NOV 06 IVF girls....

My parents just sent me a pic of my cousin's new baby girl born on the 19th. I hate feeling sad every time I see a new baby picture. I am sick of feeling bad for myself. I feel like a terrible person.

MBA Hope all goes well with your appointment today fingers crossed those cysts are gone. I agree that each bump in the road makes us stronger but it just seems so difficult to realsie this when it is happening. Casey P hang in there and believe that you will make the right decision for yourself. So sorry you have to deal with this.

My pain only lasted a couple of days but i will still talk to my doc about it. Well my AF came last night so i will call clinic this morning and hopefully get an appointment today or tomorrow and can be on my way with stimming. Will let you know so the lovely hopefull can update me on her great list.

Hi Ladies,

It has been a while since I have been on so it will take me a little while to get caught up with everyone. I will do personals when i get home from work. I do however have a quick question. I am going to specialist refered to me by my RE for the cysts and hydro, I called my OB's office yesterday to get my records for my appt. My OB ended up calling me last night at 8 asking me who I am going to go see and that she wants me in for another ultrasound this week. My question is should I get the ultrasound through my OB or should I just wait until next Tuesday when I go to my new doctor? Any advice would be great.

It is nice to see that you all seem to be moving in the right direction, I am so happy for you.

As for my fellow cyst girls, I am hoping that they GO AWAY!!! I know exactly how it feels to have everything just come to a hault.

Like I said I will catch up when i get home from work but for now I am sending love and baby dust!!!

Its me again. I obviously have to much spare time.
I have been to my doctor and i am going to be starting Gonal on Friday . I have this for 2 days and then i have Menopur as well as Gonal. I used both last time but it seems that most other people use 1 or the other, i guess different countries have different procedures. I am so happy to be on my way it does seem more confusing this time though! I am going back for a follie check on the 3rd Nov. I guess i better get back to work and do a bit of weeding.

Hello girls, sorry, I haven't written in a couple of days...work has been crazy ...
But I have some good news that I wanted to share with you guys!!. My AF came over the weekend!!!!!!!!! , so I went today to have my ultrasound and hormone levels, the ultrasound was ok, so I am starting stiming!!!!!!!!!! , I am sooooo thrilledddddddddd!!!, now I am waiting for the call from the IVF nurse to tell me the schedule for the stims.
Sorry I could not personalize it now, but I am at work, I just needed to vent, will write again later.

Just quick one from me,

Have just got back from my investigation and biopsy. And although I won't get definate news for 2 weeks the consultant says from what she sees today there is no reason for me not to continue the IVF! So I need to now try and relax (Ha ha!!) as my head has been all over the place for the last few days and I feel exhausted. Plus AF showed this am, hopefully to be my last for at least 10 months!!
DH has just been for his sperm test today, so hopefully we are over this hurdle before the next one comes our way.

Vicky-good to hear from you. So glad you can start your stimming.

Elliecat- thanks for the reply and glad AF has arrived. Looks like this thread could soon get exciting.

better go as off out to dinner with work for one girl who is leaving to have a baby. Wasn't going to go if the news wasn't good today, but feeling more positive and need a distraction. Am sending DH to collect DD from childminder.

(((HUGS)))) I know just how you feel.. you are NOT a bad person.. we are trying to overcome an illness and we get very little support and soooo many people just don't understand... you get to feel what you want with going through infertility... Good news!!! My cysts are GONE!!! So happy about that!!

Had another acupuncture appt the morning. Went very well. I am responding well to the treatment, and if anything else, feeling a lot less stress, which is always good during this IVF ride!!!

Things are going to move right along now... hopefully. I start stims on Sunday (10/28) Planned EC 11/8 ET 11/11

Thanks for all the cysts be gone thoughts and dances...they worked !!!

I have to run for now, but am thinking about each of you.

M'BA...glad your cysts are gone,and i know what you mean about the accu,its so relaxing,ive started it again this cycle,not doing it as much as i should(to be honest,it more a money matter as we're funding all our cycles ourselves),but never the less its really good..

Ellie,Vicky..glad you're starting stimms,hopefully i'll be joining you on Monday!!

CasyP..ivf is the most stressful and emotional thing ive ever had to endure,every step seems to be a huge hurdle we have to overcome,but we have to have faith that we'll get there in the end..so if you've been emotional,just cry and give DH a cuddle,and dont stress even more by worrying about emotional,when you've got your baby in your arms,all this will seem SOOOOOOOOO worth it..

To everyone ive missed,hope you are all well at whatever stage of tmt you're at..

CONGRAT'S M'BA, if you dont mind me asking did they prescribe something to help eliminate them? Just asking as I think mine are getting bigger as I am feeling more uncomfortable and the BCP is not helping.

Dont worry those feelings are so natural. You are not a bad person at all! Your day will be here in about 10 months or so I can just feel it!

As for me AF arrived today so I have to make my appointment for bloods and the U/S. They want to do all this now even though I am going to be having surgery before anything really starts.

I HAVE BEEN SO SO OUT OF IT, WITH WORK AND THE HORRIBLE MONSTER LUPRON INDUCED MOODS, I HAVE NOT WANTED TO TALK TO ANYONE. I AM FEELING A BIT BETTER, AND MORE OPTIMISTIC. WELL, I HAVE BEEN FINE REALLY. TOOK MY LAST BCP ON SATURDAY THE 21ST AND AM NOW WAITING FOR AF. I HAVE BEEN TAKING 10U OF LUPRON EVERY A.M. SINCE OCTOBER 14TH AND IT HAS BEEN OK NO SIDE EFFECTS EXCEPT FOR A BIGGER APPETITE AND BAD MOODS REALLY, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS DUE TO MY NICTINE WITHDRAWAL, SINCE I QUIT SMOKING 1 MONTH AGO.
I WILL BE GOING TO MIAMI FOR THE IVF ON NOVEMBER 3RD, CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND AN ACCUPUNCUTRIST IN MIAMI??? I HAVE READ SO MUCH ABOUT HOW IT HELPS THAT I WOULD WANT TO TRY IT OUT.

Thanks so much guys for your support over the last few days. The couple of friends who know about all this are great but only you guys can truly understand how emotional we can be!!

My RE put me on aygestin, which was suppose to help the cysts to go away faster than normal. It works like being on the BCP, as it stopped me from having AF, and will now get AF that I am done.

Hello ladies!

I'm bombarded with Dr. appointments these days. I'm trying to get a bunch of dental work done before my ET. I don't want to risk anything if I get PG. Also I've got to get checked out by a cardiologist, just to make sure I don't have anything serious going on (my RE heard a heart murmur the day before my ER last Aug.) Saw my PC DR. and luckily no heart murmur. It probably was just me being anxious. All that along with Acupunturist and fertility appts. sure does keep a girl busy! Today it was a BD at the clinic, an exam with PC Dr where I got another BD, then I had a dental check up and cleaning. Back to the dentist for fillings tomorrow morning. Acupunture on thursday, I get a break and on Fri and Sat (possibly acupuncture on Sat), Sun I get a US and BD. It kind of feels like work now.
