I think we all know that we are not supposed to do them but I know that it is hard to resist. I tested a few days before my beta and hated that I did although my test was positive as was my beta.
The dr.s tell us IVFers to wait for the beta for a reason and we should all do so. Now you'll be all stressed out for two days waiting for your appointment.
Don't give up! You tested too early and still have a great chance for a positive result on Wednesday.
Good luck!

As Dione said, it's very hard to resist. I personally did them with both of my cycles. When I got my BFP, I didn't test positive, though, on an HPT until the day of my first beta (which I later found was 20). My clinic does the first beta 11 dp ER or 8 dp 3-day ET. So, that's pretty early. I tested earlier on HPTs and got negatives all the way through.

Thus, most people on this board will recommend to stay away from them because they often give misleading results at this early phase and can make you feel badly. Whatever you decide, just remember not to put too much faith into them and remember that it's the blood test that will tell you for sure.

I wish you the best!

Hi Victoria

That's only 11 days after transfer which is still very early. There are some women on here who do a HPT on the day of their beta and it's negative but the bloods come back positive so there is still hope. My clinic only do HPT's to start with and if that's positive you go in for blood. They make you wait until day 16 until you test. That in itself tells you something.

Best of luck for your beta.
