wisconsingal- I had a canceled cycle early and was devastated, I cannot imagine what you are going through. I agree with the other posts, you need to get an answer from your doctor, there must be a reason. Hopefully you are able to financially try again at some point.

Hey ladies--

I had my us and bw this morning. My nurse called to tell me that we are going to continue stims and I need to go back on Saturday. I guess that is promising. I'm hoping that if all goes well on Saturday, we will be talking trigger shots for a Monday retrieval. While I have no medical background, I did noticed that the line that appears on the uterus was darker and my follicles appeared larger. I feel a bit more hopeful, but guarded as it could be cancelled when I go back.

i guess the other 3 don't look that good that's why they are not doing a 5-day transfer. They want to look at them for one more day to decide if they can freeze them or not.

HI Everyone,

Took me a while to get through all the posts and I don't have a lot of time, but wanted to update. Of the 17 that fertilized, we had a 9 cell, 4-8 cell's although one was only a grade 3 (want 1-2), 2 7 cell's, 2 6 cell's, and 4 4-cell's that didn't look the greatest. Also, one didn't divide and 2 were barely dividing and said they'd toss. So, we transferred 4 in on Monday (3 day transfer). I found out yesterday of all those, only one had made it to a blast to freeze. They were going to call me today to see if anymore would make it, but I'm not hopefull. It just drives me crazy to have so many emby's and only have 1 to freeze. But, I guess the quality needs to be there. My clinic only freezes ones that make it to blasts. Oh well, I have one other frozen, so I will at least have 2 for a FET if this doesn't work. I test 11/14 and 11/16, but I may need to do a third since my last HCG shot is 11/13 and will have false positives.

Can't remember who asked, but HCG shot's can possibly keep the uterus viable to help with implantation. They couldn't do the whole amount they usually do since my estrogen level was so high, but figured it couldn't hurt.

after so much panicking had et today and they got ten eggs. yipppeeeee
and Dh sperm thawed . so sore but pleased.
kept myself awake during so i could watch it on the tv. really amazing to watch.
still havent gone to sleep yet, must be immune to drugs.
waiting for phone call now. fingers crossed.

What do you guys think? When the DR called to tell me how many of my eggs fertilized they told me that I will be coming in on Sunday for a 5 day transfer. I asked do you think they will make it? They said yes if there is any emergency they would call early Friday morning for a 3 day transfer. I am so nervous that they are going to call me in the morning. They are supposed to call in the afternoon to go over et instructions with me. Do you think they would give me false hope of a 5 day transfer? If something was going south with the eggs do you think they would have called me today. I am worried because my DH goes to work and works 1 1/2 hrs from our house. The clinic is 30 mins away. I don't know what to think.

hello! hope you all are having a good thursday.

Today I had ET and I'm happy to say that all 3 survived the thaw! My RE says they we're all healthy, only one was a little small. He says there is a small chance of triplets, but does not think it will happen. My ultrasound looked totally different this time as opposed to my fresh cycle. I hope it's a good thing. I have a much thicker linning and this time my uterus was not tilted! Last time the RE had to tilt my uterus down to insert the catheter. Maybe cause I drank more fluids this time. PG test is on 11/19!


I'm on bed rest so I'm having a hard time writting this. I'll have to catch up later. I'll get another update to you asap. I know I've got to add the newbies on. If you would PM your latest info to me that would make it easy, instead weeding throgh the last 5 pages. Sorry I'm so behind on my reading. Thanks!!

Kristen, Do you have a car or someone else that can drive you, just in case? Don't worry, I'm sure your clinic will do what is best. I think you still have a good chance regardless if the transfer is 3 day or 5 day. Chances are your embies will make to day 5. Everything will be OK.

Vicky, I gained close to 10 lbs when I stimmed. That was back in aug. and the weight is still here. Can't say I did much about it. Just a little walking. Yard work feels like a workout too. You're belly does expand alot due to oversized ovaries. They say it takes about 3 months for them to shrink to normal.
This cycle, I started bloating as soon as I started PIO shots. Got constipated too (sorry TMI), but acupuncture fixed that.
Oh! the wait is torture. The best thing to do is to keep busy as possible, with distracting projects.
