Tasha, Brit, Cowgirl, Aimee, Jill - Thank you gals for the nice words and wishes. I was thinking how I can update you gals when they sent me to hospital ... I was so excited that I really wanted to share the news with you ... but no way I can get on the net from that hospital.

After gaining 2 pounds a day for the past few days, the weight gain seems to stop ... not sure if this is good or bad sign. The OHSS is really causing so much discomfort. My doc had asked me to drink something with sodium and eat food with high protein ... may be that's why they put me on sodium chloride drip while I was in the hospital.

Well! I am out now ... but can't be sitting for long as the bloated tummy really bother me. Brit, I hope that you are right that it will go soon ... my doc told me it could last till 12 weeks ... wow! And it's very nice to hear that you are feeling better from your OHSS.

Aimee, I am so sorry about your DK. I am an animal lover too, it's always hard when we have to see our DP (dear pet) leaving us. In this case, it's better for it to rest than to hang in there. Take care!!! :)

It's really a great month for BFPers ... I am sure the rest of the October buddies pending for a test will be giving us more good news. I am so happy to be part of this group ... it really cheer me up so much!!

Baby dust to all!!

Cheers,
Ophee

Ophee - it's definitely good news that the weight gain has stopped. They told me the same thing about the sodium and the protein and it really does work. My dh made me lots of chicken broth, bacon and even some steaks! I also craved string cheese for some reason!

My OHSS is now reversing and I'm losing weight everyday - I'm 2 pounds lighter this morning!!

Congrats Xrayem!!!! I too broke down and did a HPT test abotu 8 days after and it came back positive and my blood work was a positive. :-) I have heard false negatives are common but not false positives! The rest of your 2ww should be smooth sailing! :-)

CONGRATS EM!
Hope your OHSS goes away soon!
Well Jill it's all up to you now. I have taken 2 HPT's both -ive but they say I still have to come in tomorrow to finish the blood work because of this study I participated in. So I thought this was really going to work, felt so different this time but it wasn't meant to be.

I hope all you ladies have wonderful healthy pregnancies. We have lots frozen but I can't imagine going thru this roller coaster again. It just doesn't seem worth the pain. But you never know, time heals all wounds they say. Maybe later I won't remember how bad this feels!

Good luck and bye for now!

My heart goes out to you, but please keep your faith with you! The blood tests are more sensitive than the HPT's and you might just have a late bloomer. I will keep an eye out for you! Sending lots of love and a little faith (believe it or not, my cousins named their daughter that!).

Hi girls,

Just back from work so its a quicky.

So have 9 follies and 5 nice biggies but hopefully more will grow over the weekend. Am a bit disappointed as there was a better response last cycle but hey, what can i do. Just got to pray they grow and there is an egg in each one. Last cycle we got 8 whoppers and 7 fertilized, dont think i will be so lucky this time but still hanging in there for a miracle

So EC is on Monday and ET on Wednesday.

Picture this, nurse is rushing around, acu is full (with lots of oldies, which made me feel better), Jen with her legs in stirrups (nails and toes done and legs shaved of course), then i'm being the nurses PA and noting down the size of my follies  . Had to be seen to be appreciated, must have looked a right dafty.

Great to see there are so many bfp, hope ther is space for mine
