Hello all - I am new here - our doctor told us yesterday that "the only way to conceive another child is IVF". I'm a little stunned - but I think we are going to try IVF in January. Don't know much about it - which is why I'm here!

Hi Claire's mum,

You have come to the right place! The ladies on this site are wonderful and full of support and knowlege. I too will be doing my first IVF treatment in Jan and I as well have a 6 year old son that I had naturally. If you come over to the General Forum, there is a December/January thread for women that will going through the process at the same time as we are. I find it helpful to have someone on the same page with me. Welcome aboard and I am wishing you a BFP!

Welcome. DR told me that word too... Only is not 'another child' but 'a child'. I was stunned too... I got a lot of supports here. Im hoping you the same. Take care n CU in general forum. GBU
