Hello Everyone!

My name is Michelle, I'm very happy to find this site and very happy to be a new member.

I will be starting my 1st IVF cycle in Jan 2007.
It would be nice to talk to someone that will be going through the same thing I will be going through at this time.

JAN 2006-1 round of Clomid- Failed
MARCH 2006-2 rounds of Clomid/IUI - Failed
AUG 2006 - BFP Naturally
SEPT 2006- 1 ectopic pregnancy
Jan 2007 - starting IVF

Hi Michelle, and welcome.

If you pop over to the General Forum there is a thread over there called Dec/January where I am at the moment. I will be starting my 2nd IVF attempt just before Xmas and used this site on my 1st attempt. You'll find all the ladies over there absolutely brilliant - I couldn't have got through it last time without them!

I will be doing my first IVF starting Dec. But the actual procedure done in Jan. I am very hopeful, scared. It will be nice to chat with someone who is going through this. Keep me informed.

JENHOPE WHAT DID YOU THINK OF SEVERINO AND DID HE EXPLAIN WHAT THEY WOULD ALL BE DOING......ARE YOU DOING ICSI? DID YOU DISCUSS WHICH PROTOCOL YOU'D BE BEST?

I thought Dr. Severino was nice. But I didn't spend to much time with him since we knew what we were going to do. I spent the most time with the nurses and Barb. I did ask if the IVF cycle couldn't be completed if the money would be refunded and they said yes. Also the anethesia is already included in the total. So far things with them are great. We are going to do the ICSI, it was a better option. Have you decided what you are going to do next?

Here are the dates I have so far:

BCPs - started Dec 10th
Lupron - Dec 21st
Baseline - Jan 3rd

This will be nice to talk to people that are going through this at the same time. I was to start begining of Dec but AF moved it to the beginging of January. I am excited to start. I read another post by some one and found a web site that helps with meds, they are cheaper. It was freedomdrug.com, I believe. I know the company is Freedom drug. So I hope this will save some money. I was told I could go anywhere for the meds. Well we will have to keep each other up dated. Have a Merry Christmas and hopefully a wonderful New Year, May we all get BFP's.

Good luck in January I will be checking the Message Board throughout the month. Keep positive, if you have anything you want to discuss I found the forum very benefical and positive throughout my 2 cycles I have been through.
