Jovigal- my HCG shot was IM and DH gave it to me in the top quadrant of my backside (almost at the love handles). It needs to go in deeper than the stim meds to hit the muscle. But it is pretty easy to give- it stings a bit but nothing more than what you would have already experienced. I would not take the Menopur - I stopped my stims the day of the HCG - you dont know how the menopur will react with HCG.

Devasting news - had the ER this morning and from 11 follies, we got 3 eggs. The RE thought I might have preovulated because of the # of follies w/ no eggs. On top of that, he's said the 18 mm uterine lining is too thick and may be a problem. I feel like I've been kicked in the chest. I'm readying myself that we probably won't have anything to transfer.

Well, back to hibernating.

Angellica and Ellie, congrats on HPT hope the official tests confirm the good news.

janice so sorry, it really sucks you have such strength to go through this so many times. I have found the result very difficult this time, i think as i got a very low positive first. Take care and keep in touch.

On the night of my trigger shot i also did a full shot of gonal f as well to give the follies a spurt, and this was evevn though i was close to going OHSS which thankfully i didn't.

Good luck to everyone else with their results this week.

Well for me AF arrived today so i guess its well and truly over, i have another blood test on Wednesday as they want to see a complete negative. i spoke to the hospital today and can't get an appointment to discuss the next stage until Dec 21st, I am hoping to go for another FET cycle after my Dec period, cannot go before as they close for the holidays, so i should be transferring in January. I just hope they don't make me wait until February as i think i will go nuts.
I will catch up again Wed as its my wedding anniversary tomorrow (15 years) and i can have champagne DH is taking me out for dinner.
Anyway must go got to rescue a mouse from my cat.

Like lots of people have said, just cause it's negative, does not mean that your blood work will be negative. Stay positive!!!

Kristin?? I thought you were going to avoid the HPT? I dont blame you I will probably end up doing the same thing. But dont lose hope. A lot of the times you will get a false -ive and your blood will be +ive. Dont worry, I have everything crossed for you and I am hoping you get the BFP you and DH deserve. Let me know when you hear.

Congrats to both BFBs today! I really needed to hear that!

I'm having a hard time today for some reason. It's my first day back to work since the transfer (it was on Saturday) and I worry about every little twinge that I feel.

It's sooooooooooooo hard to stay positive. Plus, I swear everyone and their dog has babies with them today (I work in an eye doctor's office). GAAAAAAAAA--how am I supposed to keep my mind off of it when it's everywhere???????????

Suzhan: I'm so sorry about your news. My husband and I felt so bad for you. I would be feeling the same way

But, those 3 can still fertilize and be okay. Please let us know your updates...you're in my thoughts.

I had my ER today and I feel really horrible!!! Very crampy and uncomfortable. I don't know how people do this 6 times. This is my 1st and the needles were nothing compared to how uncomfortable I am now. The good news is that they got 18 eggs today so hopefully I'll have lots to freeze. Bad news is, my RE told me right before I went in, that my uterus is not a "3-fold" uterus..while the lining is okay at 13mm, the pregnanacy rates are less thatn with someone with a 3-fold. DOes anyone know about this?? Needless to say, I cried and like 4 people had to consult me. I don't know why he would tell me that right before I went in. I have to find a way to be positive, but I'm feeling like it may not work...all during stimming I was so optimistic..uuuughhh

It was stupid for me to do a HPT. Aren't you supposed to do them in the morning for the most accurate result. I'm blowing it off and staying positive that I am pregnant.
