NOV 06 IVF girls....

Hi all,
I finally got AF last Thursday. I called my nurse and she said to come in on Friday for another us. I still had the cyst, but it had gone down (18mm to 11mm) since Monday. My dr. told me to start taking Luporn 2X a day and come back this coming Thursday. If the cyst was not gone he would numb my ovary and drain it.

I started Luporn Oct. 2 so will have taken it 24 days by next Thursday. That seems like a very long time-has anybody else been on it this long, or had 2 injections a day? Dr. also mentioned that he would up the dosage during stimming.

I am not sure if I'll be able to stims after Thursday, or what will happen. I'm just trying to take it one day at a time and not get frustrated, but I do really hope that I will begin stims soon.

Hello, Hope you all are having a good weekend- Went to the Doctor on friday and had us, have been on lupron since 10-08-06, had ultrasound and was given the go ahead for the stims. I began repronex in the pm and continue lupron in the am but only 5units.. Go back for us and more blood work on tuesday. Hope all of you are doing great with this process!!!!!!!!

Hi wannababy! How are things going? When do you stimm?

Hi everyone! I had my baseline US and BT today. Everything looks good and I will begin Estradiol. I think later this week I will be starting PIOs. Poor DH, I'm not much fun when on these meds. He has a hard time with it. We both are quite stuborn when we disagree and I'm much worse with all the extra hormones. Never mind poor DH, poor neighbors! They'll have to listen to all the screaming! Anyway, I'm getting there... 2 1/2 weeks till ET, YAY! Does anyone know their estimated ET date yet? Maybe some of you starting stimms now will be doing ET at the same time as me.

Casey, sorry about your news. I wish you the best of luck and hope everythings works out. Don't worry, when everything is right you will complete your cycle and get a BFP!

jsm7502, I hope everything works out for you. It looks like your RE is on it and has a good plan. It does seem like a long time to be on Lupron, but it's not unheard of.

Jamieandduane, Congrats on getting the green light! It won't be long now! When are you supposed to do ET?

My update :
Well, my clinic faxed me the test results. What a joke! There were numbers only for volume, liquidations (or smth like that) and concentration. All other stuff was discriptive like: rare motility, color...., ordor... Who cares about color! I paid 120$ to find out the color and ordor?! I don't need a microscope for that....
I wanted them to do the test to compare % of motility and morphology with previous tests.
My husband called the clinic today, they wouldn't let him talk to the doctor on the phone. He had to make an appointment. I'm so disappointed in this clinic. We will see what the doc will tell us tomorrow. I mean this is the lab that is going to do ICSI for us and they cannot do semen analysis right?!
On the top of that, I feel a little bump on my left side and it's kinda bothering me. I have a feeling it's a cyst again...... If it is a cyst, I'm really considering changing clinics. Last time a had a cyst they didn't do much about it and this time i had exactly the same dosage of Lupron.
Anyway, sorry for the post. I just wanted to get it out of me. I'll keep you posted.

WEll, another week has started, and I just was catching up on what I missed over the weekend Congrats to Kelly,Sarah, jamieandduane, angellica, and Tonia for moving onto the next round So happy for you and I send LOTS of ((HUGS)) and baby dust your way!!

I have a RE appt tomorrow to check on those cysts...hopefully they are finally gone. I take the last of my meds tomorrow a.m. Crossing my fingers (and toes) that they have finally disappered! I will keep you posted.

Also went for my first acupuncture appointment on Saturday! It was nice and relaxing...I will be have 5 treatments 3 days apart.... I want to see how well this works? I go again on Tuesday a.m. before my RE appt. At least it should help with all the stress !!! So far, so good.

I'm actually ready for those injections....bring them on!!!!

Hello all, I actually began stims on 10-20-06 and the dr. says maybe ER on 29,30 or 31. So i guess i am really an october girl but oh well. Next ultrasound is tomorrow and more blood work. Best wishes to all!!!!!!!!

KF-06 - Have a heart to heart with your doc over this. You don't need to be going into this with negative vibes. If you can't resolve this, I would consider finding a new clinic if you have one nearby.

I have a question--- I'm currently on BCPs, when will AF arrive, how many days after the last active pill? I'm trying to calculate when the possible EC and ET will be... (possibly Thanksgiving)

Usually after stopping BCP the period comes soon after--I think AF came no more than 2 days later for me.

Well Guys had a pretty stressful day, and although my clinics first reaction was to cancel my treatment right away, they discussed it with the clinic were I need to go for the investigation/biopsy and have managed to move my appointment forward to tomorrow!

I should therefore get my results through before I am due to start stimming so we now what we are looking at. I haveto say after my very stressful and emotional few days I am quite prepared now to cancel as do not feel I am in the right frame of mind! But at least I will hopefully have all the information before I give up.

Ah well, I'm definately all cried out. We'll just have to wait and see. Why do we have so much waiting to do in this game?!!

KF'06-Fingers crossed for you. So sorry that your going through this and your clinic are not giving you want you need.

Sorry you have been so emotional. This is a crazy journey, no doubt. I have cried plenty of tears too, and each bump in the road I swear is the worst thing ever!!! But, each bump only makes us stronger, and I know that the bumps are often there to show us maybe our bodies need more time, or it's just not the right timing!! I know it's hard right now, but wait to get all the information, and then make the best decision for you. Take care of yourself, and know that the bumps will smooth out!!!
