Hey Ladies!

I had my bloodwork done this morning and I am officially on femtrace. I should get AF within the week. Once she gets here, it's back to being a pincushion.

I got my meds today. Not overwhelming like the last time. I do have some new stuff including metrogel. It's a vaginal suppository that I take in between the retrieval and transfer. Anyone have experience with this stuff?

I hope everyone is well and making great progress in our quest to become mothers! Take care!

Wannababy- sorry but i have no info on metrogel. Hope your AF comes soon so you can start the next part of this journey. I am still waiting for mine it is 2 days late why does this always happen when you want it to come.

I have been having a few twinges in my right ovary and i am getting concerned. I tend to get it mid cycle when i am ovulating but never whilst i am waiting for AF. I didn't get this last time. I will talk to my RE when i go and see him once my AF arrives. I hope its not a cyst, i have never had one before so don't know what to expect. Has anyone had anything like this before? Am i being paranoid?

Tonia,Anjellica..i dont think im too far behind you my stims start 30th Oct and im scheduled for ER wekk beginning 13th November..

Im praying so hard that we all get the best Christmas pressie ever,my injections are going ok,but im really not sure how i'll handle another BFN just before Christmas,so im hoping we'll have something to celebrate..

Hey IVF gals! I hope you're all having a great weekend. Today is DH's and my 18th wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe time has passed by fast. I love him more today than I ever did. Advice gals - never take your DH for granted, always show your appreciation for the little things that he does and never let a day go by without saying, "I Love you".

Thanks hopeful-in-LV for keeping up the list. I would never keep up without ya!!! I hope your having a great day.

Ellie - I've had several cysts but mine has never really bothered me except during ovulation time. I wouldn't worry too much about it, just speak to your RE about it. NO MORE CYSTS ON THIS BOARD!!!

Nictor, Tonia, Angellica, Kelly; Wendy and Sarah - Good luck with your stimming. I hope I didn't miss anyone. Let me know how ya do with it. Any of you using Menupar (sp?).

Starting second pack of active BC pills for one week. Get Lupron injection this Wednesday...then AF...Looking at Thanksgiving week for ER and ET.

It is very interesting to read all the stories.

Hoping for all Postive results for xmas.

Congrats on 18 years Jovigal, that is fantastic. I dont doubt that such a successful marriage takes lots of love, attention and commitment. I hope you both enjoy your wonderful celebration. I think I am taking Bravelle and Menopur????

I am driving myself crazy with excitment, hard not to start imagining all the positive scenarios....argghhhh I need some more distractions. Take my last bcp tomorrow... first stage over looking forward to joining Angelica, Kelly and Tonia on the stimmming section of the list (Mia you are a champ!)...by the end of the week.

QUESTION: I am flying to San Fran this weekend, has anyone had any hassles with carrying meds, and injections on board? I have a letter from Doc but dont want to check them in in case they get lost... insights welcome!

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a fun Saturday night (or had fun for those of you on the other side of the pond). As for me... I'm beat. I've been moving soil around all day. DH and I are finally starting to do our landscaping. We had 12 tons of soil deliverd today and we had to bring it from the curb to the backyard. I am excited to finally start my garden, I've never had one of my own.

Congrats Jovigal on your 18th wedding aniversary! I admire you two. You married so young yet you seem to be more in love than ever. That is so rare. I'm happy for you.
I was married the first time when I was 19. Everyone said he was wrong for me, I didn't listen. It was the biggest mistake of my life. I'm kind of embarased to say this... I believe he even passed an STD on to me that caused my infertility.

I was with him and only him from age 15 to 26, never used BC after marriage and never got PG. Fortunately I'm now clean of the disease, but I'm left infertile. It's kind of a tragedy, I'm with a wonderful man today who I hope to be married to forever and he has to pay for IVF so we can hopefully have just one baby. Sigh... well at least there is such a thing as IVF, for that I'm thankful.

Sarah, I'm not sure about the meds on the Plane. I think a lot of times it depends on what level of alert we are on. I know at one point we were not allowed nail clippers. It wouldn't hurt to ask when you check in your other baggage if it's OK. Carrying on the meds alone and checking the "needles" should be fine. If the needles got lost, you could probabaly just pick up the sarringes at a pharmacy if you needed to, might need your RE to call it in though. Another option might be to mail the sarringes to where ever you are staying a few days early.

Ellie, check with your RE. Don't worry, I'm sure it's normal. We always tend to feel abnormal with all the meds we take.

Hi Guys,
I'll apologise in advance for this post as I know I don't appear on the boards very much so feel bad for just butting in a posting this but knew it was the place to come. I have read lots of posts saying this is the place to come and vent your anger and upset and as its 4.15 in the morning and I can't sleep I knew this was the place to come!

Before I started this cycle I had a routine smear to get it out the way in case I got a BFP and had to wait 9 months! This morning in the post i a Letter asking me to come in for further investigations the week before EC and ET. So I can not see how I can carry on with this cycle as it could be risky if they find anything or need to biopsy. I'm pretty distraught (?) and with it being a Weekend I can't ask anyones advice. Not even sure they'll want to go ahead as have obviosly started taking the drugs which intefere with lining of uterus etc? Also slighly concerned that the NHS are getting me in so quickly. Sorry have lots of questions in my head as have been awake just thinking!

Anyways, hope nobody minded me ranting on. I'll shut up now.

WEll done the girls who have the go ahead to start stimming. Won't be long now.

Ellie- hope all is ok with the pain, and gets sorted soon.

Better go as DD will be up in about 2hrs and I had a lie in yesterday so my turn to get up!!

Casey - So sorry your clinic dropped a letter on you like that without explanation or a way to contact them. Don't they realize that we are all worry warts and over analyze every little detail they tell or don't tell us?

Hopefully it not anything to worry about and all will be resolved for you on Monday. Just keep thinking positive.....

Mia - I love gardening too! That is my big stress reliever. It's getting cold now so I'll be hanging it up for the winter...

I have lots of winter projects (remodeling) to keep me busy though. Thanks for you comments. Yes, I married as soon as I graduated from High School, very young. But I wouldn't go back and change it for anything. We've had our ups and downs but it's made us stronger. I'm sorry that you got a STD. I'm glad you were able to move on and find your love though and thank God for IVF!

Sarah - you can call the airport or airlines that you will be using to get the details. I've heard that you can carry your meds on in a clear plastic back. The needles would have to be checked or mailed out earlier like Mia said. Have a good time. (thanks for the comments also)

Sarah... I agree.. I would call the air line and ask before you go and ask what you need to do in order to carry on your meds and needles.... I know there have to be some ruling... there are a lot of people that need meds and needles with them... Good luck...
