Thank you for all the support and words of encouragement ahead of my apppointment this week. Think that the date on the list should read 31st rather than 30th as my appointment is on Tuesday. Not long now......
Aunty - you are so right. Seems ages ago that dh and I agreed that we wanted to try ahead of Xmas if at all possible. Been a long year!!! Normally I can get to see my consultant within about 2 weeks. This time it was nearer a 5 week wait. As you say I cannot believe that it is now only two days to wait. Now I am starting to get nervous as despite the fact that we are paying, it feels like these guys have our lives in their hands. If they don't want us to cycle then there is no other way to make our dreams come true. Hope that you are doing well and that the diet is not too hard for you. It will be so worth it!! Really hope that AF shows for you soon. She is never there when you want her is she
Becky - Was thinking of you too. IT WAS SO EXCITING. I loved it. Cannot wait for each Saturday to come around. I have no idea what I shall do when it finishes for the year!!!!!!! I watched some on Xtra Factor II afterwards. Would have been so funny to see a text pop up!!!! Loved Ray so got into a bit of voting action for him as he was 1st up and was scared that people would think that he would be safe. Totally agree - Thought that Ben (your fav) was v cool and so was Leona. I have done a little Xmas shopping already too. I am a sad cow and like to get super organised. Bought cards and paper at a girl friends house a few weeks ago - she does it to make a little cash on the side.
Rachel - From one X-Factor junkie to another X-Factor junkie!!! I love Abba too but when they have done before it makes you realise how dam hard Abba songs are to sing! Really hope that the hospital will let you get going soon too. I may do a FET rather than a Fresh cycle if it is more feasible to fit that in ahead of Xmas.
Becleo - triplets in the family already. How fab. Must be a sign!!!!
We both have appoinments on Tuesday so will keep my fingers crossed that we both are able to make a good plan on Tuesday. I might end up doing a FEt with you - never know!?Angie - Thanks for thinking of me. I am sorry that you have to wait longer. The waiting drives me around the twist. It does sound like you are recovering well though which is v important. I may end up FETting with you as not sure that we will have time to do a fresh cycle pre-Xmas. Hopefully I'll know after Tuesday??? Will let you all know as soon as I get home after the apppointment!!!
Vickie - nice to hear from you. Wondering where you were!? We all need time out though to carry on rather than getting taken over completely by ivf/iui etc etc I am looking forward to Xmas too. I'll be able to make better plans after Turesday hopefully as we will know what we will be doing

Hope that everyone else is having a great weekend. I have been so busy. Went to see Keane with my dh on Thursday. They were cool & we were right at the front too. First gig we have ever been to together - different tastes!!! Support act Captain were v good too. Then I have a (v small) share in a race horse which run for the first time this season at Wetherby on Friday. 4th of 5. Not great. No complaints as he won 5 times last season which was such fab fun. But it was a 400 mile round trip. Out late Friday with a friend who I used to work with who now lives in Paris. She has done ivf 4 times. 3 -ves and 1 eptopic. She has started the adoption process but is considering tmt again. She is so brave and strong. I found it really inspiring to talk to her. Then yesterday took my 12 year old niece shopping on Oxford St. She needed a party outfit which we managed to get. It was so pretty on her and her Mum approved too. So good outcome. So was shattered with all this going on plus X Factor!!! Have sacked out today other than getting the grocery shopping in.
