Hi Lovely ladies….

Angie, Yes Jakarta is very hot lately. (I will ask Sun to concentrate only on our island, so you can have a very nice weather :D ) No no… It won’t affect your embies. They will survive. Good luck on FET Monday. Twins here you come!!!

Babyblue, in Asia. for egg transfer, maximum 3 embryo. There is no age issues about this, I think that is good to think a lot about 3 transfer. Because having triplets is more risky.

Shantala, Good luck on DH andrology assessment? I don’t really understand, is it assessment before doing TESA/MESA? I’ve never heard that frozen sperm has slimmer chance. I hope not. I need those frozen sperm to work this time since last cycle no fertilization n DR said the problem could be on me. I hope the frozen sperm will do great job. Good luck on Christmas shopping. I wish I had that tradition here.

Caroline, Wow your lining growing so lovely. Im glad Accu works. Your body works very well. Good luck on ER. Im so exciting for you. Id like to have twins too… Im praying for you.

Macca Lissa, Im glad you starting again. We are praying you will get BFP on coming cycle. Im so sorry about your frostie. Hug for you

Nimble, looks like we will start very close again. Hope ICSI will bring very strong BFPs for us. Good luck on Accu.

Jordan, im glad you will be able to do FET b4 end this year. You will open 2007 with your BFP. Wohooo!!! Thanks a lot for explaining Pilgrims. I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means  Good luck on FET. I read better success with FET :D

Debz, how was the thanksgiving dinner? What did you have? Im so jealous. Anyway, how much do you pay for one session accu? I paid about US$7 in Jakarta n about US$ 27 in Singapore. Still complain about it :D

Charity, Happy birthday honey… Hope DH will get you big present and big birthday cake… Yummy…

Susan, Sorry what happened b4. Hope your dream come true on coming cycle. Good luck on ET.

Bec, Your sister also do IVF? Sending my prayer for her. Glad your mom recover. About DH, no idea to say. My DH always driving me nuts since we met. But what can I do without him? I must try to be more patient to all kind of man, who knows I will get another man in my life. I mean baby boy. Good luck on gym. Do you do weight lifting?

Christine, Im so sorry you wont get your clothes back. Im sure you are going to need it soon. You can shop new models. The maternity clothes now are prettier n cheaper. You will look pretty n cute on them :D

Julie, Yes you are lucky that DH had some sperm. My DH also azoospermia. His body stopped producing sperm :( Is this you 1st IVF? Good luck on stim :D

Sanny, I was nervous n exciting on my 1st IVF. I believe I will be too on next one. Good luck on Gonal.

Bigwhitehappydog, Welcome. Sorry about what happened. Good luck on your next cycle. My thought and prayer for you.

Sonya, glad your ET trial went well. I didn’t have trial. I remembered trying not to pee. I was scheduled ET on 9.30am but DR must go for surgery so he showed up on 11am. While he was doing scan I was trying not to pee on his face… (Sorry…) Lucky, ET finished very quickly. Have fun with your fam.

Ssalgado, how are you? are you on 2ww now?

I hope everybody else okay. As for me, Im feeling healthier, my body is recovering. Im planning to be more serious on Diet on Monday. I think I have done it seriously. cause I read here that weight was not a big issue. A lot of extra weight woman got pregnant :D
Sticky baby dust to all of you. God bless

Luv, Jemma

Angie - know what you mean with all the lies. They just trip off my tongue now. Nothing bacd but just to get us out of these sticky spots. Told dh that when I say we are leaving party tonight that means we are leaving - not laeving in 2 hours time  Like the migraine. I might develop that too! Agree with you re=prayer also. I am not v religious but am certainly saying prayers right now for me & everyother lady on this board. I am right behind you. So hoping that Monday will go well for you. So close now. We can go mental in 2ww together

Susan - So hoping that your hubbie will be there for transfer with you. Look forward to sharing 2ww with you too!

Christine - clinics vary there opening times. Mine does not do EC/ET on Sunday but will do scans/bloods. They are also closed over Xmas. Only 1 clinic in London is opem 365 days a year and they charge 3 times the normal price but then can do due to the successrates that they have. Best to call your own clinic just to check it out & put your mind at rest.

Sonya - know what you mean about the full bladder thing. For ET was so sure that I needed to be full to have best chance and then thought that I would wee all over table. So undignified. They put a picture of Maldives on roof of room. Dh and I went there a couple of years ago so kept telling dh to look at that and not me!!! Free drugs. WOW. What a bonus for you. We have to pay for it all ourselves. Thought about it the other day and must have cost us over £10,000 already. Only thing that our insuarance covered was the initial tests and the laparoscopy. Everything else we have had to pay in full. I hate insurance companies!!

Sanny - it is so cool that you have a plan and all your dates. I always find that this helps a lot as you can focus on the countdown. Beats waiting! Waiting! Waiting!

Bigwhitehapydog - Welcome - I am so sorry that you are having to join us. So hear you about the ticking clock. I am 4-0 as well. Cause of 2 ops in June and August, we have only just managed 2cycles this year. It is good that they will stayrt you again quite soon. My clinic want 3AFs between each lot of tmt. They wanted me to wait post-op until after Xmas but we went and sat in consultants office until he changed his mind!!!! At my scan yesterday she was worried that they may not be able to reach one side. I thought that she said scar tissue but when I read your post recalled that actually she said blood vessels in the way. What a bugger. Luckily seemed to be on the side with less follies. Hope so. Anyway, it is good that you have come to join us on the journey

Jemma - Thank you for your prayers. I so hope that they will make all the difference this time around. I pay £45 for each session of acu so sounds like you are getting a bargain. I figure that if it helps then this is a small price to pay versus the total cost of each round of tmt!

So 14 injections done and no really black bruises. What a pro!!! Ha Ha. Wish that I could just stay in tonight and watch X Factor but seeing a big group of friends for pre-Xmas pary out of town in Oxford. Don't knon what we are going through so will be good to talk of other things and take my mind off tmt. Plus driving back and an Angie style migraine will hopefully hold off too many questions about why I am on the water. Simply cannot believe that I have another scan tomorrow. All these weeks/months of waiting and then like buses, they all come at once!!! Feel so calm compared to round 1. Can I maintain for this week? Will check in tomorrow as soon as I am back from scan 2 and let you know news.

Hope that you all have great weekends. PMA. PMA. PMA. Big hugs for Susan & Angie as you approach ET and the 2ww.

Lots of Love

Hi Ladies,

I've been severly out of the loop  ! I know I always start my post with that one  !

CHARITY - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY...HOPE IT WAS A GREAT ONE!

BIGWHITEHAPPYDOG - WELCOME...LOVE THE NAME!!

AUNTY - Your dinner sounded awesome.....I had to have someone else cook this year so that I would not be tempted to sample too many sweets....but decided what the hell, make the pilgrims proud!

WELCOME TO ALL THE OTHER NEWBIES TO THE THREAD!! I can only read back so far this morning as I have a lot of work to catch up on.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Just a short little message as it seems I only have times on the weekend now to say hi.

It seems that everyone has a better IVF timetable than me. I feel as if I am in limbo. We have 2 frosties to put back but for some reason DH wants to try for a fresh cycle. I don't think we can even do that without going the frozen first, right?? DH wants to go to the fresh cycle because if we joined this shared risk program, we get 6 chances at becoming pregnant at very discounted cost. There's a few requirements and we only have a small window of opportunity. I just don't know what to think. He just sprung this on me after turkey day! Any suggestions labies???

Thanks,

Charity - Opps forgot you in my earlier post. Wrote a list for myself and then left you out! So very sorry.

Have a very Happy Birthday hun.

Keisha - guess we each have to make our own decisions. In the UK, it is possible to do Fresh whilst you have frosties. I am doing that! Guess it would be the same in the US. Our logic is as follows. Suits me to do Fresh now especially as I am on a sabbatical from my stressful job. Did cycle 1 whilst in a v pressured job and was madness. I feel that I could do FET whilst working but not another Fresh. Also given my age, we feel we need to get on with it whilst my 6 frosties are frozen at age 39 eggs and may possibly be a little brother or sister in time!? If we were supper lucky. I also find this cycle that the fact that we have the frosties gives me some insurance if we fail again. Not sure whether this makes any sense to you at all? Cannot believe that dh sprung that on you on Turkey Day! Big decision but if you have a chance to do another fresh then it might be worth it. Your little frosties will still be there waiting for you. Good Luck with your decision what ever you decide.

Absolutely pouring it down with rain in London today. Glad that I went to supermarket early

Take care all.

Lots of Love

Carolyn, Unfortunately, my right ovary (the one they couldn't get to) was the big producing one. I had about 15 follies in there. UGH! Seems like such a waste. My brother in law (who is a Dr.) said that the ovaries move a little, so it's possible that they may be able to get to it next time. Has anyone ever heard of your ovaries moving???? So, don't fret yet. They may be able to get to it fine. Good Luck!

Charity, Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Charity!!!!!! I watched the weather today and even though we will be cloudy you and I are going to have nice temps in the 40's and 50's. I hope that you are able to get and enjoy before the snow! I hope that all your birthday wishes come true.

As for me I am going to be baking cookies all day. I decided to lock myself in the kitchen and think about the upcoming week and leave hubby to tend to the kids! Friday he will be having his biopsy, so I'm praying we will have something to work with. I will be doing my part with all the meds and and scans and ops, so the least he could do is this!!!!!!

Have a great day ladies I will pray for all of you while I'm baking up a storm!

Morning All!
saturday here in Massachusetts, so nice to still have 2 more days off from work!!! Getting ready for our annual Gingerbread decorating Day! love traditions. few more days til AF should be here then the fun begins! Shipment of drugs are scheduled to arrive Monday, all the pretty boxes! hopefully this will be my xmas present!!!! I hope for all our BFP's in the coming weeks/months. how amazing would that be!

Erin- had a "chat" with DH yesterday so we seem to be back on the same page, he didn't really have much to say because he realized that I was right.. of course hehehehe! drugs oir no drugs us girls are ALWAYS right! hehehe. did a bit of shopping yesterday I was AMAZED i found outfits for my triplet neices! so cute, I can never find 3 of the same sizes..! so excited.

Christine! Barbie Dolls unite!!!! I remember fighting with my brothers with them, but they got even... they bit of all of my barbies noses! ahhh brothers! I am glad you got such a support in telling your mom, it helps so much having family and friends to turn to throughout all this, I definitely have been getting quieter with each try. I need the support of the fam especially when I had my BFNs. for me I would rather tell people then let them think I was just being bitchy for no reason :)

Lisa lets shoot fotr the 5th try together being the one that gives us BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GBNUT - GOOD LUCK with the FET!!! sticky thoughts to you!!!!!!

Carolyn. WOW that is awesome! I am hoping that the scan gives you all the follies in the world, ok maybe not in the world but a beautiful amount to work with@!!!!!! and DH will be there for you no matter what@!

TC I LOVE being an Auntie too, best thing in the world!

Susan I always keep in mind that for me I can't be upset with anyone having babies becaus e It is what I want too. I find strength in seeing all the girls who have been lucky enough to get pregnant. it gives me hope. and seeing my neices and nephew just makes me smile. they give the BEST hugs and Kisses and make everything ok for me!!!!

Charity _ HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! enjoy and have a blast!

Sanny- you know what they say all good things come to those who wait! hehehe. I hope this time flies for you, but love your PMA!!!! rock on!

Big White.....
I am so impressed by how you get to fly right into your next cycle. I have always waited a month in between to give my bod and hormones back to "normal" before going again, is it really hard on you? Keep on trucking, or stimming will be very close together!!!!!

Hey Jemma - how are things going for you these days?
hope everything is good! yup I do weight lift, just not during ER & ET times, no sense pushing it right, yup DH's drive us mad but we love em!!!!

Sonya- yeah for the freebies!!!! everylittle bit helps huh. We are so lucky that for the most part insurance covers for us. I am sop glad for you, almost there huh. LOVE cleaning before the parents or in-laws come over. never seems clean enough!

Sassy- crazy how the moods can change from one second to the next. and the people on the roads yesterday were INSANE!!!! stayed home for the most part, had a doggie play date for my pooch! he is still sleeping! lazy dog. baked some goodies for my party today and flipped my DH the bird behind his back hehehehe! ahhh I feel you pain!!!! Oh and my momm still calls to ask me how to forward her emails!!!!!

Angie- I actually started back to church a few weeks ago, needed a place for me. very peaceful and I look forward to going each week, pray for all you girls!

Keisha, I opted for a fresh cycle this time even though I do have 2 frozen, I feel so good that I would rather store up my little frosties in case down the line I run into trouble.... and I would rather do a fresh cycle since I lost three frozen during a thaw, and I am so gun shy...

off to walk the dog!!!!
he is pacing behind me right now hehehehe.
love bec

Good Morning Happy Saturday.....

Bec your gingerbread decorating sounds like so much fun oo can i come, im so pleased your hubby realized the error of his ways my DH's answer to everything is always yes dear he said his daddy didn't raise no fool...LOL enjoy the walk in this im going to snow soon air...

ooo TC baking do you make your own or does Pillsbury help i have to be honest im not much of a baker so made little Pillsbury my other man  have fun can i ask does the kitchen door act like sand does for an ostrich?...i hope to need it in the future...i will be saying prayers for DH biopsy and still holding on to them letting you in the open day

Sokru how's the house cleaning coming along i always forget something my MIL finds...LOL that program sounds fab i didn't see it, i have also heard that caffeine helps with the motor power of DH swimmers last time i gave hubby loads and we had two that fertilized one egg so i told him to cut down a bit this time that's a bit too keen....lol

Bigwhitehapydog do you mind if i shorten your name...LOL im so lazy BWHD or happy something like that?....every time i go for my baseline my ovaries are right there all fine then as soon as i start stimming my right one hides during the scans i have to press my belly in all sorts of ways for them to try to see it once they got 1 egg from it but the second time it vanished behind everything so yeah mine move im lucky that my right is my no good one (i only have part of it left) my left is my work horse so last time i got 11 eggs from just my left ...ooo i wanted to ask Carolyn about injections read Carolyn's i had an idea that might help you too.....

Carolyn ooo i cant wait to read your scan results tomorrow im so excited this right now seems to have come around so fast ...ok i have a question i read in an earlier post that you where doing your injections on one side for a few days then switched to the other did you notice if it made any difference to how many follies you produced from each ovary?....the reason im asking was i always did mine one side one day other side next day but maybe im wasting my time with doing them on the right if i could maybe get the left side to do more....LOL...just a thought

Kitty its so good to read you don't worry about not being able to get on all the time your always in our thoughts and prayers...its awful when we have these decision to make as far as i know you can do a fresh cycle and keep your frostie's on hold i would go with a fresh and just add to your frozen that way they are there so will be there should you need them like you say if you have a financial reason to get your fresh cycles done you then have back up for a brother of sister down the road but that's just my opinion and really has to be your decision...good luck

Jemima sweetie my dinner was fab lasted two days someone needs to grow some smaller turkeys....LOL...DH had turkey sarnies for two days now and we have two turkey curry's on hold....well accu here the one i found that does infertility and ivf is $85 a session i am in NY and im told its one of the most expensive places to be have to be honest i tried to get a job working in the stores to pay for it but no one wanted me  so we just cant afford that on top of the thousands for IVF only so much overtime my DH can do LOL

well love to all Aunty
Me 42 ,DH 45 ...3 IVF's BFN

Aunty, I don't actually have doors, but I do have chairs, and baby gates!!!!! I turn up the music really loud and try not to listen to anyone else. I have to say that AF is definately coming because I have yelled at every person today and I just burned my fingers! LOL, off to a great start!
Sorry to say that Pillsbury doesn't help me when it comes to Christmas cookies. Thank god for grandma writing down her recipes!

Hi everyone. You guys can certainly talk i think three pages in one day!!! Hope everyone is enjoying there weekend.

Kitty It is a big decision you have to make. I am doing FET as it is seemingly better than a fresh cycle for me as i have immune problems and when having a fresh cycle everything is stimulated where as in fet there is not so much going on. I dont see why yout clinic would make you use your frozen ones first and i think you would be able to have a fresh cycle if you chose to. If you get discount i would go for that as your frozen ones can be there for 5 years. Good luck.

Becleo sound like you are not far of starting. Good luck with gingerbread sounds like fun.

Christine you are baking too!!! There must be something in the air as my d/h has just gone and made scones. Hope all goes well with the biopsie on fri.

Sonyia good luck with the in laws remember to stay calm!!

bigwhitehapydog after my first ivf they said that they could not get to my left ovary but i moved clinics and the last ivf they were able to get to both so i dont know if it moved or what!!! But dont give up hope. It only takes 1!

Carolyn what clinic do you go to ??? i am in london to and yes it has bee very wet today!!!! Hope you have a good time with your friends from oxford.

Angie are you getting organised for mon. I have done all my washing and ironing and housework so that i am organised as will not be able to do it for a while.

Charity hope you had a good bday. did you do anything special???

Hope everyone else is doing well i will do more personals tomorrow or mon.

News is for me is that i have the go a head and to have ET tomorrow. So i hope at least 2 of my 4 survive the defrost. I willlet you all no tommorow.

Bec, I actually am waiting about a month between cycles. My last was OCT/NOV. My preg. test was the 21st of NOV. I just got AF two days ago. I probably wont start stimming until end of Dec or 1st of January. I'm taking most of December off. I wont be starting until my next AF cycle.

Aunty, feel free to shorten my name. I know it's long. You can call me BWHD, OR, you can call me Janice. That's my name. :-) I'm hoping those ovaries move, so that maybe they can get some from my right one this time. I lost so many from there. :-( I know my weight is an issue too. I'm at the border for being able to do IVF. I actually had to lose 10 lbs before they would put me under for ER. I'm still dieting and trying to lose some more before my next cycle. Maybe it will help. Who knows. My first 3 cycles I was not overweight, and they didn't work, so.... I don't know if it will help or not, but I guess any little bit I lose will make me feel better. I'm sure my Dr. will be happy too, as I wont be pushing the last lb right before retrieval like last time. UGH! It was awful. I literally starved the last two days to get off the last two lbs. Did you ever hear of a clinic being so strict with that??
