey thanks cheeky monkey, you are spot on with your reminder. Started the injections this morning, DH is a doctor so he plunged it into the fat roll when I hesitated. I didnt bother icing it but I couldnt feel the needle - totally painless. I just need to pluck up the gumption to do it solo.

I have been off bcp's since 10/7, and on Lupron since 10/2. I have an appt. tomorrow, and was originally to start stims, however, I have not yet gotten af. Do I wait for af to start stims or will I go ahead and start?

I just gave myself the first dose of Lupron, I have to say I was kind of nervous, but everything went ok..........but days are going so slow lately!!!!!!!!!

JSM... do you have any spotting???? that seems like a long time to be off BCPs with no AF... .. hummmm last IVF I only had slight spotting before I started my stims... I bet it is really more about what your linning looks like... best of luck...

I had to give myself a Lupron shot at my DD's soccer game on Sat.. I thought I had walked far enough away from everyone.. but just as I stick myself a lady walked by...lol... I felt like a junky.... Rotf.....

angellica, I know what you mean. I went up about 2 sizes after stims last time. Ugh, I still feel so fat. I'm sz 5/6, but have been avg sz 3 most of my adult life. I don't want to lose any weight now though, it's not a good idea when TTC. I'm just trying to eat right so I don't gain anymore.

Well ladies...I feel absolutely terrible,my boobs are sore(sorry if tmi!!),my back is killing me and i have felt sick all morning,so much so i didnt go to work,and thats not like me,i just feel all over horrible..i cant remember any side effects from first 2 fresh cycle,the odd headaches but nothing like how i feel today...Mind you i just said to my friend,id gladly feel like this for 9 months if i could just get that BFP..Have any of you felt like this on the buseralin??
Well I went to my appt. and found out that I have a cyst, and therefore will be on Lupron for another week before starting stims. Apparently the cyst indicates that I am not sufficiently suppressed, and that is why I will continue with the Lupron.
I really hope things are better when I go back. My appt. is scheduled for next Tues. Unless I get my AF by Thurs., then they said I would come in on Fri.
jsm7502 don't be discouraged, I know we are all anxious, but one week is nothing, don't worry, everything is going to be ok!!

I'm so sorry to hear it. I know how you feel. I got cyst last cycle and got cancelled because my cyst was producing hormones. Hopefully, your cyst will disappear. Good thing is that your clinic is trying to do something about it. I was told to continue Lupron for only 3 more days before another US. 3 days didn't change anything. Actually my hormones went up more... I don't know why they didn't want me to do more Lupron. They just cancelled my cycle.
Now I'm paranoid that I will get a cyst again....
