first time ivf and a little scared

would some one please help this is my first ivf and got a positive result on the 17 but started to cramp really bad on the 23 went to hospital no bleeding or spotting my i think its called hcg count was 485 not much cramping now more burning sensation but still scared due for my scan on the 30 still have a positive result has any one else had the same symtoms and been fine cos i have read that some have had a pos result then had cramps then at the first scan had no sacs im so concerned been trying for a baby for 12yrs with some m/c i have lupus and have to inject tanzaparin and take asprin and steriods every day please can some one help thankyou

Hi,

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I had cramping and bleeding on numerous occassions and all turned out fine, i think unless you have bleeding take it as a good sign that it is your body changing to accommodate your pregnancy. Sorry there is not much i can say to put your mind at rest, i know how difficult it is until that 1st scan,

thankyou for your reply had a restless night not being able to get comfy my breasts swollen twices there size a bit embarrising realy used to not haveing any lol not much cramping now no morning sickness just a heavy feeling hopefully baby or babys are fine on first scan being a first time ivf i think im a little scardie cat
