Jemima--Thanks for make the special prayer list!! Your doing a great job!! I love Friends!!! LOL!!! The 1st meeting with the social worker was very informative!! I am on information overload... Me and DH teared up several times and after it was over we went and got some lunch and talked and stayed teared up all thru lunch... Happy tears though!! We have our last part of the homestudy this coming Saturday!! It will be at our house!! EEEEKKK! Started putting xmas decorations up today so the house would look festive and pretty and guess what our "prelite" tree has 3 lights that work on it!!! Great!!! I don't know what to do... get lights or just get another tree???

CarolynB-- I loved your rainbow story... it made me smile!!!

Hi Everyone,

Jeck - thanks for adding me to the list, your adoption process sounds so exciting, I remember the part in "Friends" as I am also a mad fan!! Me and DH has recently been discussing adoption and I am trying to find more information about the process, I think that we would like to adopt even if we do have our own child!!

Jemima - your special prayer list is very helpful for rembering who is doing what, I wonder if you could add me, I am having some problems with my stimming and trying to grow some follies for IVF#2!! Hoping I won't get cancelled!! Got another scan on Wednesday 29th Nov!! Thanks

Jeck, I'm so glad everything is going well for you in the adoption process.

We are going to adopt, we were going to start procedures over here but don't think we will have long enough before we move back to England. So we will wait till we get back, in Jan 08. Only a year to wait, but it seems like a lifetime.

We are praying that this attempt works, but the hope is fading. If we are lucky enough to get a BFP. We are still going to foster/adopt when we get back, i want lots of children around my ankles.

As per usual i was away with the fairies by 12am last night, so i said a pray for you all, and eveyone else in the shower this morning. i hope he didn't mind me praying in my birthday suit....

I hope the prays are working for everyone and we are all on the way to having our dream come true..

Hi Jemma - Had scan yesterday and these follies just aren't growing quick enough for me!!! I have got to go back on friday for another scan and see how they are doing!!!
They are a bit bigger so hopefully these prayers are working!
Where are you in your cycle? I want to pray for you too!!!!

Dear Ladies

I did acu today before and after my ET. As I laid on the table covered in needles, I said a special prayer for every lady on these boards. That we would all have our dreams come true. I felt so calm as I laid there and thought of all of us.

I so hope that it works - especially for Dory/Rachel tomorrow. BFP. BFP. BFP. You go girl!

I test 12th December so maybe Jemma you could kindly update the list for me. I'll be asking for special prayers that day from all of you.

Just a quick post, I will do personals later! So much going on I can't keep up, forgive me!!

Anyway I had some bloodwork done after my recent miscarriage and they did some testing for blood disorders and mine came back positive for Factor V Lienden and for MTHFR... The Factor V means that I will have to be on heprin if I ever do anther cycle and the MTHFR means that I will have to have a much higher dose of folic acid and some prescription, that I don't remember... I have a phone consult with my RE on Tuesday so maybe I will have more answers...

We are still going to proceed with the adoption no matter what though...

Hope all is well with everyone, I will post personals later, I have to get thru this homestudy on Saturday first though!!!

Hey Jeck-- What's Factor V Lienden? What's MTHFR? I've heard some other ladies mention them, but I just never asked. I have to say MTHFR looks kind of like an abreviation for a word I'm not aloud to say!!

It sounds like good news that they have figured this out. Oh, I can see it now... you can adopt, and then you can do FET and get pregnant... and then have 2 babies under the age of 2!! WOW! Gotta go! Praying for you on Saturday!! Try not to stress too much, I know you will do wonderful!!

I am so very glad to hear this news! This means you have a ton of hope! I have the exact same problem and was lucky enough to have given birth to my two boys, however I also lost six little ones in the process. This cycle and pregnancy, they have treated me with extra folic acid, a perscription called Folgard and the Lovenox (similar to the heprin) and we have had smooth sailing this time around. I have had no signs of the blood clots or threatened m/c. Now that they found this, you can rest assured that they will help you for the next one(s)! I was so worried when we started this cycle because of only one embryo making it to transfer and the fears that I would m/c. However, my RE has done a great job of keeping an eye on us and we have not had any of the problems from before. I am almost to the 12 week mark and that means I should be fairly safe in assuming we are going to make it all the way. I pray you will have this experience soon!

Well ladies,

Test taken for the last time, and it was as we expect a BFN for us again.

We were expecting it as we had 3 neg HPT during the week, especially the one we done yesterday.

I want to thank you all for your wonderful support and well wishes through everyone of my cycles, i really couldn't have got through it all without you all.

You are all amazing women and men, to endure what you do to get what most women can have at a click of a finger, You are strong. stubborn and very couragous to go through what you do, whether this works for you or not you should all be proud of who you are, and don't let anyone ever tell you different.

We are going to take a year out now and enjoy our last year in USA, then we will start adoption procedures when we move back to the UK.

I hope and pray that you all get your dream and have a baby to love and cherish, whether it's through IVF, adoption or by miracle naturally.

Rachel honey I am so sorry... I was really hoping that it would work... I know you plan on adopting but it is still hard when you would like to have a bio child as well. Just know that you are in my thougths and prayers...

I know you are going to wait till you go back to england to adopt but there might be stuff that you can start on while you are waiting to move back to make it easier and faster process when you actually move. I have found working on all this paperwork for adoption very good for me, gives me something important to focus on...
