Update - I had another scan this am, only 3 follies (mature enough to count as follies) soooooooooooo, no IVF for me this time. RE suggests we resort to IUI since such a low number. We do IUI on Wednesday. I had the same number of follies with just using $50 Clomid in the past. I can't believe we have just spend about $2,300 for meds for just an IUI! I PRAY THAT MY LITTLE FOLLIES GROW, GROW, GROW TONIGHT SO RE WILL CHANGE HIS MIND ON IVF!

I did a HPT this morning and got a very very faint line. Not to sure what to think incase i imagined it!!! DP checked to and thought he had seen something. I am getting a bit of cramping tonight hope its not AF. Only have to make it through tonight and trying not to get too excited.. BuT ITS HARD

VICKY AND ANGELLICA, CONGRATULATIONS! YEAHHHHHH!!!! That's wonderful news. I'm so happy for you! So happy we've finally got some good news to add.

Unfortunately, a little bad news too. My test (as expected) was a BFN! I knew it, as I've tested with an HPT every day for the last week. I'm handling it pretty well, I guess cause I've been here so many times before. I did feel like this cycle went really well, and hoped for different results, but.... unfortunately not. I'm looking forward to cracking my bottle of wine tonight, and starting tomorrow as a new day. I'm scheduling my follow up appointment to see when I can start my next cycle. Who knows, maybe number 5 will be the one. Trying to stay positive as hard as it is. I guess I'll try for as long as I can afford it and stand it. Good luck to everyone else testing over the next couple days. It's been great being a part of this forum with all of you. It helped with getting through it all! Janice

Well I haven't really managed to relax today, but guess that par for the course with a toddler running around. If these embies survive her playfulness towards my stomach they are really meant to be!

Hello Everyone,
so sorry to have lost the details of the past weeks I will have to sit down and read all the messages....to those of you BFP gals CONGRATULATIONS....I do hope we will see many more. I left my country two weeks ago to complete my IVF treatment. To my surprise, on the first u/s they only saw 3 follicles, and my estradiol was under 20. Apparently I was "over suppressed" the Dr. gave me the maximum dosage of stims (Menopur and Follitism in am and pm), and still I never got to more than 3 "good big follicles", 2 "medium sized, and a couple of small follicles. After one week of stims and u/s and blood tests every day, my Dr. decided it might best to cancel treatment or to convert it into IUI. My husband and I chose to try IUI seeing that we had "invested" close $5,000.00 just on fertility meds.
The Hcg shot was on Sunday night, and my first insemination was performed on Tuesday Nov 14, and the 2nd was on Nov 15. On Nov 17, I came back to my country, disillusioned, but hopeful. Now all we do is wait and see. I take my pregnancy test on 11/29!!!
