Rachel - I'm supposed to be having my FET on the NHS so I wonder what that means, I've already got the medication. Do you think I should phone them? I'm scared incase they say we can't do it!!!!
Good luck with the adoption, we looked into it in the summer and our local authority won't allow us to do adoption and IVF together, they said we must have 'closure' on IVF before we start the adoption process!! Crazy if you ask me but there you go I'm sure they have their reasons

Hey everyone!

Well, back from planning appointment and we start Buserelin on or about 21st Dec! Feeling very positive now after our little blip and the brilliant nurse answered lots of our answered questions so feeling much better about things now and can't wait to get this thing started!

Aunty - could you add my proposed start date to your lovely list?

Shantala - I live in Sittingbourne but work in Canterbury which is probably where you went to Uni, right? We're lucky that our clinic is in Canterbury too so I can just nip off to appointments.

Sending lots of babydust to you all and here's to hoping this is our time!

Love Ems xx

babyblue- hi ya. gotta love AF. i should have mine next week. going to accu to help her along. their is this point on the inside of your knees where she puts a needle to bring it on.. and WOW, is it the spot or what!!!! but hope af doesn't stay too long!!!! lots of chocolate :)

AUnty- pineapple juice huh? I have an appointment with a fertility nutritionoiist and I will ask her, I will let you know if she has any words of wisgom too!!!!

Ems= GOOD LUCK today, let us know ok!

Jemma- my blood sugar gets low and I am also anemic so I have to make sure I get enough iron, are you a red meat eater??? I am not so I eat alot of fortified ceral and spinach, I have been making myself eat some red meat... and it does help me with the fatigue????

Arizonakiwi-
hi ya. welcome to the train!
it is an exciting ride and we all are here for you every step of the way!

Carolyn. enjoy accu. I have the needle in the head too sometimes.
So weird how your body responds huh!!!! I am going next week.... I am with you on keeping to yourself. I just an getting more into my nesting mode, sometimes I find it hard to be in a crowd, I just want to curl up and relax... I started Prometrium today and Iknow I get even more tired on that.. lucky DH hehehe. He is driving me nuts today. but trying to let it slide I know he has so much on his head right now, but AAAHHH! we are going out to a concert tonight so that should be good!!!!
Keep up the shot-a -roos!!! go eggies go!!!
I always talk to my eggs, but then again I am a bit of a nut!

Angie- GOOD STICKY LUCK< praying for you!

Rachel - happy 30th, it is a good one!!!!life begins now ! heheheh!

Hatlie- welcome home, glad you had a great time. Florida does sound very nice right about now!!!!

Oh and Aunty, can you pictyure if we all went to the Dr office, all us women hehehe GREAT VISUAL!

Shantala- not so complicated. I just harass my nurses with tons of questions hehehehe. next tuesday I will stop all meds, wait for AF and shoot em up!!!!!! I think staying local is good too, but make sure if you aren't getting the treatment/answers you want call them, youhave to. one thing I am realizing is honestly they don't remember your case. this is my 5th try and every time the nurse talks to me she acts like it is my first. it gets annoying but I just have to remember to her it is a job. to me it is EVERYTHING> so sometimes you have to push to be heard. I am glad I did. if I didn't I wouldn't be starting until February....
keep on going my friend!!!!

Sanny & TC
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Erin- hety there. hope you are feeling better today. 1 more day til turkey day and you can rest some more!!!!

lots o love to all.

My god, i type, press send and there are 5 more posts! (de ja vu!)

lara - do let us know what the adoption peeps say.

aunty - thats why you do the list! to keep you out of mischief huh! i did wonder why you didnt take me off the 13th dec but i did laugh when you said you wouldnt. way to go. we never know...

ems - yes, went to uni in canterbury. i really miss it actually as its such a beautiful city. you're very lucky if you are in the kent and canterbury hospiatl (i assume?) as they are lovely there!!! god its such a small world.

bec - i'm so excited, bring on AF next week! i'm glad i'm not the only one taht keeps pushing them. depending on when we get the appointment for DH and depending on when we get the results i'll definitely call them to see if i can go on a waiting list for the 13th dec if its full.

my AF is being really weird. as you all know she's been all over the place since coming off the depo contraceptive injection. the last she showed was the 17th oct, then nothing till the 16th nov so i thought woohoo, looks like she might be regulating herself. i've always had AF for about a week and this last time, she was here for 3 days! and that was it. all a bit strange. guess, will just have to wait and see whether she shows around the 16th dec again. all bizarre though. :?

Shantala - we're at the BMI Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury. It is certaintly a small world as my Uncle & Auntie used to live in Reading up until a couple of years go. They were in Woodley!

Shantala - Freaky indeed! How weird!
They lived in Chiltern Crescent when I was little and then moved to Woodwaye until about 2 years ago when they moved down to Somerset when they retired.

Babyblue, I am having the same issue with the notices. There were only 35 pages yesterday and I didn't get any notices, now there's 37! Strange, but I suppose technology never comes with a guarantee!

Aunty, I am not one for parades either, so it's not un-american at all! Foster care is a wonderful thing, and it makes such a difference in the kids life, anyone of the foster children in the world would benefit so much from you.

Funny about AF! I have never been so excited for her visit and Hubby is worse, she's not due for 5 days and he keeps texting me asking if she's here yet. I never knew men could be funny, cute, and annoying all at the same time!

Thank you everyone for all the words of wisdom and support; it means the world to us both!

Hugs all Around

Well ladies i was told on the weekend that doing ivf and going to adopt would not be a problem well she was wrong i was told tmt has to be finished and that you have to have had time out to think things over before they can start with an adoption they said it is not advisable to do the 2 has all the emotions and stress that goes with fertility tmt so thats that or the time being i will have my fet then on the outcome of that decide where to go from feeling a bit sad now :( .
Haylie there was an article in the echo why dont you see if you can go into the archives and have a look at it but if they was going to cancel yours they would have informed you by now i;m not sure if it was just the fresh cycles they were cancelling.
Em thats great that your starting in a months time it will soon fly by.
Bec can the accu help bring on af then has i dont want mine to be late next month .
hugs to you all

Hi Ladies :D

Welcome Julie :D 3years and 9mths - thats a long time to be waiting, but i do beleive it will have been worth every minute when u get ur BFP :D You have come to the right place, the ladies here are just wonderful and will be here for you thru thick and thin, its just a shame that we all have to meet under such circumstances - but we see each other thru and thats something special.

Rachel: Shumi hunny  Bumer about the adoption, i guess they just want u to be clear in ur head about what ur doing (i know, that u know that what ur doing is right (i think lol) ) but they need to know that ur head is clear (which - lets face it, IVF isnt really a time when anything is right! I guess they are right too about the emotional side of things, ur head needs to eb clear whilst ur doing ur IVF, not worrying about what the adoption people are thinking of you an so on. When you get r BFP you will be glad you didnt have the added stress of the adoption to worry about - im sorry your feeling sad right now - sending you hugggggz to sunny Wales :D xx

Christine: Im getting the same problem with the boards too, i thought that things had been a little too quiet untill i came on to check and i had misssed about 454649 pages LOL - ok not that many, but it felt like it once i had caught up reading lol. I dont seem to be getting them from other postings either, and half the time i post in so many i lose track of where i am and what im doing (not hard for me - i get confused easily - its the age thing  lol)

Shantala: Hello you :D How are you doing? Im having same problems with my AF - i cant bloody win - most months i am a 33/35 kinda lady - but not since the IVF - im more on the lines of 40+ now - im fed up of it, im bloated (its not like im fat enuff lol) and tired and grumpy - she's on her way now for me, the @@'s are sore, and the usuall pains are starting up, so she not far away.

Bec: Jeeze u can yak on LOL -i cant keep up with your posts hun - but keep them comming they do make me laff and cheer up my day  Hope all is well with you, hugzzz xxx

Ems: Well Well Well - Helloooooooooooo my cycle buddie. Im so pleased that ur back (that sounds awful, but i think u know what i mean) im sorry that ur back really - but sorry that we're all here - ARGHHHHHHH, start again - Hi Ems hun, how are you, long time no hear from LOL. Im glad the appointment went well, im so pleased u'll be starting soon :D I just KNOW this time its going to work hun - PMA all the way for you OK :D Welcome back hun Xxxx

Aunty: So whats all this about pineapple juice then - i dont suppose we are allowed a wee bit of rum tpped up with it lol - i thought not  ah well, back to the drawing board. I read in a book the other day that pomegrannets (Oh heck i cant spell lol) are high up in the fertility ratings too - its mind boggeling what they say works and what doesnt - i also heard that if ur DH leaves his socks on when u do it - u get a boy! Yeah right -try telling that to the eskimos who have tonnes of girls lol.

Carolyn: Hi hun, ooooooo ur getting closer now, this is so exciting, its great to see people are starting on the board, i cant wait for the storks to be posted. Hows things going hun, i hope u are well and taking things easy. The X-Factor is movies on Sat - i wonder if Ray will do Greece, or as he said he was offered Dirty Dancing - maybe he will do that - iwhich ever way, i cant wait - roll on lol xx

Haylie: Hello to you too, hope u are well rested and ready to stand up and fight again. Im glad that everything went well in florida for you and that ur sisters wedding was as great s it sounded - welcome home hun - :D

Phew: For all you lovely ladies i missed <<<Hugzzzzzzz>>>

Still no nes with the clinic for me im afraid ladies - im trying not to think about it too much - but as you all know, thats really diffucult. Child against all odds is on again tonight - im hoping its going to help DH and i with some of our issues on the freezing embryos - altho lasts weeks show left me sobbing at the end - and i mean - sobbing my heart out, the tears were comming thick and fast  i cried for the ladies who it didnt work for - i cried for myself - and i cried for all you ladies here whom are going thru the same thing.

If you keep fighting - you will win.

Love & hugs to everyone ....

Becky Xxxxx
