BFP awaiting scan

Hi ladies! I just wanted to start a new thread for ladies that have recieved a BFP but are awaiting scans. I would like to stay in touch with all the wonderful people I have met on the October board and know how there good news progresses.

Maybe even the awesome Jeck will make us one of those neat visual status boards!

Look forward to going nuts with you ladies waiting for that first scan!

Good Morning Cowgirlclass..... I've come to join you on this thread. We're actually going in for our first scan this Friday and we're so excited. Can't wait to see how many little ones are in there and possibly hear a heartbeat or two. I'll make sure to post all the good news as soon as I can!

You twisted my arm!!! I have no idea when my 1st scan will be. I think it depends on how my betas increase this week. If they are not exactly I will go sooner but if the are great then I most like won't go till almost 8wks. I will try to create a list either one night this week or this weekend. I am back at work now so it sucks that I can't come here as much as I want!!!!

I had my second beta this morning will let you know how it goes!!!

Like Jeck, I don't know when my first scan will be yet. I've got a follow-up apt tomorrow (Thursday) with the RE for my OHSS and then bloodwork Friday. I feel sooooo miserable with nausea and swelling that I would be surprised if my hcg isn't through the roof at this point. I've actually gained over 9lbs in fluid in just over one week!

I KNOW I shouldn't be complaining...I did get a BFP afterall, but it's been really hard to enjoy the moment while I feel like this.

Hey Ladies,

Just a quick post that I had my 2nd beta today and it was 316!!! It more than doubled so we are on way!!! WooHoo!!!

Brit10- Great to see you here... pretty soon this thread is going to be filled with tons of the October Buddies! Sorry to hear your feeling so miserable, hopefully things will get better for you soon enough. Please keep us posted on your numbers when you go in on Friday!

I am sooooooooooooooooooo tired today. I went to bed early enough but I have been dreaming so much more and getting up to go potty. I am at work and feel as though I could crawl under my desk and go to sleep!

Yeah I'm so excited for my scan this Friday.... is it Friday yet? Well I have also been really tired plus I was fighting a cold earlier this week which was not good. However, I have my good days and bad days (tired vs. happy). I also keep having very bad dreams lately... I just want them to stop. Hopefully having the scan this Friday will help ease those dreams.

I haven't had bad dreams, just dreaming more! I haven't really noticed any mood swings, during stimming or pregnancy. I even asked my hubby for a second opionion and I think I have had less mood swings since starting IVF.

By the way what time is your scan? Cause I am so anxious to hear how it goes. I must refresh this board a 1000 times a day. I am actually worried about what people at work might think

I would hate to get fired!

Well I had some mood swings during stimming... poor DH! However, they have decreased a lot, but they still sneak up on me once and awhile.

Well my scan is at 10:00am CDT. I have a wedding that day so I'm going to try and jump on the computer after my appointment, but before my hair appointment to give you girls the info.

hey fellow BFP's! nice to see so many of us over here.
jeck, your numbers are looking really good aren't they? in the uk, they don't do blood tests so iam really worried about my scan on 2/11. i don't no what my beta is or anything really, just that the HPT was BFP. we are off on hols on fri so am gonna take it easy, relax and just pray that all is ok.
is anyone feeling bloated and looking about four months pregnant already? think the bikini's gonna stay in my suitcase ha ha

got a really good pregnancy book today that shows what's happening week by week, it's amazing that our little embies are only as big as apple seed at the mo but will soon have all it's vital organs forming nicely. wow.
anyway, lets keep each other positive and i hope everyones scans are perfect!

Gina- glad to see you here.... do you know the name of the book you got? Is it your Pregnancy Week By Week? Some of my girlfriends have recommended that book to me. Yeah I find it amazing how something as small as a poppy seed can turn into a baby... mine is about the size of a small lentil bean right now! Too cute...
