i have to tell someone

hi all, it's been a while since i posted, i do check in and see how everyone is doing.... so i'll give a little background... i went through ivf, my last was hum, i think 10/05. after the BFN we deceided that we could no longer fork out the $$ so we put a stop to the IVF, thinking that was the end, but i really could not give up... so we tried clomid and nothing, then i developed a huge cyst on my ovary and have to have it removed, and while my dr was doing this we decedied to do what they call ovarian drilling, sounds gross, but people with REALLY bad PCOS(which is me) sometimes it helps...

then the next month tried clomid again and nothing, but on us they found that many of the cysts returned, so i lost even more hope... but tried again... nothing on us on day 13, so disappointed again went on living, trying hard to not let it consume me (one of the reasons i have not posted). Then we are going to start out last round of clomid and i get no period being pcos, so i take provera to bring on a period to try clomid again... this time i do not really get a period, just spots, so i call the DR?? what to do?? start clomid on day 3 of spots or wait for AF?? he said take a HPT and - thne start the clomid....

to my flipping surprise a +, i tell you that is the first HPT ever that has been +. i made my DH stop and pick up more, cuz i buy the cheepo brand, and by gosh we are pregnant... i had a blood draw today and HCG is 223...i'm so thrilled. DH said we have to wait to tell anyone, so i'm freeking out!!!!!!

so i thought that i could share my joy as i'm so excited, and it feels good to tell someone

Wonderful news!!! Hard to beleive after so many years huh! That moment when I saw the double blue band on the htp is one I will NEVER forget myself!! I went through about 10 just for the thrill and pure joy of seeing it turn positive after all those failed evil pee tests!

thanks for all the happy thoughts... i'm still on cloud 9.... I'm having HCG and progesterone test every 48hours... and HCG is up over 2600.... i'm so happy. There are times that i'm just in awe over the whole thing!! I'll probably pop over to the 1st trimester soon... we get our 1st US next week to check for the heartbeat... will be praying until then that all is well...
