Sassy, try not to freak. and it is hard, but whatever happens keep in mind it is all one step closer to BFP whatever it is! I definitely have had my share of set backs and mini meltdowns, but some how you find the strength to push forth! hang in there I hope it is all right though!!!!!

Sassy - I am so sorry that you are having an issue with AF not really being here. So hope that scan tomorrow will be fine and that you'll be able to get going. Fingers crossed for you. There are so many bumps along the road when you for sure just want to power ahead

Angie & Susan - So happy that your FETs have both gone really well and that you are now sat up with your feet up and being looked after. Hopefully I shall be joining you both by the end of the week. Susan - ARGC. Have looked at it. The stats are amazing. I know that it is costly and intensive to be treated there but it is the best. We have agreed that if we do a couple more at Hammersmith that don't work then that is our final shot if we are not broke by then! Sticky vibes to both of you

Bec - Read blast and thought that same as Charity. Not that I am ivf obsessed

Aunty - I wish that you could come and do my nursery for me. Sure that it would look awesome judging by the boards that you do. As the others have said no point taking work and getting stressed out by that. I think that I may have to give up the acu as not cheap..........

Janice - They sound v strict re-your weight. I was told that it is not good to be too skinny (in my dreams!) or too over weight but other than that it was just good to try to eat healthily. The drugs put pounds on for me even if I eat well. Well the diet will have to wait until after Xmas for me now!!

Becky - you can be cyber godmother when ever you would like hun. Great to hear from you. Miss our XFactor chats!

Christine - glad that your fingers are now better. Honest I thought that the needles would be awful but you do get used to it. Honest. Enjoy your massage. I could really use a massage right now!

Jemma - If EC is like last time then they will sedate me but I knew nothing about it. Passed out on table and woke up asking so how many! Felt a bit sore afterwards but it was not as bad as I expected it to be. I had to stay off food and drink from midnight on day before so will make sure that I eat lots before I go to bed to keep me going. I miss being able to have a glass of water in the night or morning. No complaining - got to get on with it. Right! Thank you for your prayers. You are a sweetie.

Sorry that is all the personals that I can do. Completely shattered after my busy weekend but at least that will hopefully mean that I sleep tonight.

Thank you so much for all the cheer on messages. The Killers were totally fab. They were still on stage at 10.30pm so took the bull by the horns and did it in the concert arena. Like anyone was going to be looking at me. Doing it in the dark was quite challenging. So my male mate (who I have known for 20 years) says that if it is a boy that he'll have to be named after the lead singer - Brandon!! Not sure dh will be too happy with that. And if it a little girl then it is Flower - lead singers surname. It made me laugh so much that I was crying.

Feeling some cramping today and lots of twinges around my ovaries. Back hurts but could be the excesses of last night!? Hope that the twinges in my sides mean they are getting finally prepared!? Dh and I need to be at hospital at 7am tomorrow so a 6am start. I will try to log on when we come back from hospital if I am not too shattered. Could be a v brief one so will apologise in advance. A little nervous but nothing compared to ivf 1 as kind of know what to expect.

Thank you for all your support. I know that you'll all be thinking of me tomorrow. That so helps. I say - Bring it on!!!

Hey All
I survived to weekend with In-Laws! Actually it was very nice and they are helping us pay for the IVF and thankfully our parents really get along well!

I do start stimming today!!! I had blood test this AM and a u/s and everything looks good. They said the lining was 4mm? What does that mean is that good or bad? They are supposed to call me with my shot protocal today. Not looking forward to the shots but what can you do!

Sassy my AF was very simular to yours spotty and dark but when I went in today everything looked good. Try to relax and be positive that is half the battle! I am right there with you after all we are stimming on the same day!!

Charity: I love puppies! My DH and I have a lil daschund and I would love another one but he said the same thing no puppy til we know the future! As far as the National Geographic Channel thing they did not say caffine they said specifically coffee. My DH hates coffee too but I think I can convince him to drink a cup a day until the transfer. Maybe some flavored kinds!

Glad that you survived the weekend!

Good on you getting started. My understanding is that they like the lining to get to at least 8mm before they put the embryos back. But the drugs will help thicken it up over the next few days. So you are off to a good start. Now they'll just watch it grow as you go to each scan!

Afraid that you just get used to the shots. You'll do just fine. Soon be an old hand!

Hi ladies just been reading and catching up.

Aunty fostering is what me and DH are wanting to look into. I feel the same that even if we can make a diffrence in these childrens lifes when they are going through so much that i would feel like i'd made a difference. But i worry that i will become too attatched and it would brake my heart when they left me to go back to parents carers so we are still poundering on that one. Hope everything goes ok when you start cycle this time

Sassy my prayers are with you my first cycle they said the lining of my womb was to thin and they made me wait a few days then i went for another scan and it had thickened up only thing waz all my other scans after had be changed and id already booked time off work for them nightmare. Hopefully everything will be ok.

As for me still no sign of a job although waiting to hear about a few. Waiting to here from employer about appeal date its dragging on now went to see a solicitoeor today. Well had intentions to until i got told it would cost me 100 pound for 45 mins with one and thats just to tell them my story so i can forget that.
Been xmas shopping over wkend wich waz fun took nephew to see santa his face waz amazing he cried mind u dont blame him santa had lost a lot of weight lol.

Sonja...My period right before my first cycle (after being on Lupron for 5 days before taking my last bcp) was very mild and hardly there, too. It's likely the clinic will be more focused on looking for cysts or other abnormalities with the u/s rather than the thickness of your endometrial lining. They'll also be looking at your b/w to make sure your FSH and E2 levels aren't elevated. If I remember correctly, my baseline was 4.2 mm and (again if I remember correctly) I think they told me they ideally like the endometrial lining to be less than 5 mm on the baseline scan. I don't think they would have even canceled the cycle if it were thicker (unless it was really thick), but that's the "ideal" thickness. Hope this helps hon? You hang in there. The time for you will come. If not this month, then like Aunty said, you'll have tons of us to cycle with. Take care, my dear...

Ohhhh this day just gets better! My clinic finally returned my phone call! They have extended my BC by 2 weeks ue to them being closed for the holidays. Tomorrow I have to go in for the blood work, yippie , on the 5th I am having a hysterosonogram, and DH and I have lovely injections class on the 13th. Well be starting our injections on the 24th (christmas eve, yippie!!!!) They are saying that I should be ready for egg retrieval the week of Jan 2nd; can that be right? I thought the injections were longer then a month. Oh well, at least i know when all the good stuff is starting.
