Rittie i am with you i am inbetween clothes right now. My normal jeans don't fit but the maternity jeans i bought are huge--LOL never thought i would say that about clothes. I am not real concerned with what the doctor said--they think if we were all skinny the world would be perfect--no pains, aches or whatever. Ok i am done.

Hello,

I am new to this thread, was to scared until now to join this side of the forum... I went for BW yesterday and begged my doc to do a quick scan just to check the baby's HB. We saw it (although the US machine was so old we could not see much!) so I feel much better now.
I am going to my Nuchal scan on the 29th so I hope I will see my baby more clearly then.

My due date is around the 7th of June (well, I have been given the 4th, 7th, 13th). Anna, can you please add me to the list? It seems so strange to finally be here! :P

Thanks
xxx

Hey everyone....

Wow I haven't been on here in a while. Whoever said that I would get a "burst" of energy during the second trimester was WRONG! I feel even more tired! But I was lucky and was exhausted during week 4-12.

I have some questions for you all:

I was big breasted before pregnancy....so you can imagine how huge they are now

Do any of you recommend a good support bra for the rest of the pregnancy?

I also noticed the other day that they had leaked......a little through my shirt....anyone else?

I am still feeling only flutters can wait for more!

Talk to you all soon!

Michelle, I am sorry you don't feel better!

I hope all of you are enjoying pregnancy and your lives. I have had some busy days this week. Last night I felt the baby! I am sure I have felt it before, but last night was the first time I was confident. It was a little fluttery, but a bit more of a bumping than I expected. Almost like a heartbeat in my lower abdomen. It was light, but when I was in bed I could feel it a lot. Neat, huh?

Have a great weekend girls!

Hi Ladies, happy Friday!

Sue, thanks for message. Good to hear from you. Keep us posted on Jessica!!

Welcome Souris. So glad you made it!! Congrats on your pregnancy. It's amazing when you see that little tiny heartbeat isn't it? Have added you to our list.

Michelle, hi. Sorry can't offer any help with the support bra question, but can sympathise with the feeling tired. I actually feel more tired now than I did during the 1st tri. Maybe it's because work is busy. I don't know. Am spending a great deal of time lying on the settee watrching tv at the moment! Hope you are feeling better soon.

Lucy, congrats on feeling movement. I was exactly the same. Lots of little flutterings, gradually they got stronger. Then yesterday, wham, a really big bumping! Even DP felt it!! We were so excited. Can't wait for our scan next week.Good luck with yours on Tuesday...keep us posted!

Hi ladies,
Michelle-I too sympathize with being tired. I think If I could actually sleep, I would feel better. I cannot sleep!!! I feel so iritable, that I can't sleep. I haven't been truly relaxed for a long time. I think I need yoga or something.

Anna- glad to see all is well with you. Is your belly popping as is mine? I cannot believe we are actually at the halfway mark!!!! Ya!!! I get a scan on the 27th. Hope they can tell what it is. I'm thinking boy, cause dh's family is full of em.

Lucy, how was the scan today. Hope all went well.

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to drop in to say that we are having a girl! We had our ultrasound and everything is great. It was a much more detailed ultrasound and it was quite cool seeing the brain, the chambers of the heart, and the kidneys.

We have been walking around with huge grins on our faces. Looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday, even though it is going to be very low key for us. We are staying home alone... the last one for awhile!

Congrats to you Anna and Riley for making it to the halfway point.

Emmie, good luck tomorrow.

Everyone have a good rest of the week!

Hi Ladies, hope everyone having a good weekend.

Rileydee, due date buddy!!! I'm sure these little beanies will make an appearance when they are good and ready without a thought for us!! How are you? Good luck for your scan tomorrow. Will you find out the sex of your baby? The detail on the scan is amazing.......Happy to be your buddy to the very end :D

Lucy, congrats on your girl!! Have you decided on a name yet? Living in England I don't know much about the thanksgiving holiday. Hope yours was as you planned and you got time to relax and enjoy yourself.

Emmie, how was your appointment? Did you have a scan? Hope all went well.

Dione, good luck with your scan this week. Will you find out the sex of your babies?

Michelle, good luck with your scan too! Keep us posted!

As for me, like Lucy, we had a detailed scan. It was great to see everything so clearly. Baby behaved well and the sonographer could find and see everything she needed to. We saw, heart, brain, lips, feet, hands, bladder, kidneys etc etc .......It was truly amazing. Baby is also measuring the exact size for due date. We were delighted :D

Hi Anna,

Thank you for the update and very pleased for you that the baby is well and the scan was amazing. I haven't seen a doctor or midwife/ anybody since my 13.5 week scan and the next appointment is not till 20.5 weeks for the next scan. I kinda feel a little bit disconnected and hope that the babies are indeed doing fine. Is it UK standard practice to have so little contact with the antenatal staff? I'd love to hear your experience.

I've had a bit of a growth spurt lately and can hardly button up my usual trousers now. Guess if there has been a growth spurt means everything is going ok and the babies are growing.

Good luck to all the girls having scans soon.

Lots of love
Rittie

Hi ladies!!
I'm so nervous for our scan today. I hope everything is were it should be. I haven't had one since 9 wks. I have been so emotional this last week. I think its the holidays. I should be the happiest girl ever, but I was crying all weekend. No real reason, just crying. My poor DH. I was a basketcase before we even started this journey, cause my horomones have been a mess since I hit puberty. I need to keep myself in check. Good luck to everyone else getting scans.

Lucy- congrats on your baby girl!!!

I'll be on later to tell you all what we find out.

It's a girl!!! Everyone in my family, including me thought it would be a boy. Girl names are easier to come up with anyways. DH and I are thrilled. The baby is measuring exactly were she should be and everything looks great!! Thanks!!!

Congrats on the great scan Anna! And Riley, congrats on your girl. It is nice to see that someone else doesn't have a name picked out yet! We are having a hard time deciding between 3 names. Hopefully soon we will figure out what her name is. I had a friend that went back and forth for the entire pregnancy and then the day she was born she had to decide. She said finally they just wrote one down and went with it, but she still was unsure.

Rittie, I am sorry about all of the time between appointments. I can see how you would be feeling disconnected. I go in every month, and I still feel like I should be getting more.

Today I got my results for the AFP test. Everything came back negative, so she looks good and healthy. I hope you all are enjoying your pregnancies.
