sassynlv, I know what you mean about counting down the days. It's worse than Christmas!
When I did my fresh cycle, everytime I thought I felt something I just knew it was because of all the meds and my ovaries healing. You spend the whole 2ww wondering what's causing it, but hoping it's PG symptoms. It makes you crazy.

Meg 12, congrats on getting ER/ET dates. Best of luck. I hope you get plenty of healthy embies!

Thanks! I try to update the list everytime I see a new post with info, otherwise you'd all be way ahead of me. You know we have aroud 40 something ladies here?! Some of them are MIA though.

hopping to hear from jamieandduane and pcosirl, you are next for PG tests. Are you guys still with us? We'd love to hear about your BFPs! Wishing you both well on your tests! :)

Good luck Kelly and Tonia! Your PG tests are next too. Can't wait to hear the news! :)

I'm so sorry about your loss, Angelica. You and yours will be in my prayers!

I had my ER today and must say I am a bit disappointed. Remember I told you that I had 16 follicles? Well, they only got 7 eggs I know that it only takes one, but was real hopeful that I would have plenty to choose from (especiallly having 16 follies) and have some to freeze. How does that happen?

I'm going back to sleep. Hope all is well with each of you.......

angellica, Sorry to hear about your FIL. I know you have been expecting this for awhile, still it's hard when family members leave us. You and your family are in my thoughts. Take care. (((hugs)))

wannababy, It's OK, you know all you need is one. I think 7 is still good. I'll keep my fingers crossed that all fetilize and become healthy embies. Do you have an ET date?

Hi All, finally got through all the posts, thanks for all the congrats. I've got everything crossed that the numbers soar, I think DH will be an alcoholic by the end of this he's finding it extremely stressful and no one knows what we are doing which makes it harder.

Angellica sorry for your loss, but at least he is now at peace. wishing you all the best.

Elliecat take it easy picking those olives, listen to your body and you should be fine.hope the embie sticks well.

Al of you on your 2ww good luck and lots of sticky baby dust to you all.

Cinders101 in my fresh cycle i had no symptoms at all i felt really good all the way and just slight bloating in the last couple of days, and i got 20 eggs so don't worry.

My experience on my 2ww bearing in mind it was a drug controlled FET, i had mild abdominal twinges/cramps all the way, also backache and in the last week sore b's. however the nurse says this can all be down to the drugs and everyone has different symptoms with varying results. so who knows?

Mia we have had very similar cycles as on my fresh one i also had a very difficult ET, and we are both now on frozen, hope you get a stronger result than me, keep up the good work on the list it looks great, although i don't know how long i'll be on the BFP post, but i am staying positive as you say its better than a negatve.

To everyone else goog luck and best wishes i hope we have many more BFP coming, very sticky baby dust to you all.
Love J :D

Hey all you experts out there--quick question.

:?: Do you know if it's possible for the egg quality to diminish in the larger follicles while waiting for the smaller follies to catch up? :?:

Let me know what you think! Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

Meg - I was worried about the same thing. My RE didnt seem too concerned but told me he would harvest before they get too big and if the others hadnt caught up that was too bad. It is a balancing act and my RE seemed pretty onto what odds to play. Hope those follies keep growing steadily. Good luck with the trigger shot

Beachbaby- pleased to hear it was positive and hope the "Big Fat" part of that result happens next - fingerscrossed

Angelica - so sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you and your DH. You need some good news girl soon!

Cheeky monkey - welcome back - we have missed you.

Cindy - I had no symptoms while I was stimming (apart from a few irrational moments). I felt more side effects after my ER than I have the entire time with bloating, cramps etc..

I have my ET tomorrow and going slowly crazy, obsessive doesnt begin to cover it. Feel like I am in weird limbo land - not growing anything, not stickying anything...

Looking forward to reading about those positive tests!!!!

2 ww

Post by anyaf »

Hello everyone! I am currently during my 2 ww. They retrieved 13 eggs on 11/05/06, 8 of which fertalized and 2 were put in on 11/08/06. Today I recieved a phone call from the clinic saying that they were not able to freeze the rest of the embries. So this is my only hope. I get so emotional lately. Like, anything you tell me I cry. I can't stand the waiting period. I am trying to be very positive. I talk to my little once all the time. Sometimes I feel that I am pregnant and than other times I feel like I am totally not. Is anyone on the same waiting period right now? I am in desporation here for the positive stories please!

My history: SEVERE ENDOMETRIOSIS STAGE IV, I mean I have it everywhere in my body! DP is all good. I am 27 and he is 35 with very good swimmers.

The other thing that concerns me is that I wanted them to put three in but they refused because of my age and the two they did put in were suppositly very good quality with no fragmentations.

Beachbaby and Sarah: Thank you so much for input on stimming..I was wondering if I should be feeling something.

It's been helpful reading everyone's posts through this process. For the girls with less embryos that hey hoped I have an uplifting story for you. My friend who had 2 children through invitro only had 2 eggs TOTAL the 1st time and only 1 egg the second time and got pregnant both times...so when everyone says it only takes 1, it truly does!!

Hang in there everyone, it's almost over!!!
