Well, to start, congratulations, Yogi! This is great news! It sounds like your first and second beta's nearly doubled in 48 hours and I believe that's the 'standard'. If you have any concerns, I'd definitely call your RE to be sure there's no problem.

Champa - glad to hear from you again and get an update on how you're doing. Good news that you can start again in a few months! I didn't have the shot you're talking about, but I too had to wait about 4 months (April to August) before starting my next cycle. I wish you lots of good PMA between now and then!

Wannababy - I've never heard of femtrace or metrogel....my RE must not use those med's. It's so funny how everyone is a little bit different. Do you have to do lupron or is it straight into the stims? Do you have a project ER/ET date yet?

Alicia - How are you doing? I'm thinking all positive thoughts for you right now!

Lola - How's the stim's going? Is ER still 10/31? Gosh - it seems like it's right around the corner!

I officially start lupron on Sunday and ER/ET is schedule for the week of 11/19. Until then, I'm trying best I can to keep my positive spirits. I don't know why, but I have a really good feeling about this try - much as I did with my first attempt. I never really 'felt it' on the second try, so hopefully that's a good sign!

Good luck to us all - let's pray that October and November are wonderful months for everyone!

Yogi,

I got that too and it was nothing, not to say it is nothing. I feel that you paid good money for it all, ask your questions. You also can not put a price tag on piece of mind so go in for a blood test if it would put your mind at rest. Take it easy and enjoy

Hi everyone,

Had my 13 and half week Nuchal Tranluncency Scan yesterday and both Twin 1 and Twin 2 are doing well. Twin 2 is slightly bigger than Twin 1 and they both measure just under 3 inches. Both look like real babies. And both have been given a low risk calculation which we are delighted about. I seem to be healthy too, midwife was happy with my urine test, blood pressure etc. Phew, I am so pleased we made it past this milestone...

Good luck to all the girls starting their sessions again. I have lit a candle for all of you on Sunday and am thinking of you all and sending baby dust!

Lots of love
Rittie

Hello girls!

Sugarmama ----- Welcome to our group! Image
Please let us know the details so we can add your info to our update!

Alicia! ---- Your test is tomorrow!!! Good luck, I will be thinking of you again. Something tells me this will be a big fat P. Image

Suzhan! --- How have you been? Yes, my estimated retrieval is still scheduled for Tuesday, I had an utrasound yesterday and they only saw 4 follies, but they say the other ones are not visible yet. I am going to have another one tomorrow. My estrogen is 700, which is little high, so it means there is probably more then 4 follies. So hopefully I will know more by tomorrow.
Congratulation on starting Lupron again!Image

Rittie --- good to know that everything is going well with your babies!

Sam and Champa --- good to hear from you, please keep in touch!

Mia, Wannababy --- how is your cycle going?

8) Here's to one awesome, cool BFP for you tomorrow Alicia! I too have positive thoughts - this is it!

Lola - Great to hear you've got 4 strong follies there, maybe more - great job! ER is less than a week away - woo hoo! How are you feeling with the stims? I hope all is going well for you. What did you finally decide on the flax seed/oils during stims? Did you stop them all?

Rittie - great news on the scan - sounds like you've got two very healthy babies there! Are you doing an amnio? When I was pregnant, I wasn't sure whether or not I would, but the doc's seem to make it sound like you almost have to. I'm really happy to hear your progress, it really does brighten my spirits! Thanks also for the candle - all your prayers help us!

Take care everyone,

- Suzhan

Hey girls, in addition to the hospital Nuchal Fold scan on Tuesday I went for an elective private scan yesterday and now have a DVD and 3-4D pictures of the babies. Wow, it was even more amazing than the first set of pics. And the professor yesterday was able to measure things that the hospital can only do at 20 weeks. He had further reduced the risk of any chromosom problems and checked the heart has four chambers, size of the head, length of the thigh bone, told us the sex (shhhh, this will be kept quiet to the outside world till birth). So thats it, I'm stopping any background worrying I was doing and will allow ourselves to start looking at furniture, baby clothes etc. Girls I finally feel like I can breathe a breath of fresh air and I hope you girls can think, if it worked for her (having been told high risk repeatedly because of age, PCOS, a bit overweight etc), then it will work for me!!!!

Suzhan, both the hospital and professor had recommended against any further test. I've basically been given a as good as can be at the current stage of things all clear. So we won't be proceeding with any invasive investigation. It was interesting to hear your comment that the doc made it sound like you almost had to. My experience was quite different.

Alicia - my thoughts are with you. You'll be alright babe. Let us know how you get on.

Lots of love
Rittie

Girls,
I had an ultrasound today and they saw 15 follies! ImageI am so happy. My RE was almost jumping. He said it is astonishing, how well I am responding! On Tuesday, they only saw 4, but my estrogen was high (700 on the 5th day), so they knew there will be more. I don't know yet what my estrogen is today (day 7), I am waiting for the phone call, but I am so happy that I am responding well to this new protocol. My ER will probably be on Monday  . I told you I will be happy if I make it to the ER date...So here I am, he already put me on the schedule for Monday...

Suzhan ---- thanks for asking, you are so sweet! I had stopped eating my cereal (that contained flax seed) like 5 weeks ago, I did not want to mess up my hormones. I am feeling bloated, did you feel that too last time you did injections? I definitely feel that something is happening down there... Good luck with your Lupron, how many days are you going to be on it?

Alicia --- I am waiting for the good news, you deserve this BFP so much!!!Image

Rittie --- what a great technology, you already know the sex? Why don't you tell us, we won't tell ANYONE! Please!!!! Image

Love and lots of baby dust to you all! Lola

Well, my journey to have a baby is over. My test was negative. The heartbreak hurts so much, I can hardly breathe. I wish the best for all of you and hope that you never have to feel this pain.

Dear Alicia,

this is really heartbreaking, I cannot even imagine what you must be going through now. I was hoping so much that you would bring good news to us today. Image This is so unfair. You are such a sweet and giving person and you don't deserve this at all! I truly wish I could be there with you now and help you go through this. I know it must be hard not to lose faith at this point. We will always be here for you, please keep in touch. Love always. Lola
