I am in my 6th week will be 7 weeks to date on 11/14/06. I have been feeling great no nausea or any sort of morning sickness at all. I just get tired easily. My breasts are very sore and tingly, although it may be due to the progesterone shots. I don't want to panic but i'm scared that something is wrong. I have an appt for u/s on 11/15/06. My belly looks bloated but that is from the overstimulation drugs. I was just wondering if anyone else is experiancing the same kind of fear as I am. Or am I just being totally paranoid.
First time mom to be and tried for couple of years, although the IVF treatmetn took on the first cycle.
Please share your thoughts.
You are not the only one.. I am with you..you only have to read all the postings that I have put on this site!!
I am 5 weeks 5 days..and so worried that all is not okay. I have had the odd bit of nausea..but I think that it is in my mind and have had lots and lots of cramps...nipples did tingle during 2 ww but nothing since and not sore at all. I am more tired than normal..perhaps from all this worrying and I am extremely bloated especially in the evening.
I went to my local GP for some reassurance...only to be told it is too early to do anything and to come back after 7 week scan as anything could happen and frequently do...great!! More worrying.
Good luck and hope that every thing turns out all ok for you

You and I are exactly in the same boat. I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. I also have no nausea just saw boobs and very tired. I went for my second ultrasound today and they saw one healthy beannie with a strong heartbeat (at my first scan they saw two sacs but they said one sadly must have reabsorbed at some point). I asked my Dr. and he said that many women do not get sick at all. Even though that is very reassuring I still have the same fear that you have. I am also a first time mom who has been trying to concieve for a few years. This was also our first IVF and we were so blessed that it worked. I am trying not to worry but I understand how you feel. It is so natural to be concerned especially after all we have been through. I am sure your little beannie is ok and will pray for you both. Once you see/hear the heartbeat for the first time you will feel better.
Please don't worry.
Each pregnancy is different (even each pregnacy in same person).
I didn't have any sickness for the first 5-6 weeks and not that much after that. I did have AF-type very slight pains on and off, but many peole dont't have them. My breasts were a bit sore but less than during tmt.
As you can see, nothing much to go by. It can be perfectly normal not to feel a single symptom.
Do not worry!! I have never had any morning sickness and am over 24 weeks now. I also had the sore breasts and was very tired. Relax and enjoy your BFP!!
Regards,
Tammy

Thank you all for responding back, it feels good to hear from other people and what they are going thru. i hope everyone is doing well and hope everyone will have good pregnancies and all their dreams come true. I am going for my u/s on 11/15/06 so I will keep you posted.
I just feel very bloated and my belly looks as if i was at least 3 mo pregnant.
Tiredness gets the best of me. When lunch times comes around I am exhausted and want to take a nap. When I am at home all I want to is sleep.
I can't make it past 8:30pm I have to go to bed. I also feel like i'm on a 2 hour feeding schedule. I want to eat frequently.
Thanks for all the encouraging words and thought from all of you. Talk to you soon.
From week 5 to 8, I had absolutely no nausea, the only symptoms were tender brests and tiredness (I took a nap every afternoon and did not stay late at night!)
I started to feel nauseous from week 8 until a few days ago at 10weeks1/2 ( but I have never been sick) and still needed my nap every day. I am now 11 weeks and feeling great, no more sick feeling, no more tired. The only thing that has not change since the beginning are my nipples, very sensitive .
Also, I was a lot bigger at week 5 than I am now... I had OHSS, so I was very bloated and my ovaries were huge (15cm each). I did look pregnant then, but not now!
I wish you the best, dont worry about symptoms, we are all different!
