Hi Ladies,

First of all i want to thank each and every one of you for all your messages to me. I was deeply touched and cried when i read them. You are so wonderful.

Its uncanny really that Brian and i made our decision, because ive just got off the phone from the clinic. (They finally rung me) They had their meeting and decided against freezing the embryos - can u beleive that? Im really quite shocked that this can happen to couples and them not being able to do anything about it!! I am so glad now, that we came to the decision before it was taken away from us by the clinic. I would have been devastated to be told that i couldnt try even if i had wanted to. I feel releived and sad all at the same time. Theres a knot in my stomach that im hoping i can undo as time goes by.

Ive just accepted a new job also - full time. New beginings! They do say, when one door closes another one opens - ive been fed up of it being slightly ajar in my life lately, im glad to have closed the door and gone thru the other one (i dont know if im making any sense girls - mind u - did i ever tho lol)

Im still gonna be checking up on u ladies - there is NO WAY im not going to. I'll stalk the bloody lot of u till u get ur BFP's. You have been my rock in my time of need and i cant thank u enough.
I know i said i wasnt going to read or reply for a while - but i had to share with you what the clinic had told me. Its a chapter thats now closed in my life, and i am going to enjoy the rest of it being blessed with what i have :D

Love to all, my dear friends .....

Becky Xxxx

Good Morning Ladies,

Hope my US girls had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Mine was nice, went to my Grandmothers and hung out there for the day. My son acted like a little turkey all day (such a wild one I tell you)

Bec- Glade you enjoyed your day! I totally understand about the DH thing, I am kind of having a rough couple days with mine but I cant blame the meds I can only blame him this time or maybe I can take some blame HEHE!

Becky, I am sorry that you have been through a lot. I am glade that you and DH have made a decision that you agree on, And you better come and check on us as I know I would like to hear how you are doing.

Tonia- WELCOME! So glade that you are here! I am sorry that last time did not work out for you, but I know that this one is your lucky one!

Aunty- Hope you enjoyed your day. And the list is looking great, I love the poem for the 2WW it is beautiful!

Sorry I have forgotten to include you all, I am at work today and I need to try and get some things done so I can sneak out to the sales! I can not believe Christmas is a month away!

Love you all,
Erin

Good Morning Ladies! Well I am "fat" and happy this morning!!!! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family. I am sure that I ate way too much and then my mommy still made me eat more. Today we are off to my in-laws to help with their Christmas decorations. I refuse to near a store as I worked retail for 8 years and hated the way people are. So all you who brave the stores today: God's speed and good luck!

Well, I told my mom yesterday while we wre making dinner, she was very supportive and I'm sure she will be calling more then she already does! She is one of those women who won't be happy until she has 10 or more grand kids! She told me not to tell my dad until we get a BFP because he would worry about me too much and I know he doesn't need the added stress. I also told my sister-in-law because she has all of my old maturnity clothes and she said that what we are doing is wonderful but that I can't have the clothes because she is pretty sure she is expecting again. (They already have 2 kids, 1 girl who is 19 months and 1 boy who is 2 months.) While all babies are a blessing I don't know how they will handle this and I don't think she has told my bro yet.
My daughter overheard me talking to my mom and she is bouncing off the walls with excitment!
(Oh and she won the fight by smacking him with Barbie Dolls!)

Carolyn: I am so happy for you! That is great news to start of this weekend. Keep up the great work!

Welcome Susan, you have come to the right place. Best wishes to you.

Ok that's it for me, I have to "Grandma's Slaves" in gear! Have a great day ladies!

Hi Girls

Well, it is official, I start injections in two weeks!!!! Can hardly believe it. Thank you for welcoming me. Looks like it might take me a lifetime to catch up on your posts.

My history is:-

Married 10.5 yrs
TTC - 5.5 yrs
NHS Waiting list - July 03

We found out my DH was azoospermic in Sept 02 and he had sperm retrieval. We were really lucky that we have enough, hopefully, for 3 attempts at ICSI.

I will start injections on 7 December and carry the Buserlin on through til the New Year and then egg retrieval!!!

Well, that is my bit , I will now endeavour to read up on all of you!

Have a great weekend xxx

Hiya girlies,

I am going to try a fresh cycle in January. I have 2 tubes left of husbands good stuff and if January doesn't work then July next year and then I give up after that. We are not going back to retrieve any more sperm from him. We will have had 6 full goes and I think thats more than enough times to try.

I did have two frozen embies but they didn't make it past defrost. Luckily it was an unmedicated cycle so not the end of the world.

Anyway, Good luck to everyone going through it now and later.

Hi Lisa
Great to see you back on the boards - you may remember me from September's Hopes & Dreams?
Glad you're giving it another shot. We are also gearing up for another go starting just before Xmas. Feeling ok about it but a little apprehensive.
Anyway, looking forward to keeping up with how you're doing.
Take care and good luck

Hi everyone

It has been busy on here today. I hope all you ladies accross the atlantic had a good thanksgiving and enjoy the rest of your holiday. I hope you all enjoyed your turkey. News from me is a bit of a shock as they really had my hopes dashed yesterday but they have risen to 157 so i can continuewith my fET To have BT tomorrow and have transfer either Sun or Mon. I really want it to be sun as James is away to Amsterdam on Mon so he would not be able to be with me.

Christine that is really quick for your sister in law to mibby be expecting again after two months. She will certainly have her work cut out!!! Do you find it hard or you quite strong to be around her and the kids. I love my neices and nephews to bits but find it very hard to be around babies and try to avoid it as much as possible.

Angie I will be joing you on your 2ww. best of luck on monday. How many do you have frozen and what day are they??? I have 4 blasts in the frezzer.

Carolyn that is great news about follicules need to make them grow now.

shantala hope you got some nice xmas pressies when you were shopping. Unable to help you about the sperm. Good luck with your appointment.

Becleo We must be a bit of a knightmare with hubbies when we are full of hormones. Mine says i was very tempremental( what ever that means))!!!!

NEWS FLASH

Yet more news from me. Consultant just called from the clinic. They want to move me forward a day. YEAH!!!! So rather than going in on Monday for next scan, I am now booked in for Sunday. Even sooner. So may well be heading for EC on Tuesday and ET on Thursday. OMG. OMG. Suddenly seems v close. Dh just planned all his work around Wednesday and Friday but told him that if he complained I'd kill him!! Ha ha

Aunty - you sweetie trying to log on last night for me. Your messages must have got through to me. I so hope that your Maths is right. Would love twins - in my dreams. My clinic don't normally go to blast - more 2 day transfer is there thing. However, if we do get a good number then we will ask about holding on for 5 days so we really do get the best.

Anyhow will catch up on personals later this evening.

Love to you all.

Susan, I don't find it hard to me around them at all. The part I do find hard is when they sleep over and my nephew won't sleep! LOL, but they are the joys of my life, besides my own kids that is. I have found that the second greatest word is Aunty! The thing I do find hard is that she can have kids so easily, and even though it will be hard, the fact that she is not happy about the possibility of a 3rd lil one, that is hard for me.

Aunty, my grandparents were the same way; they had 15 kids all 10 months apart. God bless em because I think I would go nuts!
