Hiya everyone,
I found this site a couple of days ago and only just had the courage to write anything down, we went through our first cycle of ivf and got a positive result than a couple of days later i started bleeding and the doctor said it would get worse before it got better, they had me in for a blood test they said my hormone level was so low that i could no longer be pregnant, i felt like id let everyone down, has anyone else gone through this?
Hi faye & welcome to this site

I am so sorry to read your news. I have just had a negative result after a frozen Embryo transfer.....IVF is so emotionally draining but if you perservere you will get there in the end.....

Was it recently you did your IVF? Do you have any embies in the freezer? Are you doing treatment again??
Sorry about all the questions...there maybe someone else on the site at the same stage as you & its always nice to have cycle buddies...

Good luck
Sarah
xx
hi faye,
sorry to hear about what you've been through. i had 2 negative ivf's so i know how devastating it when it hasn't worked, so to have a positive result followed by a negative result must be heartbreaking. i know what you mean about feeling you've let people down but in truth you definately have not let ANYONE down. the most important people right now are you and your partner. take care.
phil.
hiya sarah and phil
answers to your questions yes it was recent last weekend i started bleeding, no ive got none in the freezer they said they werent good enough, even though the two they put back were grade one the others werent up to standard, yes we are going for it again after christmas.

thanks for your reply's it's nice to know theres always someone to talk to

love faye
Hi Faye, welcome to the site, believe me you're not alone in feeling like you do. I got my 2nd negative on Fri and I just felt like I had let everyone down, especially DH, even though I know that's stupid, I imagine it must be even worse if you got a +ve to start with. It really does get better with time. I might be going again after Christmas too so we could be buddies then. Depends if I can wait that long (I'm not known for my patience!)
Take care
lots of love
Kat xx

Hi Faye

I'm new to this sight too and I have been through something similar. When i had my first frozen embryo transfer i got my period in the first week so i thought i was't pg, but still had to hand a sample in.I handed it in and went to visit my friend (we hadn't told anyone) so i phoned the hospital as part of the routine only to be told i was pregnant, it was horrible i had to explain to the nurse about getting my period i was in such a state i had to tell my friend. But i was miscarrying and had to go up and down to the hospital for weeks until the tests came back neg it was torture i had told myself i wasn't pg then to find that out, well you have to just keep trying.
We had to tell the family eventually and they were all upset, more that we went through it alone so now i tell them everything.

good luck for the next time
Helen

Hello Helen and Faye

You two have had a pretty sh!tty ride already. well you've come to the right place. There is always someone who will be able to empathise and understand what you are going through.

I had a negative on my first tmt and was devastated. After my recent second tmt I found out I was +ve. I can't imagine how I would feel if now they told me I was no longer pregnant. So for you both it must have been terrible.

I do hope you'll both have successful future goes and in the meantime you have found lots of people here to talk to and share things with.

Good luck to you both
love nikola.xx
Hi Faye, Welcome to the board. You are not alone with your feelings - I have had 3 failed IUIs, 1 ectopic, 1 m/c and a failed IVF and I felt like I have let everyone down every single time. I was absolutely gutted when IVF didn't work and can imagine how painful it must be to get a positive and then m/c.

I'm glad you have found this site - I know that I find all the girls here an invaluable support and it is good to "chat" to people who know what you are going through.

Good luck

Love

Dolly
