Yogi,

I am praying hard for you. I will send a special prayer for your little one. I know how very scary this is, since I went through this several times during both of my full-term pregnancies. Once you see the little heartbeat today, you will be immensely relieved! Good luck today!

Yogi- you are in my thoughts and prayers today... Please let us know what the outcome is as soon as you can. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it is nothing serious.

Yogi, you are in my prayer. I am sure everything will turn out fine. Please keep us posted.

Ladies, I went to my doctor today and he gave me my 3rd scan. Please hold on tight before you continue reading this. The doctor just wanted to make sure both the beanies are doing good. Instead of 2 beanies, we saw 3 beanies!!! We were in shock!! My doctor couldn't believe what he saw, and mummered 'I remembered I transferred only 3 embies, and their were in just OK quality?'.

The doctor is now hoping that one of the beanie does not continue to grow, otherwise, we will have to make a very tough decision!! :?

Can you believe that??? I can't believed that myself ... triplets ... GEEE!!!

Yes, I was laying down ... otherwise ...

Tasha, if all 3 of them grow well, my doctor would recommended a selective reduction. It's going to be very very tough!!! :?

Yogi, I can definately understand your fear. I am just coming off of bed rest since I has major cramping and bleeding two days ago. I went in for an ultrasound and was told that it could be a m/c or I could have torn something and that would account for the bleeding. Thankfully about one hour after leaving the doctors office the cramping and bleeding stopped. I now have to remain calm and quiet until the next ultrasound next Wednesday. My prayers are with you!!
Ophee, I can only imagine your shock when you heard triplets. I can only imagine how difficult of a decision you may have to make. You are in my thoughts and prayers!!

OH MY GOSH! I can not imagine triplets! May God be with you! :-) I hope your body is able to make the decision to how much it can handle, so you don't have to. I think that would definately be the hardest decision in my life.

Good Luck Ophee!

Yogi, I hope you and your beanie are well!

Jstrandlund - Thank goodness the cramping and bleeding stopped. I'll say a prayer that everything turns out ok. Take it really easy over the next few days.

Ophee - Oh my! Wow you must have been shocked. I am sure you and your Dr. will decide to do what is best for you and your beanies. This is a very difficult decision but whatever one you make will be the right one.

Yogi - You poor thing. You must be so scared. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know how you are doing.

As for me I had some bad cramping this morning (no bleeding) once I got to work. I called my Dr and they had me come home to rest, take two tylenol and drink lots of water. They pushed up my ultrasound from Tuesday to Monday. They said to call back if it got worse or if I started bleeding. So far I am feeling a little bit better so I think everything is ok.

I hope everyone is doing well.

All my best,
Nance

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have to make this quick, I am at work and swamped <ugh>!

I just wanted to report back regarding my scan on Weds. of this week. I wish I could say that it went great but to our disbelief, the doctor couldn't see the heartbeat. He said he was concerned and sent me to the lab for more b/w since I hadn't had it tested for over a week. I had to wait till yesterday for him to call me with the news which thankfully was promising.

My counts went from 17,551 to over 55,000 in 8 days. He said that everything sounds like it's fine and told us he wants me to come back on Monday for another u/s. He said we should be able to see it then. I'm just really worried and even though the counts sound great, I won't be able to relax until I see that heartbeat. Sooo, I worry and wait hoping we will get some good news when we go back.

Not exactly what I was expecting but this process is full of surprises (good and bad). I'll check back later but just wanted to say "hello" and hope you are all doing fabulous!!

Yogi, I am so glad everyting is okay! I hope you can relax now.

Believeebaby, I have heard your story several times and everything was okay. There are so many factors that play in, equipment, who is doing the scanning, what week you are in and the list goes on and on. You said they did not see a hb but the seen the distinctive embro? Your numbers going up is a definate +. How many weeks are you today?

I pray things will go well at your next visit and then you can relax :-)

Take care all,
Cowgirl

Thanks CG, I'm trying to stay as positive as I can but there is the defense mechanism inside all of us I think that tries to prepare us for not so good news. I feel the numbers were really something to help me stay upbeat about it and the sac and baby were much larger than the last scan so that is also a good sign. I was 6 weeks 3 days when we did the scan so we probably should have seen it but I think you are right. There are a number of factors that could affect the outcome. We're definitely praying that Monday we will get to see it. Thanks for your positive words!
