Hi all,

Thanks for your advice. My clinic is very aggressive so they will put 4-5 in. I am 35 (36 in Dec) so I guess I'll have to see tommorrow the quality of my embryos. It's hard, personally reduction would be hard for ethical reasons, but I know I don't want triplets or quads. I guess I have to see what the embryologist recommends and what our hearts say.

Nope..Just had mine yesterday. Little crampy but tylenol has taken care of that. How do you feel? Maybe its from the antibiotic if they put you on one...

I totally don't understand the HCG levels of the pregnancy test, can anyone explain it to me or tell me where I can look to understand what it means?

Janini: I have 16 embryos now. I'm waiting to hear from the embryologist to see how they progressed today. I'm doing a 3 day transfer tommorrow early morning. It's stressful, I'm struggling with it. As far as we know it's male factor. I have had a HSG test that was clear and a hysteroscopy that was clear. My lining is 13mm which is good. The only negative thing about me was that I don't have a "triple striped lining"..but other drs. told me pattern is not as impt as thickness, and mine is fine. So, I'm wondering if my quality is good, should I just put 3 in because of my age..I'm going to ask my embry when he calls..hopefully any minute. uugghhh

Scidoo: I am in brutal pain, still from my ER which was Monday. My stomach is very uspet. I feel like someone is wringing my insides out. Hopefully yours doesn't hurt that bad. Ibuprofen has done nothing for me

Skidoo: On the issue re: 3 or 5 day transfers... my RE has recommended 5 days for me (i actually don't know how often they do 3 day at my center). >70% of the embies that make it to blasts are chromosomally nl, so higher chance of implantation. since all of our embies so far have been abnl, waiting for blasts is our best bet. As for # of embryos...my RE is considering transferring 3 blasts next time (that is, assuming out of the next 3 stim cycles i get 3 viable blasts

). not sure how i feel about it... i know i wouldn't do selective reduction, so either i would just put in 2, or accept that i may end up with triplets.

Cinders: wishing you the best for ET tomorrow. Great thanksgiving present! Fingers crossed for you!

Holly: I was given zofran (potent anti-nausea) at ER #1 and had very little nausea after. After ER #2, i think the meds they gave me to get me breathing again (i stopped in the recovery room), reversed the zofran and i vomited for the next 24 hours. When was your ER? People who have "weak" stomachs like me-- seasickness, etc., can have some nausea for about 24 hours after depending on the meds used for sedation. Hope you are feeling better!

Hi MBA: That sounds great!! From what I read the dr. said first beta should be between 50-100..you sound great...twins?? Lets hope it doubles in the next 48 hours. Good luck!!!
