Cowgirl
I hope your OB class goes great and you like them! Hopefully you will find out soon when you will have another scan!!!

BecP

JenJ
I am so glad that you clinic kept you on as a OB patient!!! I wish my clinic did that, even thought they are 2 hrs away I would still want to go there...

lori
How are you??? How is the stress classes going?? Are they helping?? You might need to share what you have learned to help me!!! I hope all is going well!!

jenn

fulloffaith
How is it going for you??? Glad everything went well with your test and you found the reason for your -ve. I know that is a big decision on what to do about your tube! Hopefully time away and relaxing during the holidays will give you the perspective you need!!!

Ophee
How are you 4 doing?? Can't wait to hear about your scan tomorrow!! Let us know how it goes and how many it still is!!!!

cmoscar
my dear friend, thanks for all your kind words!!! How are you doing??? When do you have another scan? Are your boys all excited?? Hope you are feeling well!!!

txpacotaco
Is your scan today? If it is let us know how it goes! I hope that it was late implantation and you little one is right on target for this week!!! Good Luck honey and my prayers are with you!!!

Malinka
I haven't seen you on the boards lately, I hope all is well with you! I would love to hear from you when you have a chance!!!

Charity
I have been keeping up with you on the other threads and as always I love reading your posts!!!

As for me I had my follow up on Monday and she would like me to use heprin along with the baby aspirin on my next cycle... and she is doing more blood work to see if there is anything else that can explain the miscarriages... But I still have not resolved this pregnancy... My levels dropped to 38 and then started creeping back up, they were 58 last week and then 85 on Monday and I have to go and get it checked today. Re said if it gets above a 100 they will give me that shot to help it resolve... It is so frustrating, I am ready for it to be over so that I can move on...

On a happier note I am sending off our paperwork so that we can get the home study process started... I think the home study will make us know for sure that we want to adopt...

Sorry if I missed anyone and I hope this finds you well!!!

Hi, Everybody -

We had our follow-up scan this morning, which showed no heartbeat and virtually no growth. DH and I are ok and will be taking a break from things for awhile (the past year has been all about making babies & having surgical and other invasive procedures) before we move on to - probably - egg donation.

The doctor said that in cases like we had last week - where we knew the exact gestational age should have been 7 weeks, but the scan showed 6 weeks instead - it virtually always leads to miscarriage. She also said that when it happens this early, 90% of the time it can be traced back to chromosomal problems due to maternal age (don't forget I'm 40). The luck of the draw. We'll give me a week to see if I miscarry naturally and if I don't she'll do a D&C.

Overall this has been a great experience, and we've learned so much. I know there is a tremendous amount we can both do to approach our next pregnancy with less stress and better health, and I am certain certain certain that we will have children one day.

Good luck to all of you October buddies!!

I am so sorry that this didn't turn out well... It is heartbreaking I know... We have been doing IVF for a year now and it is good to have a break... I have gained 25lbs and it is time to get back to me!!! I hope you find each other again during your break and come back stronger then ever!!! I hope that it goes well with the pregnancy resolving itself, its hard when you know its over and it drags on... Good Luck honey and let us know how you are doing!

There is so much sadness here from yesterday. I am sending out love to all of you. Jen and Rachel, you are such special people and I wish you both luck with whatever you decide.

Jeck

My dear friend, I am thrilled to hear from you too. I am excited to hear you are still moving forward with your new little bundle. I child is a child no matter who fathered/mothered it. I know from experience that no one can resist a child in need. My husband did that for Danny (our oldest). He met Danny when Danny was almost 1 year old and he fell in love with him. By the time Danny was two, Carlos was begging me to marry him so he could adopt Danny. To this day, Danny is his baby even though we have another son together (Christian). Danny and Carlos are inseperable! If this avenue is right for you, you will know. I pray your little angel is just waiting for you to find it!

Nictor

I am eager to hear your results! We could use some great news today! Good Luck and I hope your ER is still going to be on Friday!

All,

I had my u/s yesterday and everything looks great with the baby. However, my RE did not release me. He referred me to a Hemotologist because of my high homosistine levels and wants to see me in two weeks with some more results. He told us that with these levels I am at risk even when I am not pregnant and that right now he wants to be extra careful. He is going to discuss with the Hemotologist the increase of my anti coagulent medication. On a good note though, they did not see any blood clots forming like they did with my other full term pregnancies. I was so happy when they told us this! So on Dec. 4th, I will be having another u/s and BW.

Hope all is well with everyone else,

Hi all,

So much mixed news here. My heart aches for the BFN's and the pregnancies that did not make it.

We found out Monday at our scan that we are indeed having twins as suspected. Even though it shouldn't have been a surprise, it still came as a shock. My all day morning sickness is still a problem, so I anxiously await the day that I feel "normal" again.

Best of luck to all,
Brit

Tasha, we did see both babies and their heartbeats - one at 170 and one at 156. It is exciting but scary at the same time!

Jen,

My heart hurts for you...I feel like we are in the same boat. 3 times, 3 BFN's.
I know there is nothing I can say but what I live by is "Never give up! Keep the faith!" Going thru each of my cycles has changed me and I feel like a stronger woman now, full of faith, ready to fight and never give up.
I know you are hurting, but please know I am praying for you in your time of grief. You are not alone.

Jeck,

Thanks for thinking of me! You are so sweet!
I am going to take my pictures of my HSG and the info I have now and go consult with my reg. OBGYN. He knows me so much better than the fertility doc does, knows my previous surgery, and he talks to me like a real person, in terms I can understand. I just want to see what he would do and give me straight answers. Everytime I asked this other doc a question he just stammers and I don't get a really good feeling he really cares. I know he is just doing his job but I have a better rerlationship with my OB so I'll see what he says. He wants me to get prego so bad so I know he'll help me out.
The future is bright...I feel my time is coming soon! It's exciting to think about the future!
Good luck with your home study, I wish we had the money, we would do that in a second! God has a special baby already picked out just for you and I'll be praying everything works out at just the right time.

HUGS,
Allison
