Short Protocol

Post by Cazzy »

Hi, some months (after my last failed IVF) my gyne has finally given in and said I could try one more with a short protocol cycle. I'm on day 3 today & been trying to phone my local hosptial to make an appointment for the bood test today but can't get through so I phoned the IVF clinic who said it could also be done on Monday.

Can anyone tell me if it's OK to go ahead with the IVF (depending on the FSH result) when it will start and whether the 2 day wait will make a difference as we haven't received our information pack yet.
Thanks
Cazzy

PS
Traci, got your mail but our computer is still playing up - haven't been able to read the board either but hope the down reg is going OK -I have been thinking about you xxxx

Thats fantastic news I am so pleased for you , What blood test are you having done ? as I understood it when i was going to have a short protocol I was to blood test on day 1 ish!!! then start stimming on day 3-4 ish but I had to have a low enough FSH to start EG: 10 but I never got one so Thats why Im going down the donor route, but at least you know you have had an 8 before. I cant tell you how pleased I am for you , am on day 4 of downregging and my cousin starts tomorrow. We are fineally on our way . :)

Take care
Trace x
