Congratulations BecP! So excited and happy for you and your DH! Best wishes for a GREAT pregnancy!

Allison-Just wanted to tell you that I had a lot of cramping on and off since ET. In fact on Saturday, 2 days before HCG test, I thought it was all over cause I was cramping and thought for sure AF was on her way. She didn't come and I got a BFP! So don't worry yet! I still have some cramping on and off but it is starting to fade now. My clinic said that it is normal for many people to experience this-something to do with the uterus expanding or something. Anyway, good luck!!


Time has completely stopped for me since the positive test! I have to wait for Monday (a whole week!) for another blood test to see how my HCG is! UGH! I just want to get through the first scan!!

Good luck to everyone. I am eagerly awaiting the rest of the positives!

Hi guys,

Just checking in.

Congrats BecP! I hope those numbers keep going strong!

Fellow 2ww-er's, I have had a couple little twinges down around my uterus too. My boobs are normal but I am feeling very tired. I haven't done a HPT yet as I am too scared to see only one red line.

My DH is going away on business next week and so I'll be alone when I test. I thnk I will do a HPT on sunday before he leaves which will be 14 days post EC, 12 days post ET.

I am so nervous, every time I come to this thread and see the BFP's I am scared that there will be none left for me.....silly I know.

Hey guys, my blood test is this Saturday October 28. I did another test yesterday and it said the same thing. Although if you really stare at it you can almost see a faint positive. I dont know whether I am or I'm not pregnant. This is so hard. The test I am taking at home is the ept and it measures at 50 hcg level :( :( :(

Shelton: I had my first beta on the 18th. The HPTs I used were negative until the 15th at which time I took a test where the line could only be seen when I held the test directly under a bright lamp and turned it to just the right angle. The test I took the next day (and the next) were the same way. I had my beta on the 18th and it was positive, though my HCG level was only 75. Because my beta was so low (and the numbers double every couple of days) I am actually surprised that the HPT I used picked it up at all! If you saw even the very faintest of lines - even what might appear to be an evaporation line - I'd count it as a positive test!

That makes me feel better, but I am still not getting my hopes up. I might go today and buy a test that measures at a lower level

Rachel- I think your numbers are normal... as long as they keep going up things will be good. Just try and relax and think positive!

Jen J- like I've said before I think the wait for your first scan is worse then the 2ww... hang in there girl and it will be here before you know it.

What a great week and a great month, it's just fantastic!! Looking at the BFPers list, it's really growing fast ... keep on growing!!

JenJ, Rachel, Nance, Bec - A big congratulation to you all. Wish all of you a happy and healty pregnancy.

I have been away for 2 days because I was hospitalized for 2 days due to my OHSS, just returned home today. Trying to catch up with the posting.

If fact, there is actually 4 BFPers on 24 Oct. I could not do the posting because I was kept in the hospital. My doc only gave me a urine test on 24 Oct, and it was a clear positive. As my OHSS was really bothering him, he quciky sent me to the hospital. My tummy is so bloated that my husband said I look like 7 months pregnant.

My doc said this is more or less the size until 12 weeks ... wow ... that's so uncomfortable.

The hospital give me my first blood test today, the number is 918 13dp3dt. Not sure what exactly can this number tell me ... but my doc is suspecting twins. The next test is scheduled for this Saturday (28 Oct). Hoping the number grow as it should.

I am extremely tired ... need to take some rest now ... will catch up tomorrow. :)

Ophee- Congrats on your BFP... now it's official. However, sorry to hear that you've been hospitalized for the last 2 days... hopefully your OHSS comes to an end really fast. Your number is very high... I'm guessing twins too! Well please keep us posted on your results from this weekends test. Good luck and try and get some rest.

Ophee - congratulations on your BFP! I'm so sorry about your OHSS. I've been suffering from it as well, but have been allowed to treat it at home. After a week and half, it is now starting to subside and the swelling is starting to go away. I'm now losing a pound a day instead of gaining it! The first doctor I saw last monday told me it could last 8 weeks, but I'm getting better already. I hope the same for you. Just REST, REST, REST and eat and drink what they recommend.

Big congrats on the BFP Ophee, I was really starting to worry about you after you posted the Positive HPT then didn't say anything after your test! I am sorry you are suffering from OHSS but it will get better! Those are high numbers :-) We shall see what the first scan reveals :-)

Yeah, that is so great!! ImageCongratulations and your numbers are fantastic. So sorry you had to be hospitalized. I hope you are feeling better soon. I was worried when I hadn't seen your post yet, figured no news was good news. This has been a great month of BFPs!!

Wasn't able to log in yesterday as we had to put my DK (dear kitty) to rest. ImageIt was extremely emotional for me, I've had her for 14 years. She got sick suddenly and we didn't want her to suffering any longer so was the best thing to do. My husband and I are HUGE animal lovers (still have 4 dogs, 3 cats, and a rabbit) so it hit us hard. Not to mention my hormones are probably intensifying my emotions.

Well, I hope all the rest of you are doing great and your counts are going up, up, up!!!Image

Jeck - thanks for putting me in the line-up. Your October Update looks great, it cheered me up.

Believebaby - I completely sympathise with you about your DK. I also had to have my cat put down and she was like a baby to me. She was only 5 and it broke my heart. She is now snuggled up nicely in the cat cemetery and although it was 10 years ago i still miss her :cry: Have a good cry, it always helps.

Brilliant to see so many positives, it gives me some hope. I am now on my third attempt at ivf and feel quite negative this time. I just keep praying that its third time lucky and am terrified of the 2ww, especially the second week. Any tips girls? Do you go out all the time to keep busy and how much do you rest. On the last attempts i have rested for the first week then been out and about for the second but am always terrified to go to the loo :roll:

Have been having my acupuncture and am due to have a scan tomorrow at 8.45am to see if my follies are growing nicely. Will give you an update once i get home from work.
