Hello chickadees!

Wow! I've been away for a few days, and so much good news has happened to many of you! It's so exciting and promising to hear all of your good news...

Gina--Congrats on the twins! You got twice the bang for your buck! :) My husband is secretly wishing for twins....so we don't have to go through this again. :P

Tasha--Just curious...what's Crinone? I'm on a ton of drugs, but not that one.

I did get my 2nd beta results back...1, 110! Yikes! I asked the nurse if this means I might be carrying multiple buns in my oven...she said there's a chance. Has anyone ever had a number that high? My test was on day 18...not sure if that made it higher too? I was told not to worry, but I can't help but wonder if my little beans did some splitting...I really can't imagine having a litter! But, I would love it if it were twins!

Has anyone had trouble with bruising from your progestrone shots? I didn't at first, but this past week and half some bruising started. Any advice?

Becca--Good luck with your scan! Try to enjoy this time and not stress too much!

Yawn,
Kim

Hi Kim-

Crinone is a form of Progesterone my fertility doctor had me on... it's a cream you insert vaginally. I'm on that along with my shots. However, only 7 more shots for me.... I'm so excited!

Hope your all having a great Monday!

Well ladies,

I've been MIA for the last week or so and it looks like everyone is getting great news and headed in the right direction.

We went today for first scan and there were 2 sacs but one is collapsing so it looks like one little angel for us. We did get to see the heartbeat. This all makes it so real!!! I feel so much better now.

Keep updating everyone.

Rachel- glad to hear from you... you must be so excited about your scan. Sorry to hear about your one little sac collasping, but at least you still have one strong little baby in there. Please keep us posted.

We go for our 2nd scan this Wednesday night... I can't wait. I had a little bit of spotting (brownish in color), but I guess this is normal around this time... thank goodness.

Good luck on your second scan Tasha. I had spotting with my first pregnancy and everything turned out normal. I know that doesn't ease the worrying but I am sure your fine.

You will feel better after Wed.

hi there everyone, we are ok here.... got the bloods back and my progesterone dropped, but that said that it was still in the "normal" zone. Just worried, because i have had some spotting on and off for the last few weeks... it seems like every day i check expecting the worse. We have my first "official" OB appointment on Friday and he's going to do a scan then just to make sure all is ok... So just holding out until Friday!!

Tasha- good luck on your scan tomorrow, how did you blood work come out?? all ok?? did you start to work out?? I'm afraid to start up again, afraid to do a lot of things with the spotting and all... I think that i just need to get to the 2nd tri.. hopfully the spotting will stop and the placenta will take over the projesterone..

rachel- i'm soory about the one sac collapsing, but it's great that there is one strong little one!!!

Colleen- glad to hear that your levels are all ok... I'm sure you'll be on pins and needles until Friday.

I actually didn't go for my bloodwork yet... I might go in tomorrow morning. Actually I haven't started to workout since I too had some spotting this past weekend (so I kind of freaked out). However, mine was brownish in color and my doctor said that is normal around this time because the uterus is growing and expanding which causes some cramping & spotting. However, I'm still scared to start working out... maybe I'll go on Thursday once I know my scan went ok.

Colleen- Our scan went great last night... the baby has grown so much and the heartbeat has increased from 120 to 160BPM. I was measuring at 9 weeks 3 days, which is right on target. All of the major organs were there and working just fine. We also got to hear the heartbeat this time... that was so amazing. I'm so happy this scan went so well especially after I had a little bit of spotting this past weekend. I also went in for my blood work this morning so I should get the results back either later today or tomorrow morning. We're well on our way now.....

Hope all of you girls are having a great day! :D

Hi gals!

Tasha, I'm glad your scan went well! That's got to be so exciting...I can't wait to hear that heartbeat.

I actually had my first scan on Tuesday. I was 5 1/2 weeks. We could see one fetal sack...and POSSIBLY a second! I guess some shadows were making it uncertain. We'll get another scan next week and should know more then.

Hope everyone's doing well!

Hi ladies
Glad the scans are going well!
I feel so sick. Luckily I'm not at work at the moment so am staying in bed most of the day. I dread going into the kitchen because the smells make me retch. Anyone got on tips on how to cope with the dreaded morning sickness?
Got our scan in 4 days. I'm counting down the hours!!!
Take care all

Kim- that's great news about your scan... I'm sure your counting down the days until your next scan. Good luck...

Bec- Sorry to hear your not feeling well. I too had several bouts of morning sickness and the only thing that seemed to help me was Root Beer. Someone told me that Root Beer has ginger in it which for some reason helps morning sickness. Maybe give it a try...

Hope all you have a great day!

Tasha= great news on the scan, and hope the bloods came back ok too.. When are you in to the Dr. next.?

kim- good luck on your scan next week.... it will be here sooner then it seems, really!!

hi all.... Bec and gina- for the morning sickness i have heard that eating or sucking on a jellybean helps... sorry to you all that feel sick, fortunatially i do not have any sickness. There are times that i really have no signs or symptoms.. and that in itself makes me worry!!

But we had our 1st OB appointment, all went well, and measured well, and we got a quick scan... the baby looked great and the heartbeat was awesome to see, a relief everytime i see it.. it's amazing to see our little bean growing. we now have to wait 3 weeks for the next appointment.... yeikes it's going to feel like forever!!!!!!!

take care all!!
