First IVF Cycle didn't work

Had my preganacy test yesterday and it came back negative. So dissapointing and heartbreaking!
Don't know why it didn't work. They retrieved 26 eggs, 8 fertilized but only 2 were good for the transfer. But that is all we wanted was two. Will try again though!

I am so sorry for your BFN. I can imagine how you feel. Do you have an appointment to meet with your RE about your next steps?

Dear mills, I know exactly how you feel, my first IVF didnt' work as well.

However it doesn't mean that we have to quit, we have to be strong, because this board proves that IVF works. So stay strong, I believe our time will come.

Did you talk to your doctor yet?

I understand the devastation of experiencing a BFP. It was not easy for me to deal with either. After having my follow up with the RE, I felt very hopeful in my quest for motherhood. Hopefully your visit will do the same for you! Good luck!
