Tonia: So sorry about your BFN. It is a lot of work to get that result. I agree with the other girl...indulge in some things that you couldn't do while you were in IVF. Take some time off to think and hopefully youwill have the strength to try again. Hang in there!!

I had my first ultrasound today..and had 18 Follicles!!! I was beginning to get sore and today am very, very uncomfortable. My RE had told me not to take my follie stim tonight. Has anyone else skipped a few nights of stims before retrieval??

Kelly, good luck with testing tomorrow! I've got my fingers crossed.

Wannababy, good luck with ET!!

Cindy, congrats! 18 is a very good follie count.

Tonia i am so sorry you had BFN. Take time to come to terms with your loss. When i had my BFN i felt deflated and angry and could not think of the next step until i had come to terms with our loss.
Take care and thinking of you both

Tonia - so sorry about your BFN. I am thinking of you and all the best for whatever you decided to do.

Kelly - all the best for tomorrow. I hope that we both have good results tomorrow. I would like to do the HPT in the morning but my dp has to go into work early so won't be doing it until he gets home from work in the evening.

The only people we have told are both workplaces because of the time off etc and I have told my best friend. We told so many people last time and couldn't go through that again.

Good luck everyone.

Tonia I am so sorry for the bfn. Take time to heal and decide on your next stage.

Regarding who we have told, my DH and i decided to tell no one, as our SIL has a tendancy to blab without thought, and we felt it was unfair to tell some and not his brother, so we told no one. However my parents live in Spain and DH knows I am very close to my mum and he said i could tell her. I chose not to ,but on a girls night out after my first attempt she was on and on asbout how we should investigate our infertility i cracked and told her (i had had a few glasses of wine). But she does not know when we are in cycle, i will just tell her the result.
we both feel it is easier to deal with if no one knows

i should have my results in about 3 hours i will let you all know.
Tkae care

Beachbaby, I have my fingers crossed for you!!!!, hope those number rised nicely!!!!

Cindy, yes I skipped one night of Follistim, but not Menopur I think, because my estrogen levels were too high and they told me to do so, it is normal for them to play around with the medications, that is why they keep such a tight control on us...GOOD LUCK!!

This is my first IVF and I told a lot of people about it, and I am starting to regret it, if I have to go through this again I think I would only tell my parents and that's it.....

I spent one whole day without doing an HPT!!, I think I am getting better!! ..........will see....

Lots of baby dust for everybody!!!!!! Image

Vicky, you are strong. I'm proud of you.
Well, i'm weak and I did another test this morning hoping to see a light second line but instead got bright one line - NEGATIVE. I used Answer test, it's supposed to be accurate. Also, I found a forum online where people list their symptom while on 2ww. 90% of all women had sore or tender breasts before bw test with bfp.
It was so stupid of me to tell so many people about ivf. Next time I will tell only to my parents and maybe 1 friend.
I have one more test left in the box. I'll do it on Saturday. But to be honest, I lost all my hope already. Actually, not because of the test result but because of lack of symptoms.
On the top of that, I had a dream today that I'm peeing in the cup to do the test (sorry, tmi) and got my period right then. :(
At least I'm already prepared for the bad news. It won't be a shock to me. And if I get bfp, i will be SO happy.

KF 06, be strong!!, I still think it's too early, you even had your ET after me, so I don't think you will have symptomps nor positive until further down the road......be patient (look who's talking  ).

I wish I would be on vacations, I hate being here at work this days, not because of the work itself, but because I am soooo anxious about all this that I cannot concentrate very well on what I am doing . Besides, I am all the time in front of this computer tempted to see what you guys are saying...

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY!!!!

Hey KF06, hang in there. Yesterday I have read that it actually takes up to 10 day in some people to implant those little once. So if it takes 10 days it takes about 2 to 3 days for HCG levels to go up and that is what makes you to have symptoms so I hope this helps. ;) Hang in there. As far as dreams go, I think that you are so anxious about the AF starting you are dreaming of it as well. You brain in a way gets rid of the anxiety. I am right there with you pal...and too can't wait any longer but I look at it this way - there is absolutely nothing we can do to change our situation right now so try to enjoy the moment as much as possible. I talk to my little once and I also eat fresh pine apple everyday (I heard it helps the implantation), I also try to have a shot of wheat grass everyday. So it makes me feel that I have some control over it.

Beachbaby I know you will come back to us with the good news! Good luck to you!
