Hey everyone. Just saying hi. I miss posting everyday. It's amazing that there's not enough minutes in my day now to do the things I'm used to doing. The babies really have me hopping. They are adorable and doing good. I learned how to do the double breastfeeding football hold with them today, so that is cutting the feeding time down since I can feed them both at the same time.

I feel overwhelmed at times and am hoping I'm not having post-partum depression. It's difficult to have your whole life changed and every part of your daily routine is different than what you are used to. Times 2 for me with 2 babies.

The babies are so sweet and cute and everyone tells me I'm lucky to have such good babies. I just love giving them love and kisses.

Hope you are all doing well....

Kristi - your posts keep making me cry....so much love for your little boys. I just can't wait til I see my little girl & bring her home.

All is good with me - have been (trying) to be creative and do some artwork for the nursery - it's a lot of fun, but I will have to advise visitors to only view from a distance (you can really see the shoddy work when close up!).

After the big baby scan, I got the report from the ultrasound which puts my baby in the 95th percentile - argh!!! Weird though, I don't feel that big, so I don't know. I haven't worried about it yet, but I think it might be on the back of my mind & I might start to freak out about it soon. Maybe the natural birth option wont be good for me afterall :-(

Everyone on the board has been really quiet lately, and I can't help but wonder whether not hearing from someone means they ar giving birth???!!! Hope you are all well...

Bella.

Hi All -

I posted a picture of Hendricks on photobucket. Everyone's babes are so adorable!

KristiA - I can hardly imagine having 2 little ones right now, so please don't worry about feeling overwhelmed. I feel very stressed at times and I have just one. I am sure you are doing a marvelous job but I agree that having your whole routine change is quite an adjustment. Sorry, not trying to over-simplyfy things... just wanting you to know that you are not alone! Hang in there :)

Julie, Hendricks is so cute!! Great picture. I've been trying to figure out how to get a good pose in a picture like you did. It's so sweet!

You are right about what you said. It's the same lecture I keep giving myself!! Darn hormones!!

Congrats Cla, Julie and Kristi on the healthy babies!! I can't believe you all have your little bundles...where did the time go???

How is everyone else? I am back online until Wed....then back to Munich to wait for Isabella's arrival...with no internet connection :? I missed talking with you all and feel so lost on all the news.

I am personally feeling overwhelmed right now...just lots going on and to be honest feel like I have had no time for me or the baby. Last week I did lots of work in our garden and thought I was going into labor that night..turns out my uterus is just dropping. Went to doc on Thursday and Isabella is doing well..despite all the travelling....she is over 5lbs and growing. Doc also told me I have gained way too much weight in the past month..she contributes it to stress...but I literally have gained almost 20lbs in 1.5 months!

Hey girls! Just got caught up on the posts from the last week or so.

Work has been busier than ever. I work for my family and my little sister works here too. She is 34 1/2 weeks pregnant with her second and she was just put on bedrest due to high blood pressure. She had the exact same thing happen with her first. Anyway, since she has been forced to start her maternity leave early, that has added more to my work load. I am doing ok - I refuse to stress out over it because that will only make things worse for me and my baby. I guess this high blood pressure thing can run in families so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I do not have the same problem.

Traci - great to see you back on here! I am feeling overwhelmed, and HUGE, too. I have gained about 33 pounds so far this pregnancy. I honestly do not feel that I have been overeating or anything. I have just accepted that it is what it is and I will lose the weight later. I am overwhelmed mostly when I think about my job and how I will continue to work after my baby is born.

I am so in love with this baby - especially these past few weeks. She responds to my voice now and kicks whenever I rub my belly. I just can't believe how blessed I am. I am sure you all know what I am talking about.

Jessica - hi! Thanksgiving is only weeks away! How exciting to know that you will probably be having your little one before November is over! How have you been feeling? I am good for the most part. My biggest complaint is back pain - but I am sure most of that will subside after the baby is born. I seem to have mastered the pregnancy "waddle" these days. My DH has a lot of fun laughing at me!

Danielle - so have you talked to your doctor about being induced? As I said before, I will probably be induced sometime between 38-39 weeks - but that depends on my cervix. I have an appt. monday morning and I plan on bringing it up with her again at that time.

Kristi, Julie, Cla, and everyone else who has had their little one(s) - I am so happy to hear that you are all doing well. I am planning on stopping by the photobucket site real soon to see all of the pictures. You are all inspirations to me!

Hello to all of the other ladies - hope you are all as happy and excited as I am these days! Have a wonderful weekend everybody!! :D :D

Congratulations Cla! Another baby born.

Bella - sorry to say that am taking some comfort in your big baby experience too, makes me feel a little less alone. I thought things were okay, midwife seemed to think things were slowing down, but she checks me so quickly and casually am not really sure about her diagnosis.

She sent me on another scan on Thursday, as she thought baby might be breech. Turns out it isn't ... but she IS just plain ginormous

Before was panicking that was at 97th percentile, but now I am actually skidding off the graph so it won't even compute the percentile!!! The head and all are measuring almost 41 weeks :( (when I was 36wks and 5 days), the abdominal won't even compute! Ie way over 40. They baby is weighing at MORE than 4.2 kgs now apparently. They say more because it going off the graph meant it couldnt compute properly. :( Heck, am trying not to panic but really am a bit worried. They say the u/s are not accurate and am really really hoping this is the case. Worried about baby contining to grow like this for another 3 weeks.

In addition, I had earlier had it highlighted that the kidneys were dilated, and these are measuring much bigger than previously too.

Hanging out to see m/w on tuesday!

On a good note, I finished work on Friday. Yay!

Hope everyone is well. Sue, not heard from you for ages, does this mean you have had the baby early!

take care all

Hey all. I thought I'd share a sweet thought to help those of you in your final not-so-comfortable weeks. This will help you remember how great it will be when your little ones arrive. I just breastfed both of the boys at the same time....now they are laving on my lap sleeping.....while I'm typing to you. It's so precious to see them.

Mel...glad to hear you finished work!! Now you can finish anything around the house you need to finish before the big day.

Lisa, I loved how you described your feelings toward you baby!

Tracii, I remember that overwhelmed feeling with finding time to do things. Get everything done as much as you can and try not to stress out too much. Once your baby comes you won't feel like you have time to do anything. It's a very strange feeling.

Ahart...glad to hear you are hanging in there still too! Not much longer for you!

Kareen, I miss chatting on the double trouble thread too!

Jessica, glad to hear you are doing well too!

So have we heard from Sue lately?

Bella, how's the artwork in the nursery coming?

Hello to everyone else! I'm impressed that I had time for a few personals. My free minutes are so rare!

Love to all....

Mel - have they mentioned inducing you at all? I don't know what I'll do if I go to full term. DH seems to think that she will come early for sure because of her size, but that's not necessarily the case, and that's what worries me. And to make matters a little more complicated, because of the dramas I had with my midwife, she doesn't even know I had a scan, and now not sure how or even whether to tell her!!?? You must be so glad to have finished work....now you can relax a bit more without all the stress.

Kristi - the nursery is all finished, and I love it! I keep going in there just to look at it. DH is so sweet, he says it looks so good it should be in a magazine! How sweet!

I bought a Grobag Egg today - have you guys heard of this? It's fabulous! It's a night light that tells you the temperature of the room & changes colour based on if the room is too hot, cold etc. (blue, yellow, red etc.). It looks really cute too.

Wow - Kristi - do you have a couple of extra hours more than the rest of us in the day? My days just whizz by just feeding, burping, changing, getting showered and having a tidy up! I haven't had a chance to get on here for ages and low and behold you've kept up with posts on your news and everyone elses AND you have 2 babies!!! I'm so impressed!

Midwife came on Thursday and Charlie has put on 8oz since he lost his birth weight in hospital. Yeah!!!!! 6lb 2oz now! I was so pleased asI was convinced he wasn't eating enough! That's the trouble with breastfeeding - you can't gauge it as easily as whne bottle feeding.

great to hear that everyone else is doing ok. So many of you so close - it's exciting!!! I am keeping up on your news I promise!!!!

Well I'd better dash. Need to have a peek at Charlie before I have a bath (he doesn't need anything I just like staring at him!!!!!)

Talk soon

Hi Ladies,

I'm happy to hear everyones doing well with their little one's at home and on the way. I came home from the hospital after staying there all night with pre-term labor.....and was having contractions 2 min apart, they started and IV and I was on terbutaline/brethine, now I'm on the pill and have to take it every 4 hours. Now I'm on strict bedrest

I've also dilated to 2 1/2 cm.
