1st Time not sure if we belong

Post by tcbalgord »

Hi, 27/F and 30/M. Not sure if we belong here because our situation is not typical. My husband had a vesectamy 5 years ago due to his ex having more in their marriage then he was. (Long story) Our insurance won't pay for a reversal, but it will pay for most of the IVF treatment.
The reason for us posting on here is because everyone seems so nice and we would love to have a place where we can ask questions and get support. I am very scared of this journey, mostly due to the failure rate. We spoke with our Doctor yesterday and we are beggining this process within the next month.
If anyone has any advice or words of wisdom for us please pass them along, we appreciate it very much.

Best of luck and blessed be.
Christine

tcbalgord - Welcome, of course you fit in here!!! it really bares no relevance why you are having IVF the fact still remains that you are about to embark on a major rollercoaster which will make you laugh, cry, scream, shout, get fat and eventually be the proudest parents out there! Good luck guys, I am sure with some PMA and lots of support you will be on that parents after treatment thread before you know it!

Good luck

Take care
