Lola - How are you doing? I can't believe that it is almost time for you to test. You are almost there - yay! Please stay relaxed and try not to will the time away (it'll just make it go slower ).

Suzhan - Please try not to let yourself get so stressed, keep thinking of happy thoughts. I am so happy that you have started stims. It seems like it was just yesterday you were waiting for AF to arrive.

Wannababy - Good luck with your bloodtest tomorrow. I hope they don't cancel your cycle but if they do, it's better to do it now rather than go through everything and then not have it work anyway.

Alicia - I hope you are doing well.

Lola - Only two more days now! I am continuing to keep sending lots of positive thoughts your direction!

Wannababy - Best of luck at the RE today. I hope things go much better. Oh, and IUI is interuterine insemination. I've heard at times they convert the cycle if they don't think they can harvest/fertilize enough eggs but there are still more than a natural cycle. There's a lady right now on the general forum board with a bfp from IUI....so it's possible. Plus, who knows, I understand that with the flare protocol, you can have a last-minute uptake in the number of follicles, so maybe you'll be back on track! Your RE will definitely know better than I, but I just wanted you to keep up hope! We're all rooting for you today!

Myhb - lovely to hear from you. And I know you're absolutely right - yesterday was a better day - no more getting up at 430 in the morning today. I tried to really rest all day, even though I did have to go to work. How are you doing? Keep us posted on your plans.

I got through my 'bum shot' last night of the repronex. DH is out of town, so I had to do it myself. It was so simple - I was worried for nothing. Even though the needle is as long as the PIO, it must be much skinnier because I didn't even feel it like that darn PIO needle. And, Wannababy, I have no idea why I get stims in the bum - I know I've not seen anyone else on this board do it that way, but my RE does. In my first cycle, I got a bfp that way (putting both gonal-f and repronex in one syringe and injecting in the bum). In my second cycle, the gonal-f was a belly shot the whole way and I had the sky high E-2 and had to be coasted - they think that was one of my problems in cycle 2. So, this time, I'm back to the bum shots for both starting tomorrow. Maybe that will help. It is so odd that so many of us have such different protocol experiences --- hopefully it just means our REs understand our unique needs and have customized our program to help us be most successful!

Lola- How are you feeling physically? Any symptoms? Hang in there.

Suzhan- thanks for the info about IUI. Good luck with stimming in the booty! While I can do tummy shots with ease, I would probably freak if I had to self-administer booty shots. Hooray for you!

Myhb--How are you? Have you thought about doing another attempt anytime soon? Keep us posted! You are still very much a part of our group!

I had my us and bw this morning. My nurse called to tell me that we are going to continue stims and I need to go back on Saturday. I guess that is promising. I'm hoping that if all goes well on Saturday, we will be talking trigger shots for a Monday retrieval. While I have no medical background, I did noticed that the line that appears on the uterus was darker and my follicles appeared larger. I feel a bit more hopeful, but guarded as it could be cancelled when I go back.

Myhb ---- good to hear from you and thanks for the encouragment. I try to stay calm. It is almost here ! I rather prepared myself for BFN and I will be really happy if it is BFP. I have no symptoms reallu, except sore boobs and big rash from progesterone, but I guess that's all individual.

Mia --- I hope everything went well today and now the 2ww is in front of you. Hope your days will go by fast!!

Suzhan --- those shots in the booty --- my husband wanted to do it there and I could not do it. I felt like I have no control of him. You are such a trooper!

Today I had ET and I'm happy to say that all 3 survived the thaw! My RE says they we're all healthy, only one was a little small. He says there is a small chance of triplets, but does not think it will happen. My ultrasound looked totally different this time as opposed to my fresh cycle. I hope it's a good thing. I have a much thicker linning and this time my uterus was not tilted! Last time the RE had to tilt my uterus down to insert the catheter. Maybe cause I drank more fluids this time. PG test is on 11/19!

That sounds like good news. I have heard that when you are not successful with regular, frozen may give you the best odds. I feel it!!

Lola--My first major sign that I was pregnant in my 2WW is sore boobs. Good sign to me!

My pregnancy is going along just fine. I have every sypmtom possible and everything that can make it diffucult has happened. Nothing with the baby but with me. I have heard that means it is probably a girl as they have so many hormones and want to make there mothers crazy. I have sore boobs (huge), my back is so sore that it is difficult to walk, my foot is in tons of pain that I limp, yeast infection, body hair, head hair falling out, etc. Thank god my husband thinks I am beautiful. I swear it must be the hormones originally in my body. Anyhow, all worth it!! Just wanted to enlighten you on the fun you are all about to embark

I find out the sex in three weeks, yikes!! I can not wait!

Some bad news......my husbands sperm count has now dropped to zero! I am so sad and not sure what that means. We have one frozen sperm sample but as I see it we have only one chance through IVF to have a second. Nerve racking as I have always envisioned a big family and a lot of pressure on the next cycle. At the same time, I am blessed with this one and I got pregnant on the first round this time.

Take care and I read all of your posts daily to make sure you are all getting pregnant so we can moan and groan together. Can't wait for our first play group with each others little ones

Sam --- I cannot believe you will know the gender already. It seems to be going so fast. Thanks for sharing all the PG symtoms with us. Now we have a better idea of what's ahead of us all. Sorry to hear about your husband count. I hope you will have a chance to have one more! We want at least two as well.

Mia --- I am happy for you, all three survived the thawing and now they're in your belly, where they belong. Have a happy 2ww! I had 3 embies transferred as well. They also told me that the chance of having triplets is less then 1%.

Wannababy --- I was told that my sore breasts are from the progesterone I have been taking, so I don't want to be too happy about it. Actually I am happy to have fuller boobies..... I am also kinda bloated all the time, but that may be the hormones as well. I feel even more bloated then before the retrieval. My horrible rash/pimples are going away, thank god. I really had a hormonal rollercoaster on this 2ww. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow, I hope everything will go well and you will take your trigger shot for Monday!

Suzhan --- thank you so much for your positive thoughts! Now I know what you guys have gone through before. It is for the first time for me. I even had a dream about my test last night. I don't know what to expect. I just prepared myself for both alternatives! Do you already have an estimated day of your retrieval?

I have one test tomorrow and another on Tuesday, so I will stay at my mother in law's house till Tuesday. She told me that she could not turn on my laptop last night, so I hope I can get it fixed and let you guys know when I find out my result tomorrow afternoon. Thank you all for wishing me luck! Well ladies, I got the ok to do the trigger shot tonight I'm waiting for my nurse to call with a time. My retrieval will be on Monday. I was told that I had 16 follicles. Can you believe it?

Mia - Yep, we're both doing the bum shots. Although, DH is back. In all honestly, I think I did it better myself, but I think he likes being part of the process, so he's back in charge of the needles. (I couldn't tell him....)

Sam - glad to hear you're doing well with the pregancy. I was sry to hear about DH, but thank goodness you have some frosties. I wish you the best!

Wannababy - I can't believe you did your trigger shot already and will have your ER on Monday. It seems as if time flies at certain points and crawls at others. Congrats with the 16 follicles. Best of luck tomorrow, let us know how it went (when you are feeling up to it).

Mia - Glad to hear that all three embies survived the thaw and that they are all healthy. I hope the thicker lining and your uterus not being tilted makes you get a nice BFP. I know this is hard but try to relax during the 2ww, just think of nice calming and happy thoughts.

Sam - Good to hear that your pregnancy is progressing along nicely although I am sorry to hear that you are having a hard time with it. I can't believe that you find out the sex in three weeks - how exciting. I am sorry to hear about your DH's sperm count. Don't give up hope because I have heard of procedures where they can actually extract some sperm (enough for IVF).

Suzhan - Congrats on starting stims. I have never heard of stim shots in the bum but if that is what worked the first time you got a BFP, then that is all that matters.

Lola - I hope you are enjoying the time at your mother-in-law's. I am anxiously awaiting to hear your news. I am sure we are not helping with all of this pressure but we care about you and want the best.

Lolaaaaaaaa! This is torture..... OK I'll leave you alone now.

Hi everyone! I'm feeling pretty good. Off bed rest now. this whole time I've been just laying around waiting for a symptom or a sign or something. felt nothing for 2 days. Had some mild AF like feelings down there last night, slight twinging and swelling. today my low, lower back (tail bone area) had some very mild cramping. At least this time I know it's not stims or a HCG shot. Every twinge has got me wondering. I'm trying to keep my mind off the embies, but I feel that need to at least tell them they are wanted now and then.
