Great idea to start this thread. I was thinking it would be good for us to continue talking over on this side. And us Oct/Nov buddies got to know each other so well. It will be nice to stay in touch.

I'm adjusting to the babies and having fun with them. I had a uterine infection too that put me in the hospital. Plus the usual recovery from the c-section. Today is exactly 6 weeks. Time sure flies.

I'm looking forward to staying in touch with everyone!

That's so funny that you said it took 2 hours to get ready to go somewhere. That made me laugh. It's a big ordeal for me to get them & me ready to get out of the house too. I always wonder what the last thing is that I should do before leaving...change their diaper, feed them, get them to fall asleep...etc. I've figured out how to get out on my own with them though and I just grin as I push the double stoller through the store on my own. Who would've thought???

My boys are named Tyler & Brady.

Sounds like you both are really enjoying your little boy too. They are miracles, aren't they? As I'm typing right now I have one laying stomach down on my bare chest (just got done breastfeeding) and the other laying on my lap face up. How adorable to hear both of them breath as they lay on me. I love it!!

Ladies,
Your boys are wonderful. THey are so beautiful,
Enjoy every moment because it flys by. It seems like just yesterday that I brought Joey home and now he is crawling all over the place and so very independent. If you have any questions I am here.

Hi Guys - thanks for the new thread. I haven't ventured over this side before!

He-He - I know what you mean about going out. It's so stressful at first but getting better. We seem to have been out fo rlunch a lot recently. Trying to get the timing right is an artform!!! However I've started expressing so I now take a bottle with me if I think we're going to overlap with feeding - haven't been brave enough to feed in public (I'm not very discreet!!!!).

nyway Charlie's been asleep for the grand total of 30 mins and has decided he wants to play! I don't mind - means he'll sleep longer tonight I hope!!!!

Talk soon!

hiya girls
hope you are all well
we went to register our little boy today
kieran micheal cameron arnold is now fully registered to pay his taxes
great isnt it :?
to be serious though, wow we both felt so proud today,we also took him back to ivf clinic where he was made
all the nurses there made a huge fuss of him and all said how cute he was
it felt so strange to go back there after all this time and actually have our baby with us when you really think about it its very emotional
was one hell of a journey 8) but our little guy is a proper little treasure
im sure he waved at me earlier
we also went to a department store today for a little while charlie breast fed for 1st time in public dont think she much cared for the whole experiance and was glad when it was all over then was off to the changing room to change him it all seems so hard, god only knows how kristia gets on with 2 little darlings :? :?
i guess you just have to get on with it and i bet you do a great job too
do your babies follow you around the room with there eyes when you move??
any1 having problems with hic cups???? kierans got terrible hiccups, he has had them since he was in the womb and gets em probably 7/8/9 times a day if not more
anyway seems like we got a million things we could discuss with you all
basicly we are so damn happy it kinda hurts :?
take care all and talk soon

Hello,

Glad to hear you are having a goog time with your little one. I too am having the time of my life. I brought colin to my clinic also and my doctor was dancing saying "I did this" it was great. Colin does follow me with his eyes, he has been doing this for about 2 weeks. As far as the hiccups he gets them 2-3 times a day. I do have trouble burping him, he falls asleep with his bottle. He is just the biggest grunter I have ever seen. It cracks us up. He is sleeping on daddys chest right now. He will be one month in a few days, when can you bring them out in public around alot of poeple? What month do they start laughing and cooing? Well have fun and will talk later.

Hello,

Just popped on to wish you all the best luck in the world. The photos on photobucket are gorgeous. Charlie you look lovely and Kieren is edible!

You all sound so happy and are doing great. Kristi I'm in awe of you, you are doing such a fantastic job and seem to be coping brilliantly.

Sorry no tips on hic-cups, only Jodie suffered with them but I bottle fed her and just swapped the bottles to the Dr Brown ones but that doesn't really help you.

Madiva from what I remember it's around 6-8 weeks that they start giggling though if your baby was premature it takes a bit longer. Usually you have to add the weeks that they were prem. I don't think there's a set time that you can take them out. When you are ready and as long as baby is dressed for the weather you'll be fine.

Keep the photos flowing.

All the best

Jo
