Em - Sorry that it was not great news for you. But where there is a will, there will be a way. Glad at least that you can take the bcp and that will ease the pain for you

Vickie - Really hoping that your appointment at the new clinic went well. We'll be waiting to hear your news and plan

Mrs M - welcome this thread is great and super supportive. You are at the right place

Rachel - £850 for a FET sounds about the same as my clinic. At least, it is nowhere near as expensive as fresh. Hope that you are feeling ok and the cold has stayed away

Haylie - succumb to the X Factor. You know that it makes sense!!! It always makes me look forward to Saturday evenings and know that Xmas must be coming as we count down to the Final.

Laura - Big hugs as always.

Becky - hope that the weigh in brings good news for you

Now ladies - especially Aunty and Angie, you can both stop scrapping right away!!!! I win hands down as the old lady of the thread. I am already bloody 4-0. Back in May. Would rather forget about it. In denial as not even joined the ladies on the over 4-0s thread although I read it all the time to give me real hope!!!

Love to everyone.

Hi Ladies

Just popping on to see how things are...

Thank you to those who have welcomed me on this thread, I need to adjust to getting back into this catching up.

I have found a new clinic. I have to go to my own Dr to get al the relevant information, apparently this new clinic will not make appointments for anyone without confirmation that the patient has fertility issues. Has anyone else heard of this before. Hopefully in next 2 weeks I will have my 1st consultation..which im so excited about. Here hoping 3rd time lucky will work for for me..

Em - sorry things are not going to well, try not to be so down about things, take each day as it comes. Your next time will be your time. Good news that you can take BCP (what does that stand for) sorry to be thick!!

Rachel - £850 is exactly what I paid for my last FET. I thought FET was so easy compared to IVF/ICIS!!!!

Beckie - Fabulous news on your weight loss, keep at it will all be worth while. I joined my local slimming club last Tues and weighed in last night, I lost 2.5lb I also have 26lb to go really hoping for a miracle weight loss by January. Which diet are you doing if you don't mind me asking.

Carolyn - you do make me laugh with your message. Your as old as you feel.

love to everyone else on this thread, I need to get familar with everyone. sorry if i have not said a few good words to those I have missed

Love to all

Afternoon Lady's
Image Vickie thats great do you like your new Dr's and staff?.... as for her not knowing my Dr has no idea how the rest of the clinic works at all i skip him and go right to the nurses for my appointments i would absolutly call the nurses and ask for an appointment....its exciting isnt it moving forward

Image MrsM good to read you i hope you get your appointment through soon its always good to get the first consult out of the way... my clinic didnt need confirmation about infertility first but did need it afterwards so it held up my treatment for a few months waiting for it to be sorted so its good you get it done now rather than when your all excited to start and find out you have to be delayed...wishing you luck and a fellow 3rd time lucky

Image Carolyn what can i say im looking forward to turning 40 ive loved my 30's so much better than the 20's well i think so im thinking my 40's will get even better one because we will be mommy's but im hoping to be more mature...LOL well ok baby steps

Hiya Ladies,

I havent been able to get on line today, summit wrong with my pc :x so i had t wait till DH to come home, he's having a look at it for me as we speak, and im on his lap top

Mrs M: Im on the slimming world diet? Which one are u on? Ive tried weight watchers before and couldnt do nothing with it - i know i can do it, its just having the bloody will power to stick to it, its the weekends and eveings that kill me!!! I hope u do well, congrats on ur 2.5 loss, we will have to keep up each week and count down to our target weight :D

Aunty: Sorry to hear ur feeling so 'puffy', im exactly the same this month, i hate feeling like this, AF is over a week late for me now, my @@'s are sore, i get the odd ache down below, and now my headaches are starting, so she is deff comming soon. Hope ur feeling better soon, isnt it funny how most times we hate AF to come, then other times we dont - still, when she does we know everything will be getting back to normal, and we can soon start injecting to cock it all up again lol. Hugs to u Xx

Vickie: Great news about ur appointment, i bet ur so excited. U sound a bit like me really - impatient lol, if u feel u need to phone, then u phone if it gets u an earlier appointment then u go girlie lol xx

Carolyn: Only 3 more sleeps ....................... till the x-factor of course LOL, unless uve got sky and watch ITV2 on Friday night - u sound as sad as me, so u prob do hehehe - go Ben go Ben ...... Sorry, i think ive lost the plot lol

Ooooo ive just been informed, my PC is working again, im off to log onto to that one, i hate using lap tops ....... c u ladies in 2mins lol

Hey Ladies,

Just popping in again...always late with the posts. I've been out sick with a nasty UTI infection...come to find out that I had it during IVF! I don't know if it had anything to do with the my m/c but I am totally pissed that they did not find it. I never have any symptoms from it until I walking around in a ton of pain...it sucks  !! Now, AF seems to be showing up (I have PCOS so I never know if it will happen) I've lost 10 lbs but I have a feeling that I will be gaining at least 2 of them very soon because I am seriously raging for some choco...DH watch out!!! :P

Aunty - CONGRATS on loosing 5lbs! Yours will be definitely be a keeper as I know I only lost my because I was sick. I'm sorry you are feeling puffy but hey hamsters are cute! Hopefully, the swelling will only be around a short time.

Laura Lou and Mrs M - Welcome to the board. Sorry I'm a little late with it. LauraLou, I'm sorry for your loss and wish you well on your IUI.

Vickie and Mrs M - I'm glad you both found new clinics. I'm kinda considering switching mine but I don't know how hard it will be with the embies. I think I'm considering only because they did not catch the UTI and that I am really PMSing big time. But I think I will look into it.

EMs - I was reading your posts and I am so glad to see that you are remaining positive. Enjoy not seeing AF for a few months!

Welshgirl38 - you are too funny :P !! I'm on my way to got a HUGE Hershey bar. I am way PMSing!!! So, hopefully I won't do too much damage to my diet.

To all the other ladies, have a great one!!!

Morning girls...
I am feeling MUCH better thanks although whilst at Drs last night getting bcp (Mrs M - that's The Pill or Birth Control Pill, and you're not thick! ) I was told I have vertigo due to an inner ear infection! Nice! No wonder I have been feeling dizzy for about a week...Anyway, have some pills for that too so I'm rattling
Boy, was I glad to see those bcps last night...I kissed the pack!!! Thank GOD I won't be having any more pain or dreadful AFs until we are ready to start the next attempt. I am soooo relieved I can tell you, and am now feeling much more positive.
Vickie, hun - so glad you're appointment went well and you are feeling more positive now. It is true what they say, time is a great healer. And I agree with Aunty - I would definately call the clinic and make your planning appointment. Good luck!
Becks - well done you on the weight loss - wish I could have your willpower. I need to lose about 2.5 stone and just can't get up the enthusiasm for it...
Hi to everyone else - thanks for your support and lets keep up this PMA for the next couple of months until we get on that rollercoaster once again!

Hey Ems:

So glad ur feeling better, thats what i like to hear. Sorry to hear u have an ear infection, but im sure it will clear up soon - if that was me getting the dizzy spells, i would have written myself off - im such a hypercondreact (Spelling) lol. Im also glad u got ur pill so there be no pain, just think the next bout of pain u get will be ur labour

Kitty: I hope u havent done too much damage to ur diet lol, but ur allowed a relapse when AF is due  Im in work at the mo, and im starving already (DH always informs me when i say im starving that ;no ur not; kids in africa know what starving means - ur just hungry - i suppose he's right, its sad there are so many of them there so hungry when i have plenty of flab around me to keep me going for mths!) i was late this morning so went without breakfast (the most important meal of the day!!) hopefully i wont pig out too much when i get home

Well ladies, i think AF kinda arrived this morning, sorry TMI but she was there when i wiped, im sure she will be full on later/tomorro, the pains are already starting up  but at least she's here and now i can start to get back to normal, if only for a mth or so!

Well i better go and do some work, my bluff pile in front of my desk is starting to gather dust lol, catch u soon ladies ....

Well, it looks like I didn't miscarry. It appears I have an ectopic pregnancy. I went in to the doctor's office yesterday and asked to have my follow up beta early. I told them my breast were still sore and I haven't started bleeding yet.

They called me this morning and my beta is 850. They want me to come in on Monday morning. They will do more bloodwork and an ultrasound. I looked up the doubling time from my beta last Friday to the beta yesterday and it was a little less than 3 days. A slow rising beta is a classic symptom of an ectopic.

I don't have any pain or bleeding, so I guess a part of me hopes that maybe the doctor is wrong and this is a viable pregnancy. The rest of me knows better, my doubling time is just too slow, but when you want something so badly, you will cling to any hope no matter how faint.

You all are doing so well with your diets, perhaps it will inspire me!
