October buddies??

Hi Ladies,how is everyone,sorry ive been MIA,ive had an eye infection and tonsilitis,so felt bloody awful for a week,trying hard to get well for ER,as i figure if im unwell it wont bode well for implantation..

My question is this..Ive noticed a few ladies (here and other threads)saying they felt their ovarys "full and bloated" well,me i dont feel a thing and ive been stimming for 4 days now,ive also never noticed this feeling on any of my cycles,do you think this means anything??

Gina,Nance..i cant congratulate you enough on your twins,that is marvellous news..xx

Jen1d,the 2ww is awful but so worth it if we get our wish,this time im loading up on all the books i wana read and staying put for at least the first week,i'll probably be climbing the walls with boredom,but i need to see if this makes a dif to my outcome...

Charity,im glad you got a new plan,its always so much easier when we know what will be happening,gives us a purpose i always think..

Racheal,glad you saw your beanies haertbeat,what a feeling that must have been..

Jeck,how are you,hope all is well with you and DH..

To anyone ive missed (and i know its a few!!) please accept my apologies,my thoughts are with you all,and praying we all have healthy babies real soon..

Hi Nicola

Everyone is different and feels different things. All three of my cycles have been so different and i only ever feel a tiny bit of sensation in my right ovary just a day or 2 before EC. This is the side that i seem to get most of my eggs from. Don't worry about it, noone is the same and as long as you get the eggs you want i wouldn't look in to it too much

Have you been given any dates for your next scan yet? Mine is always on day 8 after first day of stimming. Is that the same as yours? Keep us informed so we can be rooting for you.

So i still feel the same. Am not worried about going to the loo just yet but that usually starts around the 7 day mark. I have only felt a few wee shooting twinges but nothing else. As i said above both my other cycles were so different. The 1st one i felt nothing on the 2ww and the 2nd one i felt loads so my motto is "Chill and Wait to the End of the 2ww" ha ha.

Wish i ould listen to my own advice, its usually all over for us 3 days before

Jen1d...Thanks for the reply,yes im the same as you my next scan and bw is day 8 which for me is Wednesday,cant wait to see whats happening in there..Same goes for me,my previous 3 times its all been over 3days before pg test...Cant take my own advice bit do try to take it easy!!!

Ive got such high hopes that this time it'll work..I live in constant hope..

Hey ladies, I had my second scan on Saturday (4 Nov). We can see 2 in there ... it's twins. My DH and I were very excited ... still very excited. Really hope that both stay with me ... my RE has added the daily PIO for me.

That's why my beta HCG were so high. 918 on 13dp3dt, 3,444 on 15 dp3dt, and 17,014 on 19dp3dt.

Nictor!!! Hey Girl, with my 1st IVF I didn't have that full feeling until right before collection... With my 2nd one I had that full feeling right away... I think each cycle is different... Remember it just takes 1 little fighter for it to work!!! Good Luck!!! Do you have an estimated date for retrieval??? Keep us updated!!!

Jen1d--How are you doing??? Are you feeling a little better about things??? Hope you had a wonderful weekend and relaxed!!! Hope you are being spoiled rotten!!!

jenn--So glad you had a nice night out with DH, that does the trick sometimes doesn't it!! I can't wait for your next cycle, I just know it is going to be so much better!!!! I know you self pay and its hard to go thru it again but I know that your RE knows so much more about you since you went thru a cycle and has a better understanding of how your body is going to react.... To bad they don't offer free trail runs so the can tell how your body is react to the meds!!!

JenJ--Thinking of you today!!! Can't wait to hear your beta numbers!!!

Charity--It is so good to read you again!!! I am so glad you are doing another cycle and hopefully this one will totally turn out different and be the one!!!

Thanks girls, am feeling fine although a bit tired and keep getting a sore back just before i get out of bed, don't know if this means anything though.
Have had quite a few visitors, so they are keeping me distracted.

Great news about all our bfp's and twins. Hope this run of luck continues for us all.

Jen1d- how's it going? Hope your wait is going ok, I'm glad you had visitors that helps pass the time! Do you have DVD's, cards to play, gossip magazines to read? Things to pass the time? Are you on bed rest? Is that enough questions for you?

JenJ- haven't heard anything today, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Jeck- Hey! I hope you and Dh are doing well! I'm always glad to hear from you! I'm excited about a new cycle too. The Dr. seems excited about a new plan as well. Part of me can't wait to start again, but there is always a little part of me that hopes for a natural pg while I take a break. If I knew for sure it would happen naturally I would wait as long as I had to! I need a crystal ball...anyone got one I could borrow?

This is the only crystal ball I could find!! Hope it helps!! LOL!! I know what you mean it would be great to get preggers naturally and it has happen to people on this board. Jacko21 from the sept hopes and dreams thread had a mc with her 1st IVF and I don't think she really had a proper period after that and when she went for her blood work to start downregging for her 2nd go she found out she was preggers!! She is now 13-14 wks along and doing great!!! So miracles can happen!!! Never give up HOPE!!!

Hello All! Thanks for your well wishes!

I had my 3rd HCG this morning and it was 26698 at 26dp3dt! I was SO relieved as I was so worried this whole weekend due to the cramps and spotting that I had had. So far so good! Wednesday is our first scan and I can't wait!!!

WOW even more twins, June/July 2007 is going to be a busy month!

Charity - good to see you back. Best wishes to you and DH in January.

As for me, my first scan is a week today. The wait is killing me. I'm having twinges on my left hand side, so rang up, panicing I had an ectopic. They told me to calm down and said that the progesterone relaxes your muscles and ligaments around your uterus, to prepare for it's growth. I'm hoping that's what my twinges are!! Just want to see that heartbeat then try and enjoy it.

Jen J- that's great news about your numbers... I'm sure it put your mind at ease. Also good luck at your scan tomorrow... can't wait to hear the good news. Please keep us posted as soon as you can.

As for me things are going well. We have our 2nd scan tomorrow night.... I can't wait to see how much the little one has grown since last time. I did have a little bit of brownish spotting over the weekend, but I guess this is normal as my uterus is growing. What a scare...

Thanks thook! Yes I was feeling a lot better about things after yesterday's numbers. I hear you about the spotting-I was so scared on Friday when I had mine. You just don't want to see that! However, the doctor told me that brown is no problem-old blood not signaling a current problem. I hope that puts your mind at ease somewhat. My spotting was red and a little brown (sorry TMI I know!). Anyway, red blood is a cause for more concern, according to my doc, as this means that there could be something bleeding. Fortunately, mine was not heavy and some red spotting is considered normal too I guess. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that brown is good-you're right, your uterus is expanding and lots is happening in there! Good luck with your scan tomorrow!!
