Jackie - Thanks for dropping in to check up on us. I cannot believe your ticker when I see it. Seems only yesterday when you got your miracle and now you are so far along already. Take good care sweetie

Christine - I think that it is good that you toldyour Mom and SIL. Wow she has been a busy lady and will be even busier. I find talking to my Mum this time around has helped me versus cycle 1

Julie - Terrific that you get to start so soon. You have had such a long wait to get this far. It will be so exciting for you to get going

Lisa - so sorry that your little snowies did not make it. It is great that you have a firm plan of action for 2007. Sure that it will be your year hun

Em - less than a month to go until you can get started - hoping that it will fly by

Aunty - like the sound of your turkey curry. See what you mean re-blasts. My clinic transfer and freeze as well on Day 2 normally. We have talked to our consultant about going on beyond Day2 but he thinks that it is better to do Fresh + FET from higher numbers that live rather than going to blast at Day 5 were lots never make it. Can see arguements both ways. Will have to try not to stress and just say calm for now and see how things pan out. Thanks for all your support. You are a marvel

Susan - it is so close for you now. Good luck for Sunday/Monday. Hope it is Monday for you so that James is back. You and Angie will be leading the way forward for all the ladies on this terrifuc thread

Thank you all for cheering me on and giving me loads of support before and after my scan. Have left my ticker on Wednesday for EC but think now that they are seeing me a day earlier that it may move a day forward. Don't want to tempt fate so will wait until 2nd scan on Sunday before I make any changes.

Hope that you all have great weekends. We are going to Oxford to see friends tomorrow evening so will have to hold off on XFactor until Sunday. We'll come back late Saturday now so I am ready for my scan on Sunday. Also gives me a perfect excuse not to drink too.

I've got my ivf plan from doc.And it goes like that...
I got my period 17.11 and start with MICROGYNON until 11.12.2006.Then I got pouse for 5 days and start again with microgynon until 03.01.2007.
Then on 25.12.2006 I start with my second phase with SUPREFACT (DECACEPTYL) til one day before punction.
On 08.01.2007 I start with GONAL F until the day of punction.
Punction day planned for 20.01.2007,ET 3-5 days after.
That's all.I'm so nervious about it...and so so happy to get started (finaly,I wait whole year for this)

Hi Auntie Pebbles, and all Dec, Jan girls. I'm hoping I can transfer over to your thread from Nov 06 girls. I did my last cycle in OCT/NOV, and got a BFN. It was my 4th IVF attempt, although, my first in over 16 years. UGH! I just turned 40 this month, but was suprised I got as far as I did with my Oct. cycle. 5 eggs from my left ovary, as they couldn't ge to my right at all. Blood vessels were in the way. I had 3 perfect 8 cell embryos transferred, but still a BFN. I'm hoping to start another right away. as my biological clock is really ticking away. I just got AF today, but I'm thinking they'll make me wait at least through one month from my last cycle. So, looks like maybe Jan for stimming, etc....My appt with Dr. is Wednesday, so I'll find out more then. Good to talk to you all, and I'm sure this thread will be as great as NOV.

Becky, Honey. I cried read your post. What I knew about you from our first cycle as the most PMA person. What you have decided, it is the best for you. I know it must be very hard for you. So there is no word i can say that i am here to support what the best for you. I will be praying for Brian n you will get your dream come true. Im praying for you miracle. Hey Everyone
Hope you all had a great friday! It was awesome weather here today! I went to the clinic and had a trial transfer today and everything looks great. It was really uncomfortable though because I had to have a full bladder and I thought I was going to have an accident!! But I managed not to and everything went great! Doctor thinks that he will get 12-14 eggs during the EC.God willing my doctor plans to put back two eggs when we do IVF.
Also my IVF nurse gave us our first round of drugs for FREE! She saved us about $500! My DH and I are not covered by our insurance for IVF so we have to pay out of pocket for everything.
Well the in-laws are coming tomorrow so I need to scrub every inch of my house before they get here! Wish me luck!
Im thinking about and praying for each and everyone one of you.

After reading so many posts, it sounds like most clinics are open on weekends. I thought that they were only open mon-fri 8-5. I've been praying that AF doesn't come early cuz I was affraid it would screw up their schedule for all the tests and what nots. Maybe I can relax now.

sokru8: glad your trial wasn't bad. Mine was VERY painful...very much like my HSG. RE said he was having trouble getting measurements...i think my uterus is still mad at me . Grow follies grow!!!

As for me, maaaaannn, am i moody. poor DH (and in that case my family, the retail clerks that were unfortunate enough to cross my path today, and all the drivers i have cut off or flipped the bird to in the last 24 hrs ). Oh well. After my BFN on the 17th, they just kept me on the hormones (5 times a day!!!) so that i could start again right away. Off hormones starting yest, and i am feeling it! Just waiting for AF at this point...hope she comes on time! My belly is killing me right now! Feel like I did 200 crunches yest (i have never done more than 20 at a time if that gives you any idea ). Can't really chalk it up to competitive turkey eating from yest (didn't indulge too much), so maybe the ping pong tourney w/ nephews? Not sure...either that or the mother of all cramping sessions is right around the corner...

SOOO hoping to start stims on Mon!

OMG - you girls are catching me up! So happy for you Carolyn and Susan - we will 2ww together and arrive at our BFP's within days of each other.

Some friends who used to live in US are having a thanksgiving dinner tonight but they want us round to start drinking at 4pm! I am going to send DH round early and turn up late, mumbling about a migraine, which will miraculously disappear for a couple of hours and then return about 11pm so we will have to leave! Oh what a web of deceit I weave!

I may use the time before to go to church and say a prayer for us all - feel a bit of a hypocrite coz I don't normally go but I'm sure God will listen.

All right, my last post took me about 1 hr and 15 min to write (i dropped it bc my mom needed "just a little" help on the computer...i should've known better! I imagine a few of you can related to a 30 min teaching session on how to rename a file ). I am proud of myself though, considering my precariouly hormonal state--no yelling or screaming-- I consider that a success!

tcbalgord: my clinic (and all that i am aware of) are open 7 days a wk so they should be able to start treatment whenever AF shows up..... (they should be, we're paying through the nose!)

A great big to BigWhiteHapyDog....i was reading you over on the November thread in so sorry it didnt work for you last time im like you well sort of on my second try we had 3 8cell 1 6cell all perfect put back and got no sticky ones i think we need some fraggys they seem to stick better so heres wishing us all some fraggy little sticky ones.... great to have you here im sure we will be calling on your expertese very soon...
