BFP awaiting scan

Txpacotaco- Great numbers... your well on your way to pregnancy now. Can't wait to see what your first scan shows!

Cowlgirlclass- hang in there.... hopefully they'll call you back with good news about moving your scan up. Otherwise I'll feel so bad for you sweetie... I know the waiting is so hard.

I have my first appointment w/ my new OB/GYN next week Tuesday (Oct. 31st). I just found out that they do not do scans in the office... I have to go to the hospital everytime. Bummer.... well hopefully they can squeeze me in before the end of next weekend for another scan.

Most Ob/Gyns have their own scans these days. I almost find that odd. Oh well. I am not sure which OB/GYN I plan to use yet, I guess that would be a good question to ask.

I am waiting for the IVF clinic to return my call to see if they can move it up.

Yogi- welcome to this side of the board... Congrats on your BFP. Your numbers look great... your well on your way now. The wait for your 1st scan is going to drag so much so try and keep busy. Good Luck!

jeck - thanks for the updated board!!! my 15dp5dt was 2700 and my first scan is november 13 (which seems like a very long time to wait to see how many i've got in there!)

Jeck - Thanks for the update.

I went in for my 2nd BETA this morning and am waiting for my results. I am a wreck. Please keep your fingers crossed that they went up.

Brit10 - Wow, your numbers look great. That does seem like a long time. My RE said that once my HCG reaches 1500 (God willing) they will do my first scan.

Yogi - Welcome aboard and congratulations. Your #'s look fantastic.

Cowgirl - Were they able to move up your scan.

Brit10 those are great numbers. My numbers too are high and I am anxious to see how many we have on board.

Jeck will have to start updating the list with twins and singletons

I had to wait over two weeks for my first scan also!

Nance I hope everything goes well for you today and those numbers skyrocket as you baby settles in! No they didn't move up my scan but my boss decided not to send anyone so I am okay! Thank goodness! Waiting another week would have killed me

cowgirl - I can't believe I've got over two weeks until my scan. My numbers are so high - yet the doctor thought he only saw the one on the scan last week, but he wasn't sure and it was just so early. Maybe I'm secretly hoping it's two, though I know how much harder that will be.

Since your numbers are high too and your scan is much sooner, I'll have to live vicariously through you!

Trust me it will be a very long couple of weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My doctor too told me a good chance of twins but tuesday will tell. My husband is hoping for twins. I would rather just have one healthy one but I will take what the lord blesses me with and be thankful.

Well, I heard back and my HCG went up to 242 11dp5dt from 79 8dp5dt. I feel so much better now. I have to go back Monday for another test.

Cowgirl - Thank goodness you do not have to wait an additional week.

I've been glued to the tv for the last half hour. "Bringing Home Baby" is on TLC and it's about a couple and their twin newborns. There's been alot of complaining (especially by the dad). Watching this scared me. REALLY scared me.

I watched that last week!!!! I was so hoping to relesh the experience this time, because I had my other children when I was young. I was looking forward to a natural birth, breast feeding longer and all that stuff. Now I feel as though those things may not be possible if I am pregnant with twins. But on the other hand I think that they will have each other growing up. We live on a farm so there are no neighbors to speak of. My husband and I are older 37 and 42, so they will also have each other if something happens to us.

So I am a firm believe things happen for a reason.

Nance I am very happy for you that your numbers are rising nicely! It makes me wish my doc had done a third HCG a few days later.
