Hi Everyone,

I'm back after a couple of weeks break from the site. I've been really poorly and very sick since the day after I found out I was pregnant, but I'm back now !!

We had our first scan today and it's TWINS!!! DH and I are over the moon - we never thought we'd get a positive, let alone have twins! It was so wonderful to see them and to see both of their heartbeats, it was amazing to say the least. At least I know why I've been so sick all the time - they say the symptoms are double with twins!

We've got another scan in two weeks time so I'm already counting down the hours until I can see them again! We did get 3 piccies tho, so at least I can look at them every day - aren't I sad?!!!

I might actually post on the other side too - I haven't felt brave enough until now.

Thinking of you all.

Lots of love,

Jo
xx
Jo,

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a little ahead of you I think (10 weeks tomorrow) and expecting twins too - its sooo exciting isn't it?

We framed our scan picture and have on top of the tv and my dh has it as a screen saver on his phone - thats sad!

Hope your feeling a bit better now, I havn't had any sickness at all -my nurse also said it would be twice as bad with twins, so I am a little worried.

We have our next scan on 13 oct I too can't wait.

Take care

Sharon G XXXXXXXX

Hi Jo,
Congratulations - you and DH must be over the moon - and not at all sad - we've all gone through so must to get to this point that any indulgences are definetly permitted!
Di

Jo

Excellent news for you and DH. Dont be doing too much and look after those babes. Those scans are amazing - we had a 10 wk scan Tuesday and he was dancing about like 'your dad at a wedding (as they say.)'

luv
Bertie xx
10 wk 2 days pg with 1

[Edited by bertie on 02-Oct-03 06:28]
Age 32, DH 36.
TTC 7 yrs.
Baby Phoebe Jessie was born 26/03/04 - 5 week early and utterly gorgeous!!
Congratulations on the twins!
We went for my 10 week scan yesterday and baby is still OK. Baby Bod was wriggling around all over the place and wouldn't stay still at all! Measures 3.5 cm and a strong heartbeat. Am officially 10 weeks 2 days today and we are now discharged from Leeds and go to see midwife at my local maternity hospital tomorrow for blood tests etc.
Have been signed off work for past 3 weeks due to constant nausea and vomiting. Work have advised me not to return yet so doctor signed me off for another 2 weeks. A bit difficult to teach a class of 11 year olds when you need to have your head down a toilet!
Not quite brave enough to post on the other side yet - still think I am tempting fate, but am so glad that we got this far after the miscarriage. Keep looking at my photo and DH has scanned them in and begun a digital family album!
Take care.
Michelle
